This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I regularly stay in hotels. From the friendliness and helpfulness of each member of staff to the comfort of the bedrooms, particularly the beds, to the huge menu and sumptious food, of which I have never seen such variety for breakfast as well as dinner. When I was leaving I was even offered a product to de-ice the car as it was a frosty day. Well done to all. I will certainly be back.

Fantastice service. Not too much trouble for staff in relation to us and the children. Would definitely consider going back to the hotel on a mini break. Kids club was really good and our children really enoyed themselves.

We found this hotel to be very family friendly. The food was fantastic. The pool was a big plus, the only thing is that the kids could only use the pool between 9am to 7pm, which was a bit hard for them to understand especially for older children. Besides this small issue we had a thoroughly enjoyable time, and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. It is remote, which was refreshing from city hustle and bustle, and Limerick city is only a few minutes drive away. Plenty of things to do if you are willing to travel, eg Allwee caves, cliffs of Mohar, and Galway bay.

The staff in the bar, restaurant and at reception were extremely polite and helpful. The decor of the room was modern and pleasant. Staff did however chat very loudly every morning at approx 8am in the hallway outside my room but I could have just been unlucky. Pool is lovely and food is ok - nothing special though. Will definitely go back and will bring the kids next time as children seemed tpo be well entertained by the hotel staff throughout the day.

We had a lovely stay at Fitzgeralds. I had my two children aged 3 & 4 and I feel a games room would be extremely beneficial.

We changed rooms three times on the evening we arrived. We were sent to a smoking room first despite having booked non-smoking. Then a room which must have had a burst pipe as the odour was appalling. The third room was grand. Very child friendly and the Spa treatments were wonderful. Leisure centre very good and food was good.

Very friendly hotel environment. Will be much better once building is complete. Rooms perfect for families but televisions could do with an update since invariably with small children you spend more time than most in the room. Swimming pool was best part. Definitely worth a visit. Surrounding areas is beautiful

when entering the reception we found the decor to be a bit outdated particularily the reception desk. Our room 415 had a strong damp smell and there were no pictures on the walls. The restaurant was very drab also.My husband and i both work in the hotel industry in 3 & 4 star establishments and a little let down by these few issues. However the lesiure centre was excellent and all staff very pleasant. Jimmy Mac's Bistro was very nice and the quality of the food and choice for breakfast was good.
