We had an excellent stay at Kenmare Bay Holiday Homes. The house was to a very high standard, anything you would possibly need was already in the house, it was very clean with loads of fresh towels. The house is only 2 minutes walk from town center-which is perfect. We had dinner in the hotel on the first night, staff were very friendly and helpfull and food was very very nice. Overall a very enjoyable stay and hopefully we will be returning in the near future.........................

The homes were lovely and we really enjoyed our stay but the showers in all four houses we had booked were very disappointing. There was no water pressure & the water barely trickled out. There was an oven in one of the houses that wasn't working, which resulted in some of our guests leaving without breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay and the kids loved it. The houses are great - very well equiped and furnished. Staff very friendly. Only small negatives would be the bar in the hotel is too small as are the changing areas in the leisure centre! Overall though highly recommendable.

Over all I would say that the holiday and homes and hotel facilities are very good, exceptionally well placed for town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Small gripes were missing inner door shelf in fridge but otherwise good value for money and of high standards

We've stayed at Kenmare Bay Holiday Homes several times and really enjoyed this return trip. The hotel has good facilities and is very welcoming. The holiday homes are well presented and very comfortable. Our three young children were made to feel very welcome too. The only thing I would say is that we've always found them far too warm! We hope to return at the same time next year.

Very satisfied, lovely clean mid-terrace house. Was surprised at all the extra supplies such as wash-up liquid, dishwasher tabs etc and every piece of delph, cutlery you could wish for including a toast rack. When we asked for a stairgate, it came within a few hours and was fitted extremely safely to the top of our stairs. Would also like to mention the caretaker who fitted it and helped us with our heating. I would have no hesitation recommending the holiday homes to friends.

Holiday Homes were fantastic. The are modern and very clean. Everything you need is provided. I travelled with my young son and the home had everything I could possibly need. The log fire was a nice touch too. Plenty of towels, extra bedding and coffee, tea, shampoo etc. Only disappointment for me was I missed out on taking my young son to their pool as childrens hours start after 10 am which is a pity as young children are up early! Otherwise I loved it and was very close to town.

Holiday homes were beautiful and spotlessly clean and fantastic. Only comment I have is about the swimming pools, the adults pool was cold but so was the babies, to the point that our 10 month old (who goes swimming every week), could only last in the water for 10 minutes (and she had a swim body warmer on), where it was so cold - very dissapointing.

Kenmare Bay Holiday Homes offered spacious comfortable accommodation, perfect for holidaying with kids.The holiday homes are located convenient to the Leisure and pool facilities where there is a generous kiddie pool. The garden behind the house was ample for two 8 and 4 boys for football.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kenmare, the house was superb. spacious, clean and we found lots of thought had been put into the extras in the house- it was fantastic that a safe gate was there for the top of the stairs, an ironing borad and iron, even enough dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets to get us trough our four day stay. i would also like to say that the staff in the hotel were extremely helpful with any enquires we had, and Lisa on reception was fantastic.

We had an incredible time at Kenmare Bay. We stayed in a Holiday Home that was very clean, quiet and well stocked. We loved the access to town down the path and the small green garden in the back of the house for our kids to play. We would definitely stay at Kenmare Bay again!

We booked this hotel based on its family friendliness. The holidays homes suited our needs perfectly. The pool nearby was good, and the play room was useful at times. However the equipment was not maintained, the play ground was very limited and the was a better one near Supervalu, and the play area in the dining room was across the room from the breakfast area and somewhat unfeasible to be used. Overall I wouldnt think there was enough to separate it from a nice holiday home with nearby facilities to warrant us selecting it over other destinations in future. A little additional attention to really attract families would make a must destination for people all over the country.

Holidays Homes were fabulous, would definitly recommend and stay again. Staff at reception of hotel were very helpful and dinner in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was ok, have had better. The only problem we had with the holiday home was the heating, which could not be adjusted unless you contacted reception, and which there was no need for anyway. But overall, fabulous place to stay and would have no real complaints.

OUr stay at the Kenmare Bay Hotel self-catering units was fabulous. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating, the units themselves were laid out to the highest standards of comfort and cleanliness. We couldn't have asked for better. I would have highly recommend these units to young parties and to families as everything was provided including stair gates, travel cot and a full range of kitchen utensils.

We were attending a wedding on Friday night which was wonderfull, the service was excellent and your staff could not do enough for us. Unfortunately on Saturday night a hen party were staying in the two houses adjacent to us. They were up until 4am in the back garden of their house which ment we were kept up too!! I rang reception twice as it took the night porter two attempts to get the message accross to keep the noise down. Although the house was well equiped and perfectly located very near the main hotel building and within walking distance of Kenmare town I do not think I will stay there again.

We the Murphy Family had a most enjoyable stay at the Kenmare Bay Holiday Homes, staying in one of the three bedroomed holiday home, which we found to be beautifully decorated, immaculate condition, and including all necessary items to make our stay a home away from home. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The leisure centre was great especially as the weather was not in our favour, lots of showers! Will hopefully stay again some time soon.

We stay in self catering accommodation at least twice a year and these houses were, by far, the nicest we have ever stayed in. The infromation on the web site described the holiday homes exactly and it was great to be able to use the pool.

Coming from the U.S. and never having been to Ireland before I was advised by my dear friend on which area I would most appreciate. Kenmare was it. I was able to book my reservations for a Holiday Home right online. The website was incredibly helpful and all info and photos were 100% accurate. The holiday home far exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful and a mini vacation home. It was incredibly peaceful yet accessible to all of the amenities one would want while on holiday. I have been home one week now and STILL miss Kenmare and the Kenmare Holiday Home..I highly recommend and cannot wait to get back there again!

We (2 couples) had a great stay at the Kenmare Bay Holiday Homes, the house was lovely, bright rooms, with comfy beds, nice kitchen with all mod cons, lots of spare towels and bed linen. Very near Kenmore Town. If I had to make a critism I would say the child gate on the stairs was quite dangerous for adults and could not be removed, it would be great it this gate was taken off when the house was booked by adults only.

The house was lovely on first impressions however the cleaniness of the house itself on closer inspection was very poor, especially the toilets and showers. The ensuite shower was completetly blocked with hairs making it impossible to use as the tray was just filling up with water. Pretty disgusting really and very off putting. Stair gates were provided however were not fitted and when we tried to fit them ourselves it was impossible. We attended a family wedding there which was very enjoyable however the food was overcooked. The other thing which is particulary annoying is that you cannot control the temperature in your own house and a note to contact to reception is not really an acceptable solution when you're too warm in the middle of the night. I doubt very much I'd reccommend it as a place to stay.

my family and i had a wonderful stay at the kenmare bay holiday homes.we stayed in alot of selfcatering holiday homes in the last couple of years but these houses top them all in every area.The staff were very helpful in every way to us and the facility for the kids were top class.I would like to thank everybody in the kenmare bay for everything for makeing our stay a good one and just to say we will be going back thanks.

Thank you. I have recently spent a weekend at one of your holiday homes. I was delighted with all aspects of the holiday home. It was clean and fully equipped with all requirements for a family holiday. I also used the Kiddies Club and my children were very happy with it.
If I were to offer one note of dissatisfaction, it is with the restaurant in the hotel. I found the prices exorbitant and while originally willing to dine there, I was unwilling to pay the prices required. However, there are plenty of restaurants nearby who offer very good food at reasonable prices.

We stayed in a three bedroom holiday home in late January. The heating had not been on in the house before we arrived and therefore the rooms were very cold. We immediately lite a fire, purchasing coal from the local petrol station and it took three hours to get the rooms adequately heated. We would normally expect the house to be kept at a reasonable temperature for visitors.
One of the legs on the glass table in the sitting room was broken and therefore the table was a safety hazard, particulary with young kids that could have leaned against it.
The heating system in the shower in the main bathroom was not working - only cold water coming through.
The homes are well stocked with utensils.
Overall the homes need a little investment to bring the equipment contents back to working order - if this does not happen before the busy tourist season, we are certain that there will be a lot of negative feedback from customers.

I stayed in the hotel in Jan 2010 with some friends for a weekend break. It was absolutely brilliant, rooms were spacious and clean, and we were given adjoining rooms. Service was excellent, staff very helpful. Location is perfect. Didnt have dinner in hotel as wanted to try some other restaurants in the town. But breakfast was very good, huge variety and large clean dining room. Will stay there again.

homes were ok. had to pay 30.00 euro on departure for utilities. definitely did not use 30.00 euro worth on top of the 349.00 already paid. Bar in hotel was small and unsatisfactory. Wouldnt stay here again

The facilities such as the gym and the pool were great. Would highly recommend for either families or couples. We will definitely be back

Did not receive a very warm welcome on arriving at reception but issued with a list of items contained in house to be checked (almost felt like a criminal!) Fridge was not working and when I reported it, a gentleman came to look at it and that was the last i Heard. My only other contact with anybody was a brown envelope left in the door telling me to fill out check list and to be sure to leave in time! We did a day early!

The holiday homes has everything we needed and more. They even supplied things you don't normally get like washing up liquid, dishwasher and washing tablets and cloths, tea towels etc. They were also very close to town. Walking distance even for our small children. Very pleased.

Very nice spacious rooms with lovely garden and even little things such as washing up liquid, clothes and dishwasher tablets were provided. Small play area and swimming pool were great for children but lodeges may not be the best place for toddlers as the presses, cooker and fridge are very low down.

The lodge we stayed in was very comfortable and well equipped. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us. The leisure centre was lovely and the staff again very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Kenmare and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our washing machine and it was repaired promptly. The apartment was lovley, clean and spacious. We would have loved to stayed longer. Highly recommend this hotel/resort other travellers.

I recently booked 3 of the Kenmare Bay Hotel Holiday Homes for my sisters hen party. They were exactly as stated on the site. The were spotless and had all the extras that we needed. The staff were fantastic and the heating was even on when we arrived on Friday evening. We were late leaving on Friday with the usual hangovers and there was not fuss of charge over this. Overall everybody was delighted with the accommodation and staff.

We had a great stay at Kenmare Bay Holiday Homes. The houses are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. They really are as good as they look in the photos on the website. All mod cons to hand and all kitchen utensils provided. Location is perfect as just a short stroll into the town. Will definitely return in the future.

We stayed in a Holiday Lodge - as my kids said on entry.."this is nicer than our own house!". Very well equiped with what you need for a few days, good standard of cutlery/equipment e.g, Newbridge cutlery etc and very spacious.

The home was beautiful and very comfortable. The only critisism I would have is car parking, we had an allocated space which was taken when we came back from a day out with our baby boy. it was lashing with rain and the staff could not find out who was parked. There was a space a few houses down but was very tight due to people parking over the lines and hard when you have a baby to manoever.

Excellent accommodation living up to its 5 star rating. Leisure facilities excellent and customer service was second to none. Location provided a great starting point for exploration of all the Kerry peninsulas. Would recommend Kenmare Bay very highly.

I was very impressed with this hotel with regard to both accommodation & staff. We booked at 2 bed lodge and altough we did not have our children with us we would definitely book for the family next time. Great facilities at hotel and also literally 5 mins walk from Kenmare itself perfect!!!

The 3 bed house was clean and well furnished. The kitchen had everything provided. With 2 children it was much more comfortable and flexible than hotel rooms.
The swimming pool was a big plus.

The holiday home exceeded our expectations as it was equipped to a very high standard with everything we needed to keep three kids happy duringa very wet week. The kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed and the TV's in each room meant that we could get peace and quiet when we needed it.
The swimming pool was great and the boys loved the kids club

Very modern clean accomadation with every thing provided! Nice touch to leave tea/coffee etc. Within walking distance of Kenmare so we could leave the car as parking in Kenmare was not easy! Use of hotel leisure centre was excellant.

We stayed in the 5*cottages which were gorgeous,decor beautiful and well equipped.Good to have use of hotel facilities as well,our son loved the pool which was a decent size unlike some hotel pools.Very conveniently located for Kenmare town centre which is only a 5min walk away.Highly recommended!

House was excellent - probably best self-catering we have stayed in. Noise from other gueste was a problem on weekend nights in particular with party until 2-3 AM both nights. This should be controlled by hotel.
