Cancellation and Payment Policy:
An initial non-refundable deposit of no more than 10% of overall total is required initially to complete your booking on line. This will appear as 'bookassist.com' on your credit/debit card statement. The amount paid (excl booking fee of Euro 2.95) will be deducted from the total balance due for your booking.
A booking deposit is required per holiday home per week or short break: 2-3 Night Stay - 150 Euro deposit. 7 Night Stay - 250 Euro deposit. Your letter of confirmation will be sent to you on receipt of this deposit.
Should you cancel your booking the following charges will apply:
- 4-6 weeks prior to arrival date you will forfeit 50% of your booking deposit.
- Inside 4 weeks prior to arrival date you will forfeit 100% of your booking deposit.
Acceptance & Confirmation of your booking is subject to the following conditions:
The total number of people staying at each holiday home must not exceed the capacity of the house. It is important that you confirm the exact number in the party at time of booking.
Holiday Insurance is NOT provided with your booking. We recommend that you arrange Holiday Insurance for your stay.
Please advise us of any special requirements (to specify in Special Requests Box at time of booking) or guests with wheelchairs or mobility difficulties to enable us to find you the most suitable accommodation for your needs.
We have specific arrival and departure times which are to be strictly adhered to. Check in time is from 4pm. Check out time is before 12 noon. You must contact the Site Manager 24 hours before your arrival to arrange key collection. Please keep in touch with them should you be delayed.
At check in it is compulsory for each guest (EU and Non EU) to present his or her passport or photo driving licence as form of I.D. A photocopy will be made and kept for the duration of your stay.
A security deposit is required on arrival of 150 Euro cash or credit card details. Cash security deposits will be returned to you by post 7-10 days after departure once the Site Manager is satisfied the property has been left in order and all keys have been returned. If the property is not left in a clean and tidy condition, part or all the security deposit may be retained. Should there be significant damage to the property, or its contents, your security deposit will be held until a thorough inspection has been done. Any breakages must be reported to Reception and paid for on departure. You will find a breakages price list in the information folder in each house. Excessive damage to any property will be the responsibility of the person who made the booking. Lost keys will be charged at 20 Euro per key.
Should the house not be left in an acceptable condition an additional 80 Euro will be charged to your bill for extra cleaning, maintenance and work required to restore the house to its original condition.
There is a full inventory list on the back of the front door in each house which is checked by our Site Manager prior to your arrival, we advise that you check the list on arrival to ensure all the house contents which are listed on the inventory list are in the house. Should there be any items missing or broken on your departure it will automatically be taken out of your security deposit.
Each person booked is supplied with one set of towels and bed linen for their stay. Additional linen changes are are cost of 25 Euro. This includes fresh linen for all beds in the house and a set of towels for each person.
Electricity and gas are charged at 8 Euro per day from April to October. Electricity and Gas are charged by meter reading from November to March.
Please check that all documentation is correct. Please contact us with any errors, omissions or alterations.
Please advise us upon booking if you require a high chair or cot. A charge of 25 Euro applies for same.
Pets are strictly prohibited. Guide Dogs are welcome.
Should you have a complaint please bring it to the attention of Reception who will endeavour to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
If the behaviour or conduct of any person staying is likely to affect the safety or well being of any other guests or themselves, the rental will be cancelled with no refund.
Should your accommodation with us not be available due to circumstances beyond our control we will try and find similar accommodation for you or a full refund will be given.
Lee Valley Golf & Country Club is not liable for any damage, loss or personal injury to persons at any time during your stay.
