positive: nice service, great beds, big rooms, beautiful breakfast room and meeting rooms with fireplaces that were on every night, swimmingpool. great village - Adare! free internet plus printer in the meeting room. beautiful interior. Man, who seemed to be the owner or manager was overly friendly and helpful immediatly (see cold breakfast room).
negative: it was freezing cold for breakfast in the breakfast room, also because the hotel is so old, the windows are old and leave the cold air through. there was no complimentary tea and coffee facilities as proposed in our room. Breakfast was only average, nothing special although very nicely presented with silver cutlery etc. not better than in a good B&B. Breakfast staff less friendly than reception or leisure staff.

We had a beautiful stay in the Dunraven.The staff,food,service and room were faultless. The only minus is the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

No one offered to take my bags to my room- this should be a given for a 4 star hotel!

We had a wonderful time the staff are very helpful and freindly, we will remember it as a time to look back on with fond memories
