Really nice weekend stay at Killashee, fabulous food in Turners restaurant, lovely spa treatments, hotel was busy,but not in an intrusive way, which made a nice atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. Staff very helpful and friendly. All-in-all very enjoyable!

We have stayed in Killashee House Hotel a number of times now and totally adore it. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the accommodation lush and the food's just amazing. For us it's our escape from our crazy everyday lives. I for one am looking forward to our next stay.

we were really pleased with our stay- our party was made up of 2 adults and children aged 5 and 14, we sampled the afternoon tea and would recommend it to anyone and to be honest it was more food than just 2 people alone could manage- jacks bar had a nice atmosphere to enjoy it in,it wasreally good, we alos used the leisure facilities- the pools were great and the gym is one of the best we have ever seen,
the staff were great too- we had a great stay and would definitely come back .

I love staying here when on business. The hotel has so much characte. The beds are comfortable. The rooms well appointed and the staff are always so helpful and polite. I could not envisage stating anywhere else.

Fantastic hotel, food, service, gym & pool...everything. Staff were so friendly. Stayed for sisters wedding and had a great time can't fault in any way. Oh, and the roast beef at the wedding meal was to die for! :) Many thanks to you all. Hope to visit again some time soon. X

We had a lovely time in Killashee House Hotel, as it was our anniversary we were upgraded to a four poster room, which was very nice! We had a great experience at the hotel, service was exceptional from reception to restaurants to bar. We had the the Oriental Rasul treatment special which was fantastic. Overall we felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much and we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Killashee. The hotel was extremely busy and we anticipated a lot of noise at night however, it was extremely quiet and we had a really good nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was very good also. We would recommend the hotel to our friends and we hope to stay at Killashee House Hotel again.

Apart from the wonderful setting myself and my husband were upgraded on arrival which made us very happy. Our evening meal was really good and the waiting staff were obviously highly trained but also very friendly. Both of us had two different treatments in the Spa and my therapist Florence was fantastic. I had a full body massage which left me feeling very relaxed.
So overall a terrific experience and one I hope to repeat as soon as possible.

The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent. During the weekend we had all our meals in the hotel (not something which we normally do) so top marks for food! The rooms were clean and comfortable but I thought maybe a mini fridge and a more generous complimentary tea/biscuits would have been nice. Just little touches that make a big difference.
The grounds and Naas itself is lovely. Very relaxed. A beautiful part of the country which is clean and tidy - pity is isn't promoted more for tourism.

We attending a wedding in October at Killashee House, We found the hotel to be warm , relaxing with extremely helpful staff. The bedrooms where a good size is not in need of a little brightening up, but that is the only thing I could say. The food was exceptional the best i have had in a while. The hotel ins quirky in its layout but is part of the character of the hotel. I would recommond this hotel without any hesitation and will stay there again soon.

Enjoyed our stay at the Killashee House Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to the staff in the leisure centre, who were very reassuring and kind to us as it was our baby's first time in the pool.
The food in Jacks Bar and Turners Restaurant were of high standard. Would definitely stay again.

First class hotel. Excellent staff - friendly and efficient. One female member of staff on reception especially helpful and kind, giving exact details. The room was always cleaned etc to a very high standard.We spent quite a lot of time in the hotel because of disablement and we found the staff attentive and also nformative about the area. The hotel is impressive, as are the grounds which are kept beautifully. All our needs were met, acted upon in a friendly manner. On the minor side but of worthy note when dining we would have preferred the option of a steak knife!!
This is one hotel which we would love to revisit. Thank you

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds, we were staying for a wedding and I found the staff very attentive at all stages during our stay. The food was very good especially the main course at the wedding reception which can be difficult to get right with numbers/timings etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed overnight at Killashee House Hotel on our way home from a tour of the West and South. The overall impression was that it was a stunning place to stay and a beautiful setting with a very interesting history attached to it. We enjoyed a pre-dinner walk in the extensive grounds, a very relaxing dinner and comfortable room. The breakfast in the restaurant was a very pleasant experience. We both agreed that it was a very fitting end to a lovely holiday and we hope to go back again.

The Hotel is a magical inside and out. The Gardens and walks are maintained in excellent bloom and the food was first class and that was only eating in Jacks Bar, will hopfully have dinner Table D'hote in the main Restuurant when we return again. We really enjoyed our stay to the extent that we stayed an extra night. We are hoping to return very soon for another few nights. One of the nicest hotels We have ever stayed in thankyou so much for the lovely break.

All the staff were amazingly nice, helpful, everything you could wish for. I've become quite critical in the last two years, primarily because of the lactose intolerance, but also because I've stayed in some really nice places. I really could not criticise anyone on this occasion. Every member of staff, from Restaurant to spa were exceptional. They made us feel special, which is what you absolutely need when you're there for an anniversary treat! The people in the spa were particularly fabulous. well done, Killashee, and thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome.

Nothing was too much trouble from the friandly reception staff, we had quite a few queries and all were met promptly and without fuss.

I recently took a group of 12 ladies to the Killashee house.
We all thought our rooms were lovely, clean and well maintained. The facilities in the hotel were fabulous. The dining was superb and the staff could not do enough for us. The Spa is beautiful and the staff there really know there business. I had fantastic treatments and walked out of there a new woman. The leisure centre was clean and well laid out. All in all I would recommend the Killashee house to friends and family to try.

I stayed for 2 nights for my brothers wedding! It was like a fairy tale! Beautiful venue, extremelly helpful staff, rooms were spotless and food was gorgous (however service for dinner was a bit slow).
The spa was exceptional, with fantastic service accompanied by complimentary drinks in the relaxation room!
For the actual wedding, Kilashee house were OUTSTANDING!! The attention to every fine detail amplified under a microscope before the big day, to facilitate exactly what the customer wanted!
All wedding guests had a weekend that will never be forgotten!

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. There was a big wedding on when we stayed but you wouldn't even know it. Dinner in Turners was great for the most part (veg with mains seemed reheated) and breakfast was superb. We can't speak highly enough about the staff who we found to be genuinely friendly and helpful. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Killashee Hotel. The Hotel the food and the facilities all excellent. We appreciated the efficient running of the hotel the cleanliness - spotlessly clean - but most of all we enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel. So welcoming and friendly. We made good of use of the gym facilities which were an excellent bonus on our stay. We will definitely be back and hope to make it a long weekend next time.

What a wonderful experience! we were offered an upgrade to a health suite which was beautiful. The room was fantastic, the view was amazing and the staff were friendly. We also attended a wedding reception at the hotel on the night and was very impressed with the hall. A great experience overall.

The bathroom floor was very dirty i.e. the floor had not been bleached for a long time - the iron did not work adequately either.
The manager did, however, provide us with a discount off the room rate. We just felt that the rate wasn't cheap and being Valentines week-end, it was unfortunate that the room wasn't up to scratch.

A really beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival which was a nice perk. As we were there for a wedding we didn't get to see as much of the hotel or the grounds as we might have if we were there on our own but the food and rooms were lovely. Very friendly and polite staff.

Our fish mains on the Friday was very poor and both ordered had to be returned. This was not a cheap meal so I really would have expected better. I would not expect to have to trek about the hotel to get to the bed rooms nor expect to have to cross a car park in the rain to the spa. The rooms were nice but I would have expected complementary water and robes or at least an umbrella to get to the spa. I would say it was over priced for what was offered.

We were quite dissapointed by certain elements of our stay...we had rang ahead for room to be ready half hour early as i had spa treatments booked but there wasn't a room ready for us (at 2.30pm!). I went to the spa for my pre booked treatments to discover thst they had booked me in on the wrong day and were booked out for the rest of the day. I had asked for directions to the spa from the receptionist and I was dfirected outside where she said it was just around the corner. However it was a five minute walk in the lashing rain. Our room was quite dissapointing too and the tv was just showing fuzz. However we ate in Jacks bar and the food was lovely and service was very good. We went into Naas and on return struggled to find car parking as there were no lights in the car park and they were all full. We eventually got parking further down and had to walk up ten minutes in complete darkness in the rain. We just didn't have a great experience and wouldn't go back. it really wasn't worth the money we paid for our stay.

We went to the hotel to relax as my wife is 8 months pregnant. We had a lovely dinner in turners restaurant . When we returned to our room we could hear loud music from a function in the hotel. I rang reception and was told the music would continue till 2:30 but was offered a cup of coffee for the inconvenience. This ruined what started as a lovely night . I asked the man on reception to note my complaint butnever heard about it again. On checking out I was too tired and angry to complain any more so just paid and left unhappy !

The spa was a lovely experience and the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The hotel was comfortable however the room was cold when we arrived as i think the radiators weren't on properly. The dining was also very well managed with efficient staff. I felt the bar was a bit all over the place with staff wandering around and hard to get their attention. It's quite a noisy room and wouldn't be somewhere I'd be very comfortable in. The area upstairs I thought would be a nice place to relax.

I had a booking in the spa for 4.30 and was told I'd be finished 6pm it was 7.30 pm when I got out as people before hand were a half an hour late which meant everyone after them was late . We had a dinner booking at 8 which then left me pushed for time.
Otherwise I enjoyed the stay the room was lovely and the bar had a nice warm atmosphere .

I had stayed at the hotel a couple of years ago where I attended a wedding and thought it was fabulous but was very very disappointed with my overnight stay last week. On arrival while booking in I asked the receptionist could I get an earlier booking for dinner in Turners restaurant and straight away she said No that the restaurant was booked out which I found very strange. Anyhow we headed up to the room and was quite disappointed with it. I feel the whole hotel needs a total revamp, everywhere needs painting especially the bathroom doors of the bedrooms. Myself and my daughter headed down to the Villa Spa and were so disappointed with the bathrobes, they were disgraceful, mine actually had holes in it and was threadbare. The relaxation room was so grubby I didnt feel comfortable at all lying on the beds. The staff however were delightful and I really enjoyed the treatments. On my way back to the room I noticed another girl on reception so I rang her from the room to see could I get the earlier booking for dinner (I just wanted to change it from 8pm to 7pm) and she said that was no problem. When we went down for dinner later the restaurant was NOT booked out so couldnt understand why the earlier receptionist could not have facilitated me. The food was lovely that night but when we went down for breakfast the next morning we received the most dreadful hot breakfast, the plate was extremely and everything on it was rock hard, the food had obviously been made earlier and was left in a hot oven. I left comments on the comment leaflet when I was leaving the hotel as I didnt want to complain in front of my daughter as it was a Xmas present for her and thought as I had left the complaints on the comment leaflet that was sufficient. Overall I was very very disappointed in my very expensive stay and unless the hotel gets a face lift I would not be returning.

We had a fabulous time. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the spa was so relaxing. The staff in both the hotel and spa were extremely friendly and accomadating! The only negative I would have would be regarding Jack's Bar, where we ate on the second night. Having been told we didnt need a reservation, we arrived down to be told there were no free tables. We felt that the manager (we presume he was the manager) wasnt very accomadating as he simply told us there was no room without offering us an alternative (eg. a seat at the bar, while we waited) or even really looking around for us. It so happened that we did spot a free table, and when we pointed it out to him he just grunted. Apart from that the meal was enjoyable and the other servers were extremely pleasant. All in all a 9 out of 10 stay!!

Villa Spa closed at 18.00 and did not open until 10.am due to christm.as week but we had not been informed of this so missed the opportunity for an early morning swim.
Would have preferred to eat in the dining room rather than Jack's Bar, however dinner was very good, rooms lovely. Will definitely return.

My stay exceeded my expectation ten fold. The room I was staying in was beautiful, the decor was so classic and was much superior to standard hotel rooms. It was individual and decorated beautifully. The hotel was so elegant and charming..I loved everything about it! It was a great winter break, with all of the snow that was there at the time, relaxing in the spa was just what was needed. I will definately be returning and recommending the hotel to as many people as I can.

We visited for a special weekend break with 9 month old son. Elegant building and grounds but overall room finish is patchy. Room fittings are standard and poorly installed. Lighting control needs attention. No fridge in our room. Food is overpriced and of poor quality. Breakfast is better avoided - we stuck to pancakes (which were actually crepes) as the hot food was dried out and very salty. We encountered some very nice staff, but this was dampened by several ill-mannered and unhappy encounters. Spa is well equipped, though the water could be a little warmer. Spa can only be accessed via car park - in poor weather this is not at all good with young children and wet hair. Overall stay was thoroughly disappointing. There is reference to 4 stars on the web - I suspect this dates to previous years when standards were apparently much higher. This is certainly not 4 star accommodation. We certainly won't be back.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. However, having stayed with you on a number of occassions in the past, we were a little dissapointed that the Nun's Kitchen is gone as the new bar, Jack's lacks the same character. Also, we found the drink prices to be very expensive, particularly €6 for a ( small ) glass of wine.
We also felt that the service in Turners restuarant had deteriorated since our previous stays, not the fault of the waiting staff, it just seemed that there were fewer staff to deal with the same amount of guests.

Myself and my 3 girlfriends had a lovely 1 night stay at the Killashee Hotel. Rooms were excellent as was our 4 course meal in Turners restaurant. We also had lunch in Jacks which was also very good. Lovely big breakfast too. Overall a really nice stay and already planning to return!

Great atmosphere, very friendly & helpful staff, food excellent (esp creme brulee!), Spa experience was wonderful and enjoyed the gardens. Only downside - our bathroom had a couple of missing tiles and I didn't enjoy all the lift rides to get to room! Will be back though.

Myself & my husband stayed at Kilashee House on Thursday 14th of October 2011 while attending a family wedding. I cannot praise all the staff we came in contact with enough, from the Reception area. the service staff at the function and also the bar staff in both the main bar & the beautiful period room where the wedding celebration was held. All staff were equally professional pleasant & helpfull. Our period style bedroom wsa also really beautiful and styled perfectally in keeping with the Country Period & History of that area of the House.
Our greatest regret was that we had to leave after a fabulous breakfast and did not have the time to walk the fabulous grounds or visit the spa which by all reports is really beautiful and luxurious. We will definately stay thee again as I really wanted to explore it more,the walks , the spa & of course the restaurant with of course a cocktail in the stylish bar which is a perfect combination of period & modern....Looking forward to spending a few days of rest, relaxation and pampering......

I had a very pleasant stay with your hotel from start to finish. Staff were just lovely, food was delicious and we got our room upgraded so obviously this turned a great stay into a fantastic one. Keep doing what you are doing because it is a beautiful hotel.

Killashee House Hotel and Villa Spa was a perfect respite for us. The surroundings were stylish and elegant, our room was spacious and well appointed, and the 2 restaurants (although quite different from one another) were charming and served delicious food. Highly recommend!

My husband and I selected Killashee House so that we would be close to family we were visiting in Naas during our vacation in Ireland, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I had heard from American friends that Killashee House was lovely...and it lived it to its billing. Everything about the hotel was wonderful--the staff, the food, the atmosphere, the grounds. After having stayed at other accommodations in Ireland before Killashee House, we were especially pleased with the large, well-appointed, luxury bathroom. At checkout we told the front desk staff that we loved our stay. Our thanks to all who served us in some way and helped make our stay so enjoyable.

The breakfast was terrific!
Thank you for quickly fixing/changing our room when we were first put in a smoking room.
Cathy who runs the hair salon is TERRIFIC!!! She is a great addition. She was so polite and helpful as members of our party made and changed appointments. She did an amazing job on my hair for a wedding.

Our stay at the hotel was just wonderful - above all, the staff are amazing (really attentive, friendly, chatty and helpful - especially the girl in reception, I think her name was Denise?? and also the lovely American lady who served us dinner in Jacks Bar). The room we stayed in was perfect, dinner was delicious (we were fit to burst after it!!), breakfast was lovely and filling, and the leisure centre was great also. We are delighted we have booked such a perfect hotel for our wedding next year.

The hotel grounds are wonderful. We stayed at the hotel for a wedding and it was so perfect. The hotel venue made the day really enjoyable, the fact that we had one room with the bar and dance floor close by for the evening made the day flow. The food was excellent with extras for anyone who could manage, which included my husband who went back for seconds of the Irish fillet steak! The staff were great - making the entire stay more comfortable, nothing was a problem and check in and check out were very quick. The rooms were outstanding, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a great weekend at Killashee and I would definately come and stay there again and would most certainly recommend the Hotel as a place to stay. The Spa was beautiful. Food in the Bar and Dinner in the Restaurant was fantastic, and service to match (considering the Restaurant was full for dinner on the Saturday night). Breakfast was great both mornings and we received excellent service from the waiters who served us... All in all, a fab weekend

We stayed for 2 nights in August. Really impressed with the service and the room. We ate in the hotel throughout the stay and were also impressed with that.
We had some very noisy neighbours on the first night and asked reception if we could be moved for the second night. We were upgraded and moved to a lovely quiet room in the old part of the hotel. We couldn't fault the way it was handled.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Killashee house once we found our way around. Our room was well up to our expectations with a nice view over the garden. We had a lovely stay in Kilashee, which started with an upgrade to a suite which was beautiful, and much appreciated! Lunch in the bar area was delicious. Likewise we had dinner in the restaurant and could not fault it, good menu and food was great. Service from all staff was excellent. The hotel was very busy as there were weddings on both days but this did not impact on us at all. Very enjoyable stay, will be back!

Best hotel ever. Anything I asked for wa not a problem. They did colour photocopying for free, printed off items I had mailed them from my laptop. The best cutomer service I have ever experienced in any hotel and a class 5 star hotel in its own right also.

The hotel staff were SO friendly and helpful, from emailing me instructions for taking public transportation from the airport to the hotel before my visit to helping me when my plane was delayed and I missed a day of my reservation to tracking down and shipping the trousers and leather jacket I had left there after I checked out. I especially appreciate all of Sandra's help, and Anita and Louise also spent a lot of time making sure everything worked out for me. Thanks!

Stayed at the Killashe House Hotel for a weekend and can't praise it high enough to be honest. I booked the hotel for a surprise weekend away to propose to my girlfriend and the setting was perfect. We stayed in the Bell Tower Suite which had a lovely view over the front lawns and drive way, room had everything we required and was beautifully furnished and was very comfortable.
The staff in the hotel were all very friendly, the food in the restaurant was beautiful and the overall atmopshere was very relaxing.
I didn't make use of the spa facilties so can't comment on those but I'd certainly recommend the hotel to anyone.

What can one say about perfection only to visit and see for yourselves,we stayed in a suite as we were attending a wedding in the hotel,the staff looked after every detail of our visit,from turning down our bed to a late snack nothing was to much for them,we have stayed in 4*and 5*hotels before but this hotel worth ever penny as they say.Thank you to all the staff for your help in making our stay so pleasent.

Morning, I was very happy with the hotel and hotel staff, the room we were given was room 180 in the old house which was beautiful, especially with the view of the gardens, this was our first weekend away in over a year as it is quite difficult to get away on our own with 2 young kids. The room made our weekend and I found the staff very friendly and helpful. We had pizza and a couple of beers in jacks bar on the friday night which was delicious and the bar staff where very friendly.On the saturday night we had a wedding there and I haven't tasted beef as good in a long time. I found the staff very efficient .Hopefully one day we can come back and stay with you.Thanks and regards, Quenton

The hotel far exceeded our expectations, the staff were so welcoming and despite the fact that they were incredibly busy (considering it was the week of the Punchestown Festival) couldn't do enough to make the trip enjoyable. Unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to eat in Turners which we will be returning to do, the smells alone were to die for. The bar food was fab and to top it off instead of the usual half decent bar singer, the gentleman who played the piano and sang was fabulous. It's hard to fault Killashee.

Thoroughly enjoyed a very short (overnight) stay at Killashee House Hotel. The surroundings were fabulous and very relaxing, the food very good, staff very friendly. My only regret was the weather was appauling and we did not get an opportunity to walk around the outside of the hotel which appears to have beautiful gardens. A definite must is a return visit for the future.

The Hotel couldn't be better. The building has been meticulously maintained and the new additions such as the bar just add to the overall experience. Even the gym is top notch - I doubt you'd get better in an Olympic village! My girlfriend loved the spa and we both felt that the restaurant was superb. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the cleaning staff deserves specific recognition – the place is spotless. I can say without hesitation that we will be returning here for another weekend.
I would rate this hotel as one of the best in Ireland.

I love Killashee House Hotel - it is one of my most favourite places to stay. I've been three times, once with my husband, once with my girlfriends for a spa weekend, and once by myself when I had an early morning appointment in Dublin the next day. The staff are just so lovely and welcoming. The dining room is just beautiful and you feel very special having dinner or breakfast there. The food throughout is excellent, the room service food is the best I've had anywhere. Everything is done with grace and style and I just feel very relaxed and taken care of whenever I'm in Killashee.

Killashee house was really beautiful. The suite in the main house where we stayed was gorgeous. The staff were lovely, the food good and I loved the Villa Spa

a beutiful hotel with friendly staff. Our rooms had 2 double beds and a nice view of the gardens. The food in the Nun's Kitchen bar was of excellent quality.

I would recommed Killashee House for a relaxing luxurios weekend. On arrival we got a room upgrade, the food was gorgeous and nuns kitchen bar had a great atmosphere with live music and the best bread and butter pudding! worth a visit...

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the moment we arrived on the friday right through to the check out process on the sunday. The food, staff, hotel itself were all excellent. There was a group of 20 of us and we didn't check out till after 2 on the Sunday. There was no one ringing us at 12.15 asking us what time we were leaving like there is in most hotels. The food was top class, breakfast, lunch and dinner all completely faultless. The spa was lovely too and the therapist i had was excellent and really knew her stuff. I will be going back here time and time again after the fab stay we had.

The room which we stayed in was really lovely - 4 poster bed and all! Breakfast was delicious. We ate in the Nuns kitchen in the evening and while the food was okay it wasn't really anything to rave about! Staff were lovely and overall I have to say I would really recommend it!

Very nice stay; requested a room in the old house but none were available that weekend so was kindly upgraded to a junior suite which an unexpected surprise. Breakfast was very nice although the evening meal in the resteraunt was pricy for what it was. Overall, great stay and value for money
