These self catering holiday homes in Killorglin over look the River Laune are within a very short walk of the town’s craft shops, traditional pubs (which often have live music sessions) and excellent restaurants. This vibrant town has a weekly country market featuring local produce and a large public play ground.

There are a wide variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area such as kayaking, sailing, orienteering, hill walking and rock climbing at Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre and Outdoors Ireland. The area offers some excellent fishing with the River Laune having good stocks of salmon and brown trout, the small lake of Lough na Kirka having rainbow trout and  sea angling trips available from nearby Castlemaine Harbour. The nearest sandy beach is Rossbeigh Beach, 8Km away and has lovely dunes and is very popular with surfers.

The area surrounding Killorglin is very scenic and there are a number marked walks and trails with bicycle hire available in the town.

Killorglin is famous for one of Ireland’s oldest festivals, the annual Puck Fair which takes place every August. This has now developed into a three day festival with street entertainment, concerts, firework displays, a parade, traditional horse fair and of course the crowning of King Puck.

Situated in the very heart of Co. Kerry, this self catering accommodation in Killorglin is a great base from which to explore all that the‘Kingdom of Kerry’ has to offer being within easy reach of most of its main attractions such as the national park and lakes of Killarney, the Dingle and Beara Peninsulas, Kenmare, Waterville and Ballinskelligs.
