The Grill Room Restaurant: serves bistro style food using local produce, in a very relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. It has a capacity of 60 people and is available for private bookings or parties. Open daily from 7.30am until 9pm.
JB's bar: This cosy bar is perfect for both lunch and an evening drink. The second level bar, overlooking St. Canices Cathedral, is great for private parties. There is a wide selection of cocktails and wine. Flat screen tv and broadband access available. Lunch Menu from 12noon til 6pm. Bar Menu from 6pm until 9pm.

From Dublin via Carlow:
• At the first roundabout go straight ahead until you come to traffic lights (train station on the right-hand-side), go straight thorugh the traffic lights. Keep on this road for approximately 1km. Take a left at the next junction and go over the bridge. At the roundabout go left. The hotel is 200m up on the left-hand-side.

From Dublin via Castlecomer:
• Take the 3rd exit at the first roundabout as you aproach Kilkenny City. Go over the bridge and take the next left. The hotel is 200m up on the left-hand-side.
