Kilkee is approximately a 45 minute drive from Ennis and a hours drive from Limerick on the N68. Galway is just over an hour away following the N67. Kilkee is just beyond mid-way between the the world famous Cliffs of Moher and the unspoilt beauty of Loop Headon the N67 coastal route. Shannon Airport is approx 72 km from Kilkee. Kilkee is world-renowned for its soft sandy beach, stunning scenery and a rich assortment of outdoor activities. Kilkee boasts a beautiful golden sandy beach stretching over one and a half miles which, with its Blue Flag status, makes it the safest beach on the West Coast of Ireland. There are some breathtaking walks both to the north of the beach where one can explore George's Head and to the south where one can walk for sixteen miles along the cliffs and explore Loop Head.
