comments The castle was everything the website presented it to be and more. We had a great stay; the children loved the dogs, the staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, and our room was more than satisfactory (it was much larger than expected). I would certainly recommend Ballyseede to others and definitely stay there again.

comments Excellent ambiance for a long weekend or more.Autumn colors were brilliant.We have to come back in springtime for Dingle peninsula(whales,dolphins and sharks?) Next time we will be more lucky in the greyhound races. Thanks a lot for your hospitality.E.W.E.Bicker sr+jr.

comments Our one night stay at Ballyseede Castle in September was delightful. The castle was beautiful, the staff very helpful and the price reasonable. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a nice tub, double sink and a shower. There was a computer available for people who just have to stay connected to their real lives (we felt like we were in a dream staying in a real castle) and the dinner in the dining room was delicious. The only opportunity for improvement was playing a tape of Phantom of the Opera over and over and over and over again. Having multiple tapes of music would have been more enjoyable. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again. Beryl and Pat Laird

comments lovely place, beautifully decorated and with nice grounds. Great atmosphere within the castle. Staff were friendly and the food at breakfast was very good. We had our dinner in the library/pub which was very good.

comments We were allowed to check in early, laundry which was promised by the next morning showed up 12 hours early before dinner, a great bartender who told us the history of the castle, all of these things made the stay great

comments I enjoyed my stay at Ballyseede. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The grounds were beautiful. I enjoyed walking around playing with the dogs as well as visiting the donkeys. It is just a short trip into Tralee. I also enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the pub. To experience staying in a castle I would highly recommend Ballyseede.

comments We were somewhat nervous making reservations from the descriptions on a web-page. But we did it. In our 2 week trip to Ireland, our 3 night stay at Ballyseede was the most memoriable. The owners were great- the staff excellent-the food and service amazing and fresh. And everyone loves Arthur the dog. We would go back to Ireland just to stay there again

comments We loved the castle! Our room was absolutely gorgeous, with lovely views from the windows and a beautiful four-post bed. We loved Arthur and Einstein too!! Everyone was very friendly and we couldn't have asked for anything better.

comments The castle was friendly, warm, welcoming. At the end of the long driveway, you were greeted by Otter, the castle's Irish Wolfhound. The grounds were fantastic and the rooms large,comfortable, and transported you to the days no longer here.

comments I checked out of Ballyseede Castle Hotel with more than a little reluctance. I found a bit of magic there, and time seemed to stand still for a few days. The castle decor and grounds are beautiful, the staff members are sweet and the resident dogs -- utterly loveable. A return trip to Ballyseede is already on my wish list.

comments We loved Ballyseede, expecially being greeted by the wolfhound, Arthur. Although we only stayed one night, we would definitely stay again. Expensive, but worth the money. Absolutely the best mushroom soup we've ever experienced. Dinner there was a delight. The room was luxurious and smelled of roses.

comments Nearly everything was perfect -- the room, the food, the service, the courtesy of the management -- but as I have Parkinson's Disease I would really have appreciated the use of a lift. But the castle was charming, the people friendly and the food delicious.
