Disappointed that I made 2 appointments with Beautican and she failed to turn up or cancel appointment despite taking my mobile number. Everything else was perfect and staff at hotel were very pleasant and helpful

We had a wonderful few days in the Castlerosse Hotel and we were very impressed with the location and beautiful view from the restaurant, which was enhanced by the jolly atmosphere in the hotel and the very pleasant and efficient staff.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The only negative comment I would make is that the evening meal didn't quite deliver what it said on the menu ie goulash was in fact 5 pieces of beef in a tomato gravy not what it should have been according to the lovely description on the menu. Also the hotel can be assessed from other doors around the hotel and these were often left open which made the hotel quite cold and if you were unfortunate enough to have a room near one of those doors it made for a very noisy evening particularily if you have small children and are confined to your room. However overall the staff were fantastic particularily reception I would highly recommend it and have done and will certainly come back. My 6 year old son said that the weekend in the hotel was better than our summer holiday to Portugal and that he want's to go to Killarney next year instead of a foreign holiday so that is high praise indeed. We will be back

Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would have liked to have full breakfast in bed but only continental offered.

we stayed before last year and found staff a lot more helpfull that time. We arrived in the evening and bar food was advertised to be served until 8 PM. we were looking to order something small just a few minutes before 8 and were refused service.
