We're very pleased with the high standard of accommodation, in fact, with the whole ambience of Loch Lein Country House. We were not able to eat at the restaurant [which we were looking forward to] but we will definitely do so when we stay there the next time we find ourselves visiting Killarney again. The proprietors were very friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for their guests.

My wife and I along with three other friends had a very nice time staying here. The view is fantastic! Annette and Paul were great hosts that made you feel at home from the minute you arrive.They gave us great advise about where to go and what to see.If you are planning a trip to this part of Irland and don't take advantage of Loch Lein Country House you are missing out. Loch Lein Country House thoroughly deserves all the 5* ratings it receives. Spacious rooms spotlessly clean, extremely friendly service, quiet location a short distance from Killarney, excellent breakfast, comfortable lounge. If you have a flat tyre, Paul will even change the wheel for you! I cannot recommend it too highly.

The facility was outstanding. The room was spacious and bright with a great view of the lake. Breakfast each morning was top flight...cooked to order and served piping hot. Paul and Annette were gracious and extremely helpful. I cannot think of a single thing I would change, except better internet service in the room...but then it wouldn't be much of a vacation. Truly an exceptional experience that I would recommend to best friends without hesitation. Great location close to all the important sights.

Beautiful scenic location within minutes of Killarney. A hot pot of tea and cookies upon settling in our room was a nice touch .
We had delicious breakfasts in the dining room which had huge surrounding windows that allowed you to enjoy the view outside.Tables were nicely set with white linen tablecloths.
Our hosts were always so willing to help with any questions or directions concerning our trip .
Our room was large and had a beautiful view of the lake. This was top notch accomodation and would highly recommend.

The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The view was breathtaking. The atmosphere was quiet and calming after a day of sightseeing. We like 'getting away from it all' when we are on vacation and tend to choose places to stay that are a bit off the beaten track.

We spent three nights end of July in this comfortable country house, in an extra large family room looking out on the beautiful garden, the lake and the hills beyond. Loch Lein is an amazing house with delicious breakfast. A perfect location for exploring the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Pauls advice on tourist information was very helpful. This was definitely one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to Ireland. Thank you once again Paul & Annette, for arranging the family room instead of two doubles. This was a perfect host in a perfect house.

From the moment we arrived at Loch Lein, a sense of peace and relaxation overtook us. During our visit to Ireland, we stayed in 6 different areas, but the Loch Lein House was our favorite by far (as well as the most reasonably priced!). The location is perfect for a base to explore a most beautiful part of the country. The rooms are spacious with a spectacular view of lake and mountains, and include many thoughtful touches to ensure comfort. Annette and Paul were so hospitable! Breakfasts were fabulous. Annette was a kindred spirit in her recommendations for 'places to go and things to do." This would be a wonderful place to hold a wedding or other function. We hated to leave, and hope to be able to return some day. Highest recommendation!!

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal in dieser bezaubernden, stilvollen Unterkunft und es wird definitv nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Gr0ße, geräumige Zimmer, perfekte Gastgeber mit Charme und Stil, man fühlt sich hier sofort wohl und zuhause. Der Frühstücksraum und dessen Aussicht auf den Park und See sind nicht zu übertreffen. Immer und jederzeit wieder, ich glaube zu behaupten, daß es eine der bezauberndsten Unterkünfte Irlands ist!

I never stay at smaller hotels for fear they are lackluster.however this hotel was charming,clean and the service was amazing! It rivalled many of the four star hotels I have stayed at in multiple countries.The property itself was just beautiful and the whole place was just calm and serene.The breakfast was so delicious adn an excellent deal considering it was included with our room rate.I hope to visit again soon and highly reccommend it!

Loch Lein is the best! Not only beautifully appointed with an excellent location, its staff is unsurpassed when it comes to customer service.
Annette, Paul, and Matthew went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect and went the extra step to help when needed.
I most certainly recommend Loch Lein as THE place to stay in the Killarney area.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Loch Lein Country House. Our hosts Paul and Annette looked after us extremely well. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the loch and breakfast was a treat. If we ever visited Ireland again we would definately stay with them.

After seeing the reviews in Trip Advisor, we were not dissapointed. Our accomodation was exceptioanl along with the food supplied.
Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel owners supplying tea as requested and laying out a table for us when we were the only ones having dinner on one night of our stay.
Would not hesitate to return if we stayed in Killarney again.

Our stay at Loch Lein country House was perfect from beginning to end. We did expect it to be very good due to numerous positive comments about Loch Lein but it was even better than expected. We arrived at the house and before we stepped into the beautiful house we were warmly welcomed by Mathew who assisted us with our bags. The view from Loch Lein is breathtaking and the gardens are so well kept with an array of colours to be seen. The rooms are so spacious, so clean and again such a beautiful view of the lake from your window. Paul and Annette, the owners are so friendly and so informative when it comes to things to do in the area. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning we stayed, great selection of food options and again fantastic service. Killarney itself is great with so much to do at your doorstep, especially when staying at Loch Lein. Bike rental is an option when staying at Loch Lein, with horse riding, golf and fishing all close by. I would defiantly recommend Loch Lein as a place to stay while in Killarney, service, staff and accommodation is excellent. We had such a great stay and would like to thank all at Loch Lein.

Everything about Loch Lien was more than we could ever wanted. The location, the scenery, the food, the accommodations, and most importantly the service were all outstanding. Whether it was serving a very late night cocktail or opening up the dining room early just for us the day we had to leave at 6am, everyone at Loch Lien went out of their way to make our honeymoon stay lovely and easy. Thank you to each and everyone there! My wife and I hope we can come back and visit you again one day!

Booked because of trip advisor plaudits and other research. Pre visit had some concerns about room being old fashioned (chairs in photos) and lack of info on web site re food. Location superb except no easy access to the lake. Owners absolutely charming and quietly efficient - felt pampered and special. Room exceeded expectations - great shower. This was our most expensive (of 7) stops but the best. Free internet access a bonus (some other places charged or offered free wifi). Dining room experience also exceeded expectations. Thank you and we will recommend to friends and endorse you on TA.

A little gem of a place to stay in a great location for exploring the area. The food was superb, and we heartily recommend staying in to eat the evening meal, the chef knows his stuff! Our room was beautiful, with views over the lake; standards of cleanliness were high and the facilities in the room excellent. But most of all our stay was so good because of the outstanding service from the owners Paul and Annette. All their little personal touches made it a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We found the propery to be well maintained and our hosts to be pleasant and full of information. The breakfast was vry well done. The location was excellent in terms of being able to head in any direction with no trouble. Two very minor things: I could have wished for better Wi-Fi coverage in our room and it would be good to have at least an option for a small refirigerator or mini-bar.

We so enjoyed our stay at Loch Lein that we extended our stay an extra night. We stayed in several B & B's during our two week visit to Ireland and we all agreed that Loch Lein is the one that we would return to on any future visit. The staff was great! They gave us great suggestions for local restaurants and pubs, served us tea and coffee in the lounge whenever we wandered in. Annette even did our laundry for us (we were desperate!). The rooms were exceptional and the view was spectacular! Loved every minute!

The Loch Lein Country House was a fantastic find and stay for our family. Nestled in the countryside along the Lakes of Killarney, the hotel exceeded our expectations in multiple ways -- for location (near the lakes and the city of Killarney), the rooms (very clean and of good quality), and the service (traditional Irish welcome). Very Clean... Great location just outside of town and a few hundred yards from the road (staying off the main road cut down on the noise tremendously). The views were some of the best out of all the places we stayed in Ireland. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Both Paul and Anette were helpful with nearby restaurant recommendations and attractions.
Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

Loch Lein was absolutely lovely. It is a lovely respite from the business around Killarney in general and close enough to everything that you can get everywhere easily. The setting is gorgeous, the owners are helpful and gracious, and the service extraordinary. Breakfasts were delicious. We only wish we could've stayed longer.

As soon as we walked in the door and looked out the window we knew that we were going to enjoy our stay at the Loch-Lein. Four days later and lots of good food in our tummies we had no reason to alter our opinion. Our stay at Loch Lein was superb! We were treated like royalty. Paul and Annette are very gracious hosts (Rosie was very pleasant too)! The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and had an amazing view of Killarney Lake.
We would stay here agin without any doubt!

As we say in Hawaii "mahalo" to Loch Lein Country House! We had a wonderful stay and only wish it were longer. I cannot say enough about our wonderful hosts and how gracious they are. my husband and i travelled to killarney for the cork kerry match last weekend and had a wonderful overnight stay in lough lein country house. we had a lovely room facing the lake. a really great breakfast and overall wonderful hospitality and attention.i only wish i could have stayed longer in this gem.carmel bolger carlow

It's a wonderful hotel with amazing hosts in a beautiful country. The rooms are the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel and Paul was so very hospitable. We still have lots of the south to explore and I'm sure we'll choose this hotel again :)

Loch Lein Country House ranked first among the six hotels my wife and I stayed in on our recent trip to Ireland. We found this hotel was excellent on every level and would recommend it to our friends. The Host was very helpful and obliging; the food was excellent and the staff extremely pleasant. The accommodation pristine.

The room and view were wonderful and the service the same! My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in the Killarney area and the help we got from Loch Lein in finding restuarants, sights and setting up our horseback riding was great. This was our first stop in Ireland and everyone was so helpful in helping us find our way and feel welcomed. Thanks so much!

Loch Lein exceeded my expectations and the owners were so accomodating and sweet. Every night we had tea brought to our room and those little touches are what make a place stand out. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Loch Lein is a superb value in the small hotel space in Ireland. We loved the spacious room and the service provided by the hosts. Of all the places we stayed during our 14 day trip, the one we would re-book first would be Loch Lein.
