comments spent our honeymoon in the brandon tralee, staff very friendly and helpful, got what we wanted right away and the food and room service is top class. definitely one of the best hotel breaks i had, tv in the room was a wee bit old fashioned but that is a minor detail.. 10 out of 10

comments Brandon hotel location was brilliant. all staff were friendly, helpful and polite. the room was large, clean and airy, bathroom very good too. and on the first night of my stay i was pleasantly surprised by a band singing in the bar, they were very good and the atmosphere was really comfortable. i will certainly be returning to this hotel again and will recommend it to my friends.

comments My overnight stay at the hotel was perfect. The room was spacious and well fitted out. I had an enjoyabe dinner in the bar. The buffet breakfast was perfect for the quick getaway. I didn't avail of or check out the leisure centre (which the receptionist kindly drew my attention to being available) or the cooked breakfast (which the waitress helpfully reminded me was available).

comments The room was extremely dated and the bed had those old wooly blankets (my first time seeing this in a modern hotel). There is a wide choice of hotels available in the town and in future i will chose a more modern one.

comments The place is nice and you have very professional and friendly staff. The food is good. The rooms are nice, neat and comfortable, it's good value for money. However, your internet/WI-FI connection in the room is very bad. I could not logged on but overall - I would not hesitate to recommend your hotel.

comments Overall, my stay was fine. I was with a family group, 4 rooms in total - in Tralee for the funeral of my uncle. We all felt that the rooms were far too hot. In my room, the radiator was broken so couldn't be adjusted. As I suffer with MS, the heat is something that really affects me. At about midnight I could no longer stick it. I rang down to reception and explained my situation. I have to say the gentleman I spoke to was estreamly helpful. Advised he couldn't adjust the heat, but arranged to have us move to another room, where the radiator was switched off. Despite the fact that it was a smoking room (smelt bad) I was delighted as it meant i could sleep. I was very grateful to that staff member and would give him a 5/5. My sister had a 6-week old baby with her and this heat was far too much for the baby also. Not comfortable for anyone. Otherwise, rooms were adequate and fulfilled our need. The breakfast was only ok. Poor selection, more like a B&B than a hotel. I have had much better selections in other hotels, but appreciate it is off-season and therefore maybe you provide a better service in the Summer months, when it is busier. Outside the gentelman on reception that helped us, the rest of the staff were ok. Noone rude but equally noone very friendly. I didn't get to use any of the other facilities, so can't comment on those.

comments We had a wonderful stay, staff were helpful, friendly & made us feel very welcome. We had a 3 night stay and breakfast on each day were plentiful and varied. We had 1 evening meal, which was lovely. One of us are vegitarian and the staff/chef accomodated to her needs which was very good. We used the leisure centre on 2 of the days which was nice and relaxing. The jacuzzi was covered over on one of the days, but once we had the choice of using the sauna/pool or steam room it was ok. Would of prefered to be told prior to entering the area if it was not being used. Very central location which was great for getting around the town. And the private parking was an extreme benefit

comments The hotel itself is quite dark seen from the entrance. The rooms are big and well equipped, but some of the equippment (chest of drawers f.e.) should be refurbished. What continental guests miss, is a toilet brush, but this is not specific only for your hotel. The problem for guests who want to swim, is the public use of all the bathing premises. One does not feel well in getting through a mess of clothes in the changing rooms as well as the toilets there are rather unpretensious. Many greetings!

comments Enjoyed our stay. Room a bit on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. Surprised that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, however the room service was very prompt. Our evening meal and breakfast were very tasty, good menu and excellent choice. comments We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Brandon Hotel. However one difficulty we had was in the swimming pool - the lack of a kiddies pool meant that our 5 year old son and 2 yr old toddler weren't comfortable (whereas they normally love the pool elsewhere) The shallow end is over 3ft so it is both unsuitable and unsafe for children under 7 really. Otherwise the hotel is great, staff are friendly and welcoming and hotel is spotless. I would consider staying again but will have to wait at least 5 yrs !!

comments Great vaue for money in a central location.Pleasantly surprised that tea/coffee making facilities are standard unlike untrue reviews I had read. Also one of the allegegly unfriendly bar staff ran afer us in the street to return my wife's glasses she had left in the bar. He would not have known that we were residents.Enjoyed a 5 day stay there and I am returning soon. Best wishes to the Brandon and all who work there.

comments The only comment I would have to make is that there were no tea or coffee making facilitues in the room. I think that this should be a must in all Hotels regardless of the status of the bedrooms. Other than that everything was great. The staff, the food and the overall presentation of the Hotel.

comments we enjoyed our stay at the brandon. Positives include friendly staff, good breakfast and dinner and good location for town. Hotel is a bit dated, keys to room annoying to open. room was clean, no tea/coffee facilities however and there wasn't anything special about the room. The website suggests the hotel is more modern than is it. However we enjoyed our stay, enjoy a pint in o'sheas just down the road!

comments Myself and my wife stayed in this hotel on the easter weekend and on the weekend previous. The staff are brillant and nothing is a problem for them. The rooms on both weekends were large, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was great as was dinner. The gym is very large with plent of CV machines and a separate free weights area upstairs, while the pool area is also excellent. 10 out of 10
