I was dissapointed that there was a smell of drains from the bathroom and although this was picked up by the very charming young lady who showed me the room initially. She did offer another room which I did not like as much. The next day the smell disappeared after cleaning but returned the next day
Some more drastic cleaning or sterilization of the bathroom wastes is obviously needed
The only other crticism is one you may need to look at from a potential injury point of view is that when the shower is switched of using the on/off button and leaving all other controls as they are, the water continues running for a while at half speed and the water becomes scalding hot until the flow stops, which is some cosiderable time. If you know about it you can turn the shower head to the side while it continues to run but if not the occupier could be badly burnt
I really should have mentioned this before I left but did not get round to it

The hotel was pleasant but the kettle did not work when we arrived and they had to change it and roof leaked into our room and we had to put the bin underneath to collect the drips. When I reported it the comment was "Oh must get the maintenance man to have a look".

Friendly staff, very comfortable room, nice and warm, lovely jaccouzi bath in spacious bathroom. Only problem was I couldn't stay longer as I was in transit with work commitments. Thank you.

Our daughter held her wedding reception in this Hotel last December We had a wonderful time .the meal was superb, service excellent ,rooms very comfortable and warm all our guests raved about the meal said it was the best wedding they were ever at We really had a great time Many thanks to all the staff who made it such a memorable occasion.

Really enjoyed our stay in Leixlip House. Room was beautiful, very spacious. Food was excellent. Service was excellent and in my view exceeded all expectations. I mislaid a wedding card and the staff searched the rubbish and returned the card to me intact. We travel alot and this hotel really was excellent.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel, food was lovely with lots of choice. Breakfast was great also. Service was friendly and fast. Room was comfy.
