comments It was a little hard to find in the dark but well worth it. Very nice, roomy. It really was only a few minute walk to the center of town. Have recommended Foleys to friends already.

comments Foleys is ideally situated in the centre of Kenmare. The room was very comfortable and clean and even though we were on the first floor, the noise from the entertainment below was no problem. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We shall certainly be staying again. Thankyou for a very pleasant stay.

comments Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean, nicely decorated and we had everything we needed. Food (both breakfast and dinner) was very good. Nightly music sessions were most enjoyable and the townhouse was perfectly located centrally within Kenmare. Although there was no private parking for residents, there was plenty of onstreet parking so we never enountered any difficulty. Overall, based on our experience, we would gladly return and happily recommend Foleys townhouse for accommodation and food.

comments We loved Foley's! Was a little worried at check in because basically they just gave us the key and no information. But it was great! Came and went as we pleased. Pub was great for food, beer and music. Music ended at 11;00 each night so it didn't keep up awake. Rooms clean and renovated...needed dust ruffle on bed as box spring showed. Great water pressure in shower! No on site parking, but plenty of street parking. Breakfast was wonderful! Highly recommend if you want a experience staying above a pub. Great location!!!

comments The rooms were up-to-date, clean and had all the bathroom amenities in the room. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and the entertainment at night was the best in town. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

comments We stayed at Foleys for three nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were excelent. Patrick and Marion were wonderful made us feel at home. Lovely people who know how to look after their guests well. Patrick cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning and their is great food served in the bar each day till late in the evening. Live music every nite with a wonderful atmosphere. Kenmare is a lovely location for a holiday and must see is the Beara Peninsula thanks to Marion and Patrick for the tips on the the best route to see the Heley Pass!!!! Cant say enough good things about this place. Wish Patrick and Marion all the best in the future and thanks again for a wonderful few days. We will definitely be retutning for a visit to Foleys.

comments We had a wonderful stay in Kenmare and in Foleys Townhouses. We were travelling with our 19 month old daughter and the house really did have all the comforts of home. It was spotless and very well equipped with loads of space. It was very convienient to the town of Kenmare and had a shop and two hotel resteraunts on the doorstep. I would definitly recommend this accomodation.

comments Ideal central location, in the midst of it all. Very prompt efficient booking. we were able to park just around the corner on the road which was ideal. Our room faced the front & i forgot to close the window so there was some noise, but once I closed it, there was no problem. Great night in the bar full of friendly characters. Thanks

comments Stayed for 2 nights with the special which included a great evening meal....travelling with my mother so always a concern re accommodations up to par....No worries here. Lbreakfast. fab breakfast and Patrick was the perfect host! Entertainment was very good in 2nd night...first night father and son duo not the best but still had a super stay and will be back! Hopefully with my mother again Gods will she will remain healthy....

comments Very warm welcome, asked for extra cot - not a problem, room very spacious and clean, piping hot water and power shower, very helpful with booking a taxi and finding a spare key. Breakfast was super - one person taking ordersand cooking and he was as fast and efficient as an army of staff. Helped with high chair for baby and toasted gluten free bread. Good coffee too.

comments My brother and I had a lovely three-day stay at Foleys in Kenmare. The location was perfect, on a charming street in the middle of town. The Irish breakfast was hearty, and the evening entertainment with a live band playing Irish music in the ground floor pub was a lot of fun. We could hear it in our room on the first floor, but it didn't bother us at all (we enjoyed the atmosphere). The room looked like it was recently renovated and in very nice condition, as was the bathroom. That's why I'm giving the highest, #5 rating.

comments We booked last minute for a funeral and had half an hour to get ready. Foleys provided us with sandwiches even though they were closed to the public. The room was first class with very smart bedding and the chef the next morning served the finest poached eggs I have ever eaten. Foleys is well recommended by me

comments On arrival we were all very impressed with the standard of accomodation in the Ardmullen Townhouse. It was a real home from home and very spacious and comfortable. Kenmare made an excellant central location for exploring Co. Kerry. It also provided an excellant choice of restaurants, bars with live music and plenty of shops to keep 4 girls very happy ! The Irish people were also fantastic and very friendly.We will certainly return and will recommend Foley's to family and friends.

comments A comfortable, clean, modern, well-equipped house with plenty of space. Set in a picturesque and peaceful estate on the edge of town but only a few minutes walk away from the shops and bars - perfect. The only reason I can't give 5/5 is because we only had the promised internet connection for the first day, which was a shame as we were new to the area and would have liked to do more info gathering on places to visit. Otherwise could not fault it and would highly recommend.

comments We stayed in the Ardmullen town houses and I must say it was a home away from home. We had a fabulous time, with everything we needed in the houses. The location of the houses is perfect just a ten minute walk from town, but en route you have a shop, pub and a lovely place for breakfast (all in for in for €6) if you are feeling lazy! We also found the location so central for travelling around Kerry, with loads to do in the surrounding area. If you are looking for luxury accommodation, central location and having everything on your doorstep, Foley's town houses are the place to stay.

comments The room was very nice and clean with modern decor. However, it was a little noisy from outside but that finished up quite early and I appreciate there isn't much you can do about it. Also I hadn't noticed when booking that there are very steep stairs up to the accommodation upstairs. The guy at reception carried up our bags for us which was great but it was still steep! I have to say that the breakfast wasn't very good. There wasn't much choice and the fry wasn't great - maybe leave out the potatoes.

comments Mr. Foley is the most hospitable person we have come across in Europe. He tries to make sure your stay is a good one and is willing to go above and beyond to help you with your accomodation needs. When we return to Ireland, we will definitely stay at Foley's Townhomes again. We also think Foley's Pub and Restaurant has the best Fish and chips in town. comments Foley's is a lovely guest house right in the center of town. It wasn't listed in the guidebooks, but it was in nearly every picture I saw of Kenmare, so I looked it up. The prices were good, the rooms were nice, the beds were piled with duvets, and everything was very clean. We were treated with kindness and enthusiasm by everyone at reception as well as the server at breakfast (who must sleep there because we saw him every day). Kenmare itself is -- hands down -- the best place to stay to explore Killarney National Park, which is about 1/2 hour away, and the Ring of Kerry. It was one of my favorite stops in Ireland.

comments Nous avons été déçu par notre passage au Foley's Townhouse car mis à part l'accueil agréable, les prestations étaient moyennes au niveau de l'hôtel et très moyennes au niveau restauration (petit déjeuner incomplet : pas de chocolat chaud .; pas de pancakes ....dîner : pas de early menu, pas de moules comme indiqué sur les guides et en dessert éviter les crêpes ... bref c'était moyen ...

comments I realy enjoyed my stay..but for one thing. We had a meal included in our stay, so when i went to order from the menu, we were told we had to order off the menu white page with a bit of plastic on it, and not off the menu that had more of choice...looked like the poor relations having dinner..i'm sure it would not break the bank,to use the same menu, stayed a a hotel this weekend, didn't have that problem. Come on Foleys, smarten up!

comments The location was good,it was on the main street of the bustling town. Anyone there for a relaxing break might find it a little noisy at night. The rooms were nicely decorated and the staff very friendly, the bar downstairs served delicious food and they had live music on the saturday night which as very enjoyable.

comments The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. The room was comfortable, and well decorated but somewhat noisy from the late night pub crowd on the street outside (as late as 3am). However, the location was great for Kenmare shopping, and as a hub for exploring the area.

comments This was a great room and the staff was very helpful and accomadating. We had to leave early for the Ring of Kerry and the chef brought up a tray of breakfast goodies without us asking! Very nice folks.

comments Great place to stay in a lovely town. Patrick the owner was the nicest man I ever met, so helpful and friendly and good crack! Live band in the bar Saturday night and the place was buzzing! Had a fab meal in the restaurant as well. Room was fine, the shower was abit hit & miss at one stage but that was only a minor thing! Would highly recommend Foleys.

comments warm welcome very helpful owner and staff. Rooms very comfortable and well decorated. Meals were fine and with a good atmosphere. Not suitable for disabled or those who have difficulty with stairs
