We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loch Ness Lodge and would have to say that it was the best place we stayed at during our trip. The Lodge has a relaxing atmosphere and staff are welcoming and friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was of a high standard and the room was comfortable and very well presented. We certainly would stay here again. Thanks to all the staff, especially Chris who provided us with information on some beautiful places to visit in the highlands, that we would have otherwise missed.

	Our stay at the Loch Ness Lodge was spectacular. The room was beautiful, the service outstanding and the view breath taking. We decided to dine at the lodge both nights of our stay and were not disappointed. The food was amazing. I'm hoping that we'll be able to return soon. Loch Ness Lodge is an exquisitely appointed, elegant hotel. Our superior room was a very nice size and the attention to every last detail left us wanting for nothing. The hotel is in a beautiful and very quiet location, across the street from the lake. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. We wish the dinner menu had a few more choices; we opted for eating out. Chris gave us excellent driving itineraries nearby and on our way to Skye. He was welcoming and so accommodating. Overall, our stay was lovely and perfect and we would surely stay again the next time we are in the area.

	THe Loch Ness Lodge exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful with a magnificent view of Loch Ness. The gourmet food was outstanding, and the staff was extreemly helpful with recommendations for the sites nearby. We will definitely recommend the Lodge to others planning on a trip to Scotland as it was one of the best hotels on our trip.

	We didn´t expect that the room <Orrin> was just behind the entrance and beside the parking - but we arranged ourselves. The very friendly service and the excellent kitchen were outstanding. Thank you!

	I think the dinner menu needs to have more variety of choices as my husband doesnt eat fish or duck and that was all that was on offer. Other than that our stay at Loch Ness Lodge was outstanding.

My wife and I had a great time at the Loch Ness Lodge, both in terms of accommodations and dining. Scott (proprietor) was always available for reservations at area restaurants, to provide directions to local attractions and for engaging conversation over breakfast. The lodge itself is amazing, the web-site does not do it justice. We flew from the states and were very impressed with our room and the overall atmosphere. If you want to be at an upscale location w/o the snobbery - this is the ticket.

	Most beautifully situated hotel I have ever been in. The views I will remember for a lifetime. The service and food were more than 5 star, and the fitting of the hotel was perfect. I could not find a single thing I could fault. I have never been anywhere so clean and perfect. Our second honeymoon was a all our dreams turned into reality by a wonderful team. We stayed at the Lodge for two nights after our Wedding in May 2010. The welcome was very warm and we were shown around the property at check in. The room was a little on the small side but very comfortable and sylish and although they did have coffee/tea making facilities in the room, when I mentioned this they offered to have a tray with the necessary item, delivered to the room. The turn down service was a nice touch and the food both breakfast and dinner was amazing. The views and location of the Lodge was perfect, dramatic and not to be missed. My only comment would be that the staff need to relax a little to allow the guests to relax!!! We would definately stay again without hesitation.

Exceptional....,thats the only word that best describes this hotel down to a tee!! Much about this place has already been described in the many superb reviews and as such I feel that there is no point repeating what you will read from other past guest reviews, however ,what I will touch on is the fact that my experience over the two days spent here from the time of arrival to departure really did surpass our expectations. Scott, Martin and Andy and the rest of the staff were as down to earth and genuine as I could have hoped for which in any case of any class of establishment is always a bonus. We came to relax and relax is what we certainly did. Will undoubtedly be back in the future.

Despite the treacherous winter weather we were extremely happy to have been able to stay at the Loch Ness Lodge. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt we treated amazingly. The sleeping accommodation was excellent, a large room with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The room had a truly breath taking view over Loch Ness. The spa room was a welcome comfort after a long day. The food and hospitality of the staff was outstanding and the restaurant could easily rival a Michelin restaurant. We would highly recommend this hotel that deserves all of its five stars and can’t wait to stay again.

	This hotel is excellent. The room was lovely, food and wine excellent and the facilities ideal - a lovely snug in which to relax and a sauna/hot tub if you want it. A real place to get away from it all and chill. The service is what makes this hotel special it is attentive but not intrusive - this hotel has the balance just right.

	Overall we had a fantastic stay. The only feedback for improvement would be that during our stay it was very warm in our room, even with both windows open, so having a fan in the room or having air conditioning would have made it a more comfortable sleep. 	We were impressed by the personal, friendly service.The rooms were lovely and the food just terrific. All in all a wonderful stay. The view of the lake wasn't as expansive as I expected given the lovely photo on your website. However the well manicured lawns and stately tree were in keeping with the Country Manor look.

I can recommend Loch Ness Lodge as a luxury retreat of the highest quality. My wife wanted to take me away for a five-day, special occasion break, and we were looking to find a luxury hotel, which we could use as a base from which to go walking. From the moment we arrived at the Lodge to the moment we left, we knew we had made the right decision. Scott, Iona and their team made our stay very special, with a carefully-crafted blend of continual concern for our enjoyment and comfort, with a respect for our privacy. We were made to feel very welcome and were very pampered. Our room (Affric) was fantastic; light and spacious, with a stunning view over the Loch; the bathroom had a great spa bath, which was very welcome after a long walk! A very nice touch was the decanter of sherry. The eating experience matched the quality and attention to detail of the accommodation. Dinner was a five-course gastro experience (!), with subtle flavours and imaginative combinations of ingredients. There was a good wine list – and even the cheeseboard was to die for! All the public areas were beautifully furnished, in a combination of traditional and modern styles and fabrics, and felt very comfortable and easy to relax in. Overall our whole stay was excellent – and very special, as we wanted it to be. It was not inexpensive, but it was excellent value for money. We were very sorry to leave and hope to be returning on our next visit to Scotland.

Superb setting and views, The staff are delightful and nothing is too much trouble. The food is top class - fine dining but not over-fussy or too rich, so you don't wake up in the middle of the night with indegestion! You get five courses but portions are small enough that you can experience a wide array of wonderful flavours of locally sourced food and not feel uncomfortable afterwards. This makes the nightcap of a good malt by the log fire all the more enjoyable. We will definitely be back. (The nine newly hatched ducklings in the hotel's little lake were a delightful bonus!)

	This intimate setting and gracious,welcoming staff made us feel more like guests in an elegant home than a hotel. With sweeping views of Loch Ness from every room in the hotel including our own, we felt as if we were on the Loch from the advantage of a variety of "comfy" settings. We hated to leave our nest and go back to reality!

	This a fantastic place to stay you won't fine anywhere better! Its 5 stars and lives up to all expectations, great food, great service and the most incredible View of Loch Ness. Highly recommended !!! (This review has been edited)
