comments It was next to impossible to sleep, the walls are paper thin and some guy shouted and banged on a door in the hallway for hours trying to get into some room. When we said this at the front desk the next morning the only response we got was "oh yea, I heard about that" ...

comments For the price your hotel was fantastic, i expected a real kip of a place but was impressed with the rooms and foyer area. The lifts and some of the woodwork at reception needs a lick of paint otherwise keep your prices as they are and ill be back again and again.

comments I worked in hotels for 15plus year so i know the ins and outs. I found teh girl who checked us in very friendly and very helpful but i was dissapointed a bit with the hotel, the lift was very dirty the mirror had not been cleaned in a few days and the carpet was in need of a good hovering and by the following day it was worse. The superior room was very small but clean (should not be classed as superior) the wall were in need of a rub down as there were a lot of marks and again the mirror in the bathroom was only cleaned as far as the housekeeper could reach.... We had also booked dinner for the night of our stay, the restaurant was cordened off understandably as only a few guests were dining however we were put outside the partition away hidden away from the others ???? we were not offered any drink with our dinner and were served quickly. The food was ok. That night we were woken by a drunken couple fighting which cannot be controlled by the hotel but an in all we got no sleep.

comments Stay was fine at your hotel just one issue when checking in we asked for a non smoking room which we were assigned but on entering the room the stink of cigarates from our room was really bad we asked to be changed and that was not a problem.

comments requested a superior room, as i have stayed in stanard room on other occasions and was very happy however room was not what i expected, the room was poky and curtain s were falling off the window, i felt for the sake of 10euro for some hooks for your curtain pole was lazy on the part of the hotel, had breakfast 2 mornings not to bad, although we had dinner in the resteraunt had to send sterter back pate was sour and defenitely gone off, the rest of dinner was very good and waiter was very apoligetic, im was sorry to see the stendard of the hotel going down hopefully you listen to the comments and and improve as i would have been always pleased with my stay and hopefully will be again regerds michelle

Unfortunately, we were disappointed a little bit, about the unfriendly treatment by the receptionist and regularly at late breakfast times. comments There was not enough parking space for the guests and we ended up parking in a bus bay. The breakfast was very good. I have been travelling around the UK in the past few weeks using Premier Inns and Jurys Inns and the Killarney Court certainly offered a better quality breakfast.

comments The room was great value and hotel was in a great location but unfortunately the people in the room next to us were having some sort of a party and set the fire alarm off twice and there were at least 6 people in the room who kept us up all night. It was a pity as we had enjoyed our stay up to that point. My friend is 8 months pregnant so we didn't appreciate being up all night.

comments The first room we had was a bit too warm and we couldn't open the window fully. The result was that we didn't sleep very well and woke up with a headache. Also, there was a black hair on the bathtub mat which was a bit disgusting. We came back after a week of travelling to catch a flight at Killarney Airport. Our second room wasn't as hot and we could open the window. But the towels weren't clean. There were brown stains on two of them. Overall we liked the size of the rooms and the bathrooms and the proximity to the town centre and the airport.

comments Nice welcome/departure - New rooms very nice - food OK - Bar staff not very nice (change from the last time we were here) asked to turn up the sound on TV after Irish match so that we could hear what the panel had to say about match - told music was on?????? the bar staff may not have an interest in the Irish team but as we are Irish we had - others came to the bar and asked for channel to be changed - told music on?????? - we finish drinks and left.

comments Mostly enjoyed my stay in the hotel . I just have a few comments to make. Reception staff told us it was a five minute walk to the town centre ( it was really 15mins) - also asked about what Italian restaurants are in Killarney, he didn't even give us a name , just said that it was the left hand side of the street ( what street? we spent 20 mins trying to locate any italian restaurant). Also I would also suggest that staff put more than 2 teabags in the room. Paint work on the outside of the hotel very tired and worn looking. The windows also are in need of a good clean - especially at the reception area. One good point I would like to make is that the breakfast / dining staff are very professional and polite. Also the breakfast is good value.

comments During our stay here we felt it was enjoyable and staff were friendly. Our meals in the restaurant were lovely and food prepared well and nice size portions. The pub had a nice friendly atmoshphere and good service. The rooms (standard double) were clean and tidy. I would suggest changing the mattresses. They were not as comfortable as I was hoping for and 4 pillows in total available would be nice. Overall we had a very nice experience and would stay there again and recommend this hotel to others.

comments My wife and I recently stayed at the Killarney Court Hotel for a weekend to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, I decided to book one of the superior rooms and organise flowers and a bottle of wine on our arrival as a suprise for my wife. On arrival to check in the girl at reception was very friendly and asked us about our stay, when I told her why we were there she congratulated us and joked that we were on a second honeymoon, it was a lovely touch. The room was lovely, very modern but comfortable with a large bathroom that had both a bath and a walk in shower, which my wife wanted to take home! After freshening up we had some food in the bar, which was excellent and again the staff were welcoming and friendly. The following morning as a treat we had breakfast in bed and then strolled into town, about 10 minutes and had dinner in the restaurant which was first class, our only gripe was the atmosphere and lighting more breakfast room rather than restaurant. Overall it was great, great value, great room, great staff, great food, great weekend and my wife loved the flowers!

comments The rooms were fine but very small and very badly decorated. Housekeeping was ok. A dirty glass on the bedside locker was not removed. Breakfast was not very good. Toast was thrown in on top of hash browns in the fried food section. No facilities to make your own toast. Very limited selection of breads, pastries, cereals fruit etc. Dinner was nice. Bar was nice. Staff friendly enough.

comments We came to Killarney for a short break in August as a base for touring County Kerry and for walking and climbing McGillicudy's Reeks. We had booked a superior room and it certainly lived up to our expectations, spotlessly clean, everything we required and a HUGE comfortable bed!!! We had a brilliant time. All the staff we encountered (Reception, Housekeepers, Restaurant and Bar Staff) performed their duties in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. We would recommend the Killarney Court and will return given half a chance! Some of the reviews we read on Trip Advisor were not very complimentary - Rubbish - glad we didn't take them seriously. To all the staff at Killarney Court keep doing what you're doing, we loved our stay, it was perfect!!!!!

comments I have already completed a comment form at left it in the comment box at reception. The bathroom in the room i stayed had a very bad smell the entire time we were there. The shower did not drain properly and as aresult we stood in waste water while showering. The night we arrived our room card holder stated check out day as one day earlier than booked. We rang reception and the lady said it would be fine. However our key card did not work twice the next day. On the second occasion that I went down to reception to get it fixed there was no one at reception. After speaking to the bar man he said the sign to direct guests to bar was not put up. I completley understand that the hotel must check and clarify guests names that request their key card to be fixed but it did not add to our experience in the hotel as we had previoulsy tried the day before to clarify the check out date. We will not be returning to the hotel. The website pictures are indicative to a modern, clean and newly decorated hotel but obviously this only applied to the lobby and paint in the hall ways and rooms. The room was smelly and furniture old. When we came back to our room our window was open which might suggest the lady who cleaned the room thought the same. We were very dissapointed at the standard especially as during our holiday around Ireland we stayed in clean modern and fresh smelling places all cheaper than the Killarney Park Hotel.

comments we had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and the room was spacious and very comfortable however when we went for a meal in the hotel restauraunt we were served our dinner on a cold plate. this in my opinion was a let down for me. Food was good other than stated issue. We would reccomend the hotel to friends and also we would stay again with ye when going away for a weekend in the future.

comments We were very disappointed with our stay, first impressions of our room were a stale smell and a carpet that needed cleaning. The bathroom was fine but the bed was shorter that normal. The bar was filthy, floor needed sweeping, chopping boards looked old and dirthy and the decor in particular the ceiling looked like something that wasnt finished off properly. Breakfast was poor as in tables were laid without serviettes and there were no plates and tongs for handling the cold meat and cheese buffet on both mornings. Food was ok. Overall very disappointing in a town with so many hotels and such competition.

Well just one thing and that is that in our hotel guide in our room there was a pamphlet which gave a menu for Mcginnintys bar/restaurant downstairs.....when we went down there Sunday evening we couldn't getting anything like the toasties or steak etc because all they where offering was carvary food that had looked like it had been there all evening

comments I stayed for one night as a single occupant in a double room which had been upgraded. I found the room of good size with a well appointed and sizeable batchroom. The quality was top notch. The room was very quiet. There was a very good choice for the brakfast buffet. I found the reception staff very helpful and friendly. I would stay at the Kilarney Court Hotela gain when in Kilarney.

comments My girlfriend and I stayed a Saturday night and on arrival first impressions were impressed. The room was clean. We dined at the restaurant and the food was average. On return to our rooms in the early hours we found the banging of doors to be most annoying and the couple next door having a loud domestic the last thing my girlfriend and I wanted to hear, and this after the night porter asked them to keep the noise down after we had to call the front reception. So come the following morning after a bad nights sleep and an entourage of cleaners working early...well what can i say...and breakfast was again average...and yes i know its a 3 star hotel but the very least one is entitled to is a bit of relaxation which most definitely is not the case in this instance, so with that i will not be staying here again. I have and will not recommend this establishment as a place to stay.

comments We availed of the deal 'Pay now and save' and found it to be great value. The hotel is very clean and comfortable within walking distance from the centre. We were upgraded to a superior rooms with very good facilities (including ironing board) and were very impressed. We also enjoyed the cosy bar on site and found the staff helpful. We will consider staying at the Killarney Court again when in Killarney.

comments the only problem with the hotel was the room door, the lock was very damaged and we could open it fom the outside using a menu card so I did not feel safe and was worried about my belongings being left in the room. We did report it to the reception and they said they would get somebody up to look at it but no one ever came up about it. So we were bringing our money and personal items with us when we were leaving to go anywhere which we were not happyn about doing.

The room was also tatty,furniture badly marked and in a very poor state of repair. I returned to reception and asked for a refund as I did not want to stay. they accecped that the heating was off in the rooms but did not accect that they were tatty. I received a refund and left.

comments we booked a new year break which included cabaret and dinner on new year, the dinner was fine dining roon very cold though and i had to ask for heater to be put on the cabaret was 2 men singing god only knows what in the bar so quiet dissapointed in that. we ordered breakfast in bed for new years day and it was very dissapointing. the toilets wouldnt flush and no water in taps on new years day, reception said it was because of weather so we had to use toilets in reception.

comments The chambermaid called to clean the room/make the beds on our first day however we advised we would not be leaving the room until late afternoon. She said that she would call back at 3pm to make the bed/change the towels and we said that was fine. We arrived back to our room at 5pm and the bed sheets & towels had not been changed. I went to reception and advised the girl at the desk and she advised that all the chambermaids were gone home. She said we could wait in the room or in the bar and she would try to get it sorted. After an hour we returned to the room and nothing had been done. We then made the bed ourselves which we did not mind however we had no clean towels. I did not really bother me however i don't see why the receptionist could not have come back to advise us what was happening. I am aware that the chambermaids need to finish work at some stage however i believe it would be a good idea to have a member of staff who can do housekeeping after 5pm. Good Customer service is vital for every business espically the hospitality sector in the current econimic climate and i believe that the service we received from reception left a lot to be desired. If she had told us nothing could be done we would have accepted this however to say that she would try to get it sorted and not revert to us was totally unacceptable.

comments This hotel was really nice to saty in. We had a beautiful room really nicely decoratee with a fabulous ensuite. Breafast in the moring was gorgeous with a full irish breakfast in a buffet style, whicj was brillant because you could take as much as you wanted. It was a bit out of the town but a taxi service was available. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My only comment with be that on our first night a group of tourist took over the bar and started playing music while all the rest of us were trying to watch a rugby match, we had to leave and go in to town. Otherwise it was a beautiful stay and would recommend it to anyonee.

comments The room was superb. We chose the nicer rooms to stay in - their new section of the hotel. The shower is AMAZING! I want to install one like that in my home. The pub food was good. Only serves food until 9pm, but drinks are served until 3am! Parking was easy. The only difficulty with this hotel was the location. It was a short distance from the center of Kilarney's town area. Have to take a taxi in the winter time! It is cold! Otherwise, if going during the summer - walking is fine.

comments Stayed in the Killarney Court Hotel Early May, Staff and Rooms alike where top Quality. Hotel was very well located about 10 mins walk from Killarney centre and also on the road to the Ring of Kerry! Full Irish Breakfast more then we expected and perfect to set you up for a full day out! Had dinner in the bar each night, again staff were friendly and welcoming and Food georgous!! Rooms are ample size and well equipt, with Hairdryer, iron, Tea and Coffee making facilities and the bathroom was full of supplys, such as shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to reccommend the Killarney Court Hotel to anyone! Deffinatley made we want to experience Kerry again.

comments Overall, the stay at the hotel was pleasant. It has a very nice bar and the lobby is spacious and kept very clean. The room and ensuite were quite large. The bed was very comfortable, however the furniture is starting to show its age. The hallway walls to the first floor rooms were a bit rough in preparation for painting as the hotel is undergoing renovations. In general, I would recommend this hotel for value, service and amenities.
