The Gasworks Bar gives our guest a modern setting to enjoy a delicious meal, a specialty coffee, a cool beverage, glass of wine or something special from our cocktail menu. The Gasworks is furnished with luxurious couches and artwork throughout and is the ideal setting to unwind after a day of exploring Dublin. Serving contemporary Irish food form 5pm to 10pm. Reservations while not essential are advisable. Full bar menu available also from 3pm to 10pm.
Canal Express Coffee Bar offers a variety of freshly brewed coffees, hot chocolate or a delicious smoothie to enjoy in our spacious lobby ore to take away.

Location:
Grand Canal Hotel is located in the south suburbs of Dublin City in the affluent Ballsbridge area on the banks of the Grand Canal. A 15 minute walk to Grafton Street, or 15 minutes walk to the Irish Financial Services Centre (IFSC).
Grand Canal Dock DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) Station lies opposite the hotel.
Just 5 minutes walk to Lansdowne Road Stadium, 15 minutes walk to Royal Dublin Society (RDS)
The Point Depot host to concerts and events is approximately 2 miles from the hotel.

How to get there:
From Dublin Airport by car:
Departing Dublin Airport you should drive to the Airport Roundabout and take the second exit onto the M1 (signposted Dublin). Join the M1 motorway and continue forward onto Swords Road-N1 (signposted M1 City Centre). On this way you will enter in Dublin. Follow the traffic signals and continue forward onto Drumcondra Road Lower-N1 (signposted City Centre). At Junction 70 turn left onto Belvidere Road (signposted N3, N4, N7, N11). Then, at Junction 71 turn left onto North Circular Road-R101 (signposted N11), and finally, at Junction 73 turn right onto Amiens Street-R105 (signposted City Centre). Follow the traffic signals again and continue forward onto Memorial Road-R105 (one way). Continue forward onto Moss Street- R802 and turn right onto Lombard Street East-R814. When you are in Lombard Street East continue forward onto Westland Row-R118 and bear right onto Merrion Street Lower-R815. Turn left onto Merrion Square North-R118. Go on until the end of this street and then turn left onto Clanwilliam Place. Now just turn right onto Grand Canal Street Lower-R815 and you will see Grand Canal Hotel on your right.
From Dublin Airport by bus:
Take the Aircoach Bus in the direction to the city centre/Ballsbridge and get off at the School House Hotel. When you turn off the bus go down the footway next to the School House Hotel. The School House Hotel will be on your right and the canal will be on your left. Follow this way for about 100 m, and then turn right. After 50 m you will see the Grand Canal Hotel to your left.
By DART:
Get out of the DART station 'Grand Canal Dock'. When leaving the station turn right. You will see the Grand Canal Hotel in front of you after 50 m.
