	Could not fault any of the staff king friendly and very helpful. This was our second stay in Benners this year we wouldn't stay anywhere else now. Food is good my only negative comment would be that the bar food should be served longer as it is brilliant.

	Good, no frills hotel in a great location. No trouble parking - big car park nearby free until 10.30 am. Had a nice, large, clean 3 bed en-suite room - a free upgrade for a weary single traveller. Helpful staff. The decor in the dining room was dark but the breakfasts were good. Recommended!

	Benners was perfect for our stay. Nice and central in the town, room was a good size and comfortable. Even being at the front ifthe hotel, noise from the high street wasn't an issue. It was also having free parking in the centre of town. All in all, very nice.

	Very nice comfortable rooms. Bed was nice but covers seemed too small for the bed. The tv had a good range of stations but was too small to see from the bed. All in all I would stay there again. Staff was very friendly and went out of the way to help you.

	Had a lovely time in Tralee,And in the hotel,staff where lovely and price was fair enough as well, if i was to stay in Tralee again i would make it Benners Hotel,for Value and Irish staff!!

	The hotel was wonderful and the restaurant next door The Holy Cow had great food. Everything was in walking distance to our hotel especially Penny's and the bus/train station was right around the corner. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

	room was very cold, i turned on shower in the morning and dirt came out of it.. could not use it and obviously the room had not been cleaned befor we stayed there. the staff member we met when we arrived could not have been nicer, grey haired man in his forties, receptionist was not helpful on checkout and when complaint was made about shower, a female in her thirties.

	wifi did not work in my room and i had to be moved. There was no hot water in the room in the morning for shower or wash. Otherwise i liked the hotel, it was clean and quiet. The restaurant was good.

	I checked in at 8pm but had to go through the bar to do so and found it quite uncomfortable to do so.. Bar man who checked me in not very friendly. I did enjoy the food from the restaurant, however to be asked to pay as the waiter was putting the plate on the table was insulting! did he think i was going to do a runner?? would i stay here again?? no.

On arrival at Benners I was impressed with the hotel. That was of coarse until we decided to go to bed. We had 2 x single bed and a double, there were 3 of use sharing. I got into my bed and realised the top sheet was in a ball at the end of my bed, in other words the bed had already been slept in. The other single bed was covered in brown sugar and you could see the track in the sheets where someone had been sitting for a while. The double bed had not top sheet. So over all I was very disappointed with my stay. I will be making several trips to Tralee over the next 3years but I will not be staying in Benners Hotel. On reporting the above details to reception I was told it would be pasted on to Head of housekeeping!!!!!

	When I asked for the heating to be turned on in W4, I was told that "someone would look at it", but nothing happened. One lamp had a bulb missing and the second bulb was broken. The room was also filled with cobwebs. These things are very basic mistakes that I would not expect in this type of hotel. On the positive side, the staff all friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding.

	Drunken shouting and screaming out on street at 4am kept me awake. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and appreciated continental breakfast very much.

I would love to comment on my stay but as the hotel double booked I didn't say ..they arranged for me to stay in the Grand ..who had sold my room when I arrived because apparently I was expected at 7.30 but didn't arrive until 9pm due to a delay ..but I didn't think arriving an hour and a half late following a 7 hour journey was unreasonable ..anyway I ended up in the abbeygate ...and the less said about that stay the better!

When i arrived at the hotel they didnt have my booking because the website never sent it through even though i recieved a confirmation email and they had already taken a deposit out of my account on the room. The hotel were still able to accommodate us but had we arrived any later that evening they would have been full and we would have had to go to another last minute. This also happened to friends of ours on the same weekend and they had to book in somewhere else,

We only stayed for 1 night. Everything was fine. Good size room, great beds, wonderful shower (unfortunately in the bath tub, but you can't have your cake and eat it too, I suppose). One small problem was we had booked a complementary breakfast with our stay. We were leaving early, because we had to catch our plane. Although we left at 7:30 and breakfast should have been served from 7:00 (according to the information in our room), we could only get breakfast if another travelling company would use breakfast at 7:00, which they didn't. In the end we didn't get any breakfast, although it was included in our booking.

	Shame there was no food being served apart from breakfast. The noise from the disco was quite loud after midnight even on the third floor.

I thought the room was very uncomfortable. It was hot and stuffy but we couldn't leave the window open due to the excessive street noise until very late in the night. I also found the beds to be uncomfortable and the pillows were completely flat. The continental breakfast was meager at best. Although we were told someone would bring out some toast, it never did appear. The sign in the lobby states that food is served in the attached pub all day long, but we were told that there was not actually any food being served on the day that we were there. All this, combined with no parking, would make me discourage people to stay here.

	Hotel was quite nice. Wireless internet was not working which was very disappointing as I had a web-conference to attend and had to resort to noisy net cafe down the road. Breakfast was simple but nice. Overall an ok stay.

	I found the staff friendly and helpful. I has a late night on the night of my stay and was unable to get up for breakfast, and when i went to pay they had deducted the price from my bill. This had never happened to me before and I stay in alot of hotels. So for sure I will be back in the future.

	I arrived late having so informed after a six hour journey to attend a funeral. The hotel was closed and I went to the nearby hotel 'bar' to be informed that I was wasting my time trying to get a room as the place was unavailable. The number given was a nearby bar phone! An absolute disgrace.

Breakfast was awful, No parking facility within the hotel and had to get up very early to put money in the parking meter. No hot water the first morning, I was in shower so had to have cold shower, they fixed it later on that day. Bag nearly robbed in the pub downstairs. Bedroom door was open when I arrived back early on the second night. I raised this with reception but didnt seem to bothered. I wouldnt recommend this as a place to stay. On a positive the staff were friendly

	Was very surprised by the size of the room it was lovely and clean and the sheets were changed everyday (we were there for three days) was very happy with the staff, it was a pity that breakfast didn't go on a little later especially after such a good night in the club!Excellent though comparing it to other prices in tralee, well worth it.

	The disco below was very loud and kept us up for several hours. The staff seemed pretty overwhelmed, and it seemed like they were missing some help. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Parking was a pain.

	The room was comfortable, though a tad warm; the staff was very helpful. Tralee has a lot going for it (beautiful gardens, museum, restaurants), but its populace is pretty rough-edged. Request a room away from the street; we were awakened by a brawl a 3:00 am on a Wednesday morning.

	Hotel was alot better than anticipated given the extremely cheap price paid. Dinner was amazing (keeping in mind the price, a 3 course meal for 2 with bottle of wine for €50) Staff were very helpful. Location was perfect. Rooms were a fine size and clean. Perfect hotel for young people / couple get away.

Benners is in a great central location and has undergone a recent makeover and I was very happy with it with just one problem: I stayed there on a Sunday and there was no food to be had. The restaurant was closed and there was no bar-food, which seemed rather unusual. Otherwise the room and service was excellent. I was getting an early train the next morning and it is in an excellent location for train-travellers, less than three minutes walk from the station.

	This is a great hotel, friendly staff, good location and excellent decor! The lighting in Deacon bar and the snazzy glass dancefloor in the Nightclub definately impress. Great stay!

	One thing that stood out more than anything else was the friendliness of the staff. A female receptionist who seemed to be from Eastern Europe was exceptional despite being under pressure with quite a number of people to deal with and having to use the Pin machine in the bar as the one at reception was out of order. The breakfast was also very good.
