We note your comments regarding your recent stay at this hotel and we wish to clarify one or two points you had issue with. At approx. 10.30 we were approched by some members of your party who wished to order food and we politely told them our hotel food was finished but offered sandwiches or wraps. This was to their satisfaction so we served freshly made toasted sandwiches. Later that night at approx. 12.45 a gentleman carrying a large bag of takeaway food came into the bar and we asked if he would not mind eating it outside in Reception. As far as we were concerned that was the end of the matter. As you can appreciate from the hotel points of view we are in the business of selling food and drink and on the direction of the hotel owners we do not permit people to consume food and drink on the premises that have not been purchased on the premises.

We are in receipt of your comment posted on Book Assist on 10th August 2009. We were disappointed to learn that the waitress who served you at breakfast was discourtious to you and this matter has been dealt with internally, On a point of clarification breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10.00am. This information is available in the Guest Information Booklet which is available in the bedroom. Also if a resident requests a late breakfast, we accommodate them in the bar up to 12 noon. We hope you got home safe and we would like to thank you for staying at the hotel.
