comments We had a fantastic stay. We got a beautiful room. Service was excellent and food was brillant. It was my husbands birthday and the hotel provided a happy birthday message and chocolates it was a lovely touch. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. We will definately stay in the Brehon again and would recommend it to everyone.

comments We have stayed in the Brehan before for a concert in the INEC. On this occasion we only stayed for one night but my friend and I really enjoyed it. We ate in you beautiful restaurant and availed of some treatments in the Spa the following morning before we left. We hope to be back in the near future.

comments My friend and I had a fantastic time at the Brehon Hotel and Spa, the hotel and spa staff were superb. Having been to the hotel on a number of occasions though, I feel the service at the bar lets the premises down. Staff seem distracted and service takes quite a long time. I was unhappy with cocktails I had ordered and complained and the staff were very accomodating then but it was a pity that it had to come to that. Besides that, I always enjoy staying at the Brehon.

comments When making our booking I stated it was our wedding anniversary weekend and requested a nice room. On arrival we were upgraded to a delux suite with beautiful views and in our room was an anniversary card and choclates from the hotel. This was a very nice touch and started off our weekend on a high note. We had food in the bar and in the resturant on our anniversary night and we received two glasses of champagne before our meal. the food was exellent and the staff could'nt have been nicer or more helpful, from check-in to check-out in all deparments. we enjoyed our stay greatly and look forward to returning soon.

All the employees were friendly, the food was great, the spa treatment was excellent and the employee in the spa faculity were very respectful at all times. We had Jeena for a mud Detox treatment and she was very helpful and respectful of any privacy needed!

comments All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Space in the hotel is most unusual these days and a greta bonus!. The Spa was wonderful. Having experienced many over the last 15 years at home and abroad, I haven't experienced a better one (and I've told this to everybody I've met since).

comments Our four night stay at the Brehon was amazing and exactly what we needed after a stressful several months. The staff there spoiled us with their high level of customer service and the food--both breakfast and dinner--in the restaurant could not be beat. The view of the mountains from our room was incredible. And for such a nice hotel, they were more than welcoming of our two young children. This was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had, and we have had many!

comments My wife and I visited The Brehon Hotel and stayed for 2 nights. We were extremely impressed with everything about the hotel. We had a message in the spa on the Friday and they were so professional. It really brought us back to our Honeymoon in Thailand. We had a meal in the restaurant on the Saturday and it was very enjoyable. Great choice and excellent food. The staff were excellent throughout our stay and were always helpful. I would recommend the Brehon Hotel.

comments A lovely welcome from Ciaran and Victoria, the staff at the Angsana Spa were excellent. The Restaurant and Bar staff were friendly, efficient and the food delicious. My only negative comment would be the carpet on entry to our room was badly stained, that will not stop me from returning asap!

comments We have stayed here twice recently and found the staff to be most helpful and the hotel extremely comfortable. The Angsana Spa is an oasis of calm to relax in. The bar food is excellent and the Danu restaurant is second to none. As a base it is very central, within walking distance of Kilarney town centre and Muckross House and National Park. It offers incredibly good value. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to a return visit there.

comments Breakfast seemed to get a little busy and we had to wait for the bread basket to be refilled but all in all the quality of the food and the setting was perfect. The power went during breakfast on one morning and wasn't acknowledged by the staff, it would have been a nice touch to apologise for the inconvenience considering the lifts weren't working during the outage and we had to bring our bags down the stairs. I understand that all of this is outside your control and I have no problem with that, I just think a word about it at check-out would have been nice. I would definitely stay at the hotel again and would recommend it to others.

comments had a wonderful stay, staff were very polite, breakfast was lovely, such a great choice. one negative point, cannot understand why there would be a fridge in the room when it is not a working fridge, especially travelling with a baby, when you have to keep bottles cold. other than that has a great stay.

comments We stayed here for our mini honeymoon / staycation. Its fantastic. The room was fabulous very spacious lovely big bath. Bed was so big that we were uncomfortable and had to sketch to reach each side lol. Ye had lunch in the bar really relaxed and food was delicious and reasonably priced. We purchased the sizzling summer for two package in the angsana spa so my self and my new husband could enjoy everything together after the hustle and bustle of the wedding. The vitality is something else relaying soothing revitalizing. Ye had couples massage in the double room ye haven't stopped talking about it since ye got back. The restaurant is lovely and the food was delicious. All the staff yer extremely helpful and friendly. Our standards of expectations from hotels has now increase massively thanks to our stay here and ye would recommend it to everyone. Ye have decided to go back in the new year and i can't wait.

comments A beautiful Hotel set in a stunning location. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful during our short stay. We ate in the Danu Restaurant and we could not recommend it highly enough as a place to eat for special occasions or a romantic evening, as we were celebrating our engagement when we stayed. A very reasonably priced hotel for the quality & comfort experienced. We did not get to experience the Angsana Spa on our stay as we were under tight time constraints but we will return again in the future to experience all the Brehon Hotel has to offer. comments We stayed at the Brehon hotel killarney for 3 nights in October and found that the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The room we stayed in could only be described as luxurious and the room as you would expect were serviced at regular intervals. The lobby is massive and the breakfast is fantastic and the hotel is also very clean. Another aspect of the our stay which we found to be very convenient was the shuttle bus that also operates for the Gleneagle hotel. It brought us into town for €2 each. Overall we would definitely stay here again and would look forward to the experience.

comments lovely hotel only negatives were that there is a lack of smokers areas, and that the halls going to rooms were very dull. the food was lovely ate in both bar and rest found both had high quality. the bar man named Sean was so nice and approachable made you feel at ease and welcomed, the bar mangager and the other bar staff were far too quiet did not engage in conversation so in terms of friendliness i would have to say that only a hand full were . i cannot praise Sean enough, he was new but was so professional and friendly

comments My husband & I stayed at the Brehon Hotel for two nights early October 2011. We very pleased with our stay & found everything to be very satisfactory. Staff at Reception made us very welcome on arrival & were very helpful re; tours, travel timetables etc. Breakfast was excellant & we ate in the hotel bar in the evening which we found to be quite reaonable - price wise. We would definitely recommend the Brehon & will return to stay in the near future. We did not try the Angsana spa so I have no comments to make on that.

I can't speak highly enough of this hotel, they treated my parents exceedingly well and I wish to thank all the staff for making it such an enjoyable stay for them. comments I nearly always find something not up to scratch with every hotel I've ever stayed in but, I have to say, we loved EVERYTHING about The Brehon. Location, rooms, restaraunt, staff, spa and bar were all first class. Went for our wedding anniversary and ALL the staff made us feel special and were very friendly without being too familiar. My husband, (who usually feels hotels are out to get every penny from us that they can), couldn't praise it enough and wants us to go back for every anniversary. Don't know why its not a 5 star. Book now, you deserve a great hotel!

comments My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Brehon. The room was spacious and comfortable, the buffet breakfast was wonderful, but best of all I have to say was Danu restaurant. The food was some of the best I have ever tasted and would compare very well to many of the fine restaurants I have visited on my travels worldwide. The staff also need special mention - often the difference between a good hotel and a great hotel is the staff, and this is true of the Brehon. From the front desk staff, to the Brehon Bar and Danu, they couldn't have been more professional, helpful and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit to the Brehon.

comments I found our stay to be very enjoyable. The breakfast was superb and the staff were very friendly. The vitality suite/pool was the nicest pool in Ireland I have ever been in. The room was perfect not any faults with my stay.

comments Our stay at the hotel was excellent, we stayed two nights and ate in the hotel both nights. The room was lovely, the staff were lovely, the food was excellent, the location was super. The only bad point which I struggle to come up with was on the Saturday night there was a wedding and also a gig in INEC think it were (Jedward). When we returned the car park was heaving, it took 4 or 5 spins around until I eventually found a conner to squeeze into. But I guess that's the sign if a good hotel at the end of the day (A Full Car Park). I really can't fault our stay though, well possibly that it were too short but ya can't have everything!!!

comments we had a fine time in your hotel ,bedroom , dining room , bar .desk friendly and informative .very efficient checking in and out .music a bit repetitive two nights in a row but would be back .

comments We really enjoyed our stay at the Brehon in July. The hotel is very well located,rooms are spacious and the bathroom with separate shower and bath is comfortable. We loved the space in the foyer with comfortable chairs to lounge in. Dinner was first class. Can't wait to return.

comments The staff were excellent....very professional and polite. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The under floor heating in the bathroom left the bathroom too warm and meant that the airconditioning had to be on to keep the room cool. There was no net curtain or blind on the window and as a result people could see in during the evening...we were at the rear with the apartments opposite. Overall I would thoroughly recommend the Brehon.

comments Pleasant stay at the Brehon....the Spa was definately the highlight as it was very luxurious and pleasant.The restaurant is very nice also with a somalier on hand to help with wine choices. Would recommend the Brehon to those who want a realxing stay with use of a first class spa.

comments I had a lovely stay. The room was beautiful and the food very good. The Spa was booked out which was a real disappointment to me as I was looking forward to having a treatment and didn't expect it to be full. I didn't realize I had to book the Spa a few weeks in advance.

comments Book out time is 11:30 which is a bit early. Also the SPA was completely booked out for the whole weekend, we only booked on the wednesday before the weekend, so we never had a chance to book the SPA. Perhaps some places could be kept for hotel residents who book the hotel at short notice.
