The hotel could do with refurbishment, painting etc. Otherwise fine hotel, staff very courteous, food very good. |

The hotel itself was beautiful.The reception area was spacious and perfectly maintained,however the staff on reception that afternoon were not that friendly or helpful.The bedrooms were quiet large and impecibly kept.Food-wise we were not able to avail of the services-soup & sandwiches were all that were available that night in the restaurant and the room service menu was not available for that night we were told,considering they offer a 24hour room service facility,we found that a bit strange..therefore we found ourselves having to leave the hotel for an evening meal!The residents bar was very quaint with live music & dancing.The staff couldnt do enough for us.Considering I work in the front office area of a three star hotel myself, I may have been a bit too judgemental about certain area..but i know for definate if I acted in the same manner as the receptionists I would not have my job for very long!!All in all it was a pleasurable stay made up mainly by the bar staffs welcoming nature & I would recommend it to others...Just dont be put off by the initial welcoming!!!! |

i believe the check in time of 16-00 is far too late to gain access to your room and that combined with standard 12-00 check out i just feel you are losing too many hours on the late check in policy. leisure facilities were superb with a lovely WARM pool which was a welcome change from other hotels. the residence bar was also very enjoyable with the inclusion of entertainment from approx 12-30 til the small hours. |
