We did have a problem that night some motor went in the boiler we got our plumber straight away & it was sorted. We apologised about this. Very sorry again. Glad that you did enjoy your stay & hopefully we will see you again.

comments Lovely rooms, helpful and courteous staff, great food and cold Guinness... we could not have asked for more from Davitt's. Located in the heart of Kenmare, a charming little harbor village, Davitt's is the perfect place to prepare for -- and recpver from -- your harrowing journey along the Ring of Kerry's cliffs and the Gap of Dunloe.

comments Accomodation centrally loacated. Very clean and comfortable. Food excellent in the retaurant/bar. Service friendly and helpful. Only downside, no parking available so had to park on the street, and there was some noice from a vent outside through the night. Would definately reccommend it and stay again.

comments Wonderful stay. Our rooms were on the top floor, and were bright, spacious and very clean. The location was extremely convenient - there is offsite parking, and we were able to easily walk to the shops and pubs. Despite being in town, we were not disturbed by any street noises. Breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated that we did not have to commit to a time for breakfast the evening before. We did not eat dinner at the restaurant, but did have a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

comments We had a wonderful stay at Davitt's. The room was large and comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious. The location was the best. We will certainly return on our next visit. We have already recommended Davitt's to other travellers!

comments I was very impressed during my stay. I booked a single room but was given a double. I wasn't going to argue! Room was very neat and clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. I appreciated that the Full Irish breakfast could be had at no extra cost to the normal continental breakfast. Would happly go back there again.

comments We had a great time staying with you at Davitts. We had the whole top floor at the front, the room was huge, decorated beautifully and to a high standard. It was very quiet and relaxing as it is not above a late night pub playing music till the small hours. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful, accommodating to our every need. We also ate in the restaurant that evening. The menu was exactly what we were looking for, traditional simple food done exceptionally well and good value too. The only thing being that I believe that chef that evening seemed to have an unhealthy love of pepper, the amount on the peppered steak was far too much. I understand it’s a peppered steak but no other flavour could be tassted. We spent one wonderful day and night in Kenmare at the start of a longer trip to Ireland and I would definitely recommend Davitts to anyone, if they’re looking for a nice quite affordable guesthouse/B&B. Thank you all for making our stay in Kenmare so nice.

comments We loved our stay at Davitts. Nice quiet place with great breakfast and friendly staff. Enjoyed a nice midweek break in May. Would suggest to anyone touring Kenmare area. The staff were always helpful...wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks-Charla in NC.

comments Davitts was one of the best places we stayed in 5 weeks. The room was lovely, loft windows, light & airy, Comfortable beds with lovely colour scheme. The bathroom was spotless & had everything you could need. The position was amazing, right on the street, with beautiful colourful shops & at night, you could just stroll next door to eat or eat & be entertained at one of the pubs, a couple of paces away. Brecky had all the trimmings, & I enjoyed the porridge & the fresh bread choices. My only reservation in recommending this is that I hope that doesn't mean it will be booked out next time, because that's where I would stay again!

comments Our room was sunny and very tastefully furnished and decorated; the bath felt luxurious. The staff was so friendly and gracious. Our stay was very memorable.
