How to get there: Proceed from Killarney on the Main Ring of Kerry Road (N72) to Fossa village, 3 miles from Killarney. After passing Fossa church, take a left turn at Macken Gift Shop. Loch Lein Country House Hotel is 100 metres on the right hand side.

Golf: Local renowned clubs include Ballybunion, Beaufort, Dingle, Dooks, Killarney Golf & Fishing, Ring of Kerry, Tralee & Waterville. The hotel provides the following facilities: Drying Room, Transport if desired, Tailored Itineraries, Early Breakfast or Brunch.
Angling: Salmon and trout fishing on The Lakes of Killarney, the river Flesk and the river Laune. Fishing is free on all The Killarney lakes (except Kilbrean). Permits are necessary for fishing in the rivers. A licence is required for salmon fishing. Sea angling in Dingle, Cahirciveen, Valentia.
Cycling & Touring: Whether cycling or driving, there are many beauty spots within The Killarney Valley, e.g. Gap of Dunloe, The National Park, Ross Castle, Muckross House and Gardens. A limited number of bicycles are available free of charge from reception.
Boating: Row boats are available for hire, with or without a boatman at Muckross boathouse or at Ross Castle. There are numerous trips available. All weather cruises depart Ross Castle regularly on lake tours.
