Part of the Irish Court Hotels the Riverside Suites Hotel (former Riverside Hotel, which closed in 2007 for a complete refurbishment) is an exclusive luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Sligo City. Perfectly located on the banks of the Garavogue River and with the city centre on our doorstep. Our hotel comprises 30 suites with stunning river views as well as several family-friendly suites.

Leaving the hotel and going in the other direction, you'll be able to take a wonderful walk along the Garavogue and enjoy the breathtaking scenery that inspired Yeats, as you overlook Lough Gill from Doorly Park. Or why not take a short stroll over one of the river's footbridges, adjacent to Riverside Suites Hotel, to discover the side of the city which is home to Sligo's Niland Art Gallery and Theatre, the General Hospital and Institute of Technology.

Ever with a view to being environmentally friendly, our hotel is an energy-efficient building, with solar panels that heat our water supplies. We also operate an effective recycling system.

There is also a laundry service available in the hotel. All rooms have 32' plasma screens and satellite television. Although located in the same complex as the hotel, Jasmine Thai Restaurant and the Mill Bar are independently run. All sports channels are also available in the bar.

Reception
The hotel reception is open from 7am-10pm. There is a safe available via reception for guests to store their valuables.

Location: Riverside Suites Hotel is two minutes walk from Sligo's main thoroughfare O'Connell Street, with its new multi-million euro Johnston Court Shopping Centre, around the corner from which you will find the city's other main shopping centre Quayside. In this area you will also find some of the best bars and restaurants the city has to offer. The famous Hawk's Well Theatre and Sligo Heritage and Genealogy Centre are nearby, while Sligo Abbey is literally just steps away from the hotel.
