The New Bar/Restaurant “The Castle Vaults"  which has a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, combining all the amenities of a modern bar with the ambiance of old world charm. It is walled with the same warm stone that has been in place for the past 200 years and has an exposed Vaulted Ceiling which was part of the Original 19th Century wine cellars. An enchanting retreat and the perfect place to sit back and unwind after a busy day exploring the city of Dublin

In our Bar you can choose something traditional like our excellent quality Guinness which is always served chilled or on that cold winters evening you can sit back and relax with a warm Irish coffee. For those a little more adventurous,  we have a selection of Champagne Cocktails, Signature Cocktails and Mocktails to make your evening really special. We host a Live Traditional Irish Music Band every Thursday Friday and Saturday and Sunday Nights(Summer Months) and Friday and Saturday Nights (Rest of the Year)

In our Restaurant we have a selection of menus to suit every taste and budget. Enjoy a Full Irish or Vegetarian Breakfast which is served each morning from 7.30am-10.00am and is included in all our room prices. If you wish to eat before your theatre visit our Pre-Theatre Menu is served between 5pm and 7pm to allow plenty of time for a relaxing meal before your entertaining evening. An A La Carté Menu is served between 5pm and 9pm and a Children's menu is also available.

Location

The Castle Hotel is located in the centre of Dublin, a short walking distance from all the major cultural and sporting venues. Nearby attractions include The Abbey and Gate theatres, the Municipal Art Gallery, Dublin’s Writers Museum and the James Joyce Cultural Centre. In addition to having the city centre at just a few minutes walk, you will also find a variety of transport links nearby so you can easily get to the ferry terminal, railway station, and airport via bus.
Aircoach provides a 24-hour luxury coach service between Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre. Bus stop around the corner from The Castle Hotel.
