	Fantastic hotel, every member of staff genuinely appeared to care about the guests. Large, modern rooms, really nice location, you wouldnt know you are only 5 minutes from the centre of Glasgow, and the food was top notch. Got a great rate for dinner, bed and breakfast, will definitely be my default hotel for Glasgow area from now on.

	Beautiful period hotel in an attractive suburb of Glasgow. We enjoyed a brief, but very nice, stay in a junior suite which was a lovely, large room with fabulous views of the surrounding area. The attractive bathroom was huge with a large shower and free-standing bath. Have stayed before and would stay again.

	We arrived at the hotel by car in the evening and were warmly welcomed. The receptionist and staffs were so helpful and attentive. Room was nicely decorated and kept clean. Dinner was wonderful. If we have a chance again to travel to Glasgow, we will definitely come back there.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Staff were very pleasant and more than accommodating. Depending on which part of the hotel you stay, rooms are either very spacious and contemporary (annex), or have that traditional, Victorian feel (main part of the castle). Bathrooms in both were stylish and pristine. Was very nice to be welcomed on arrival by a traditional Scottish bag-piper who was playing at the wedding being held that day. Lounge bar has a very pleasant atmosphere and fantastic views. We enjoyed a 3 course meal in the restaurant and although it wasn't cheap, every course was exceptional and the fillet steak was cooked to perfection. I was a little disappointed to discover breakfast was self-service rather than a la carte. Food is kept warm on hot plates and as a result, we found the eggs to be a bit rubbery. Overall, I very pleasant stay indeed.

I was extremely pleased with my gem of a find of Sherbrooke Castle Hotel for a night's B & B when my partner and I visited Glasgow at the beginning of October 2011. The building itself is very impressive and the room we were allocated and the breakfast were equally so, and all for a fair price. The staff were all very friendly and inviting. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend to anyone looking for anywhere to stay in Glasgow. It's a shame we live so far away in South Wales otherwise we would be staying with you a lot more often.

My wife and I were married at the Sherbrooke and I have to say, I am 100 % satisfied. The staff were all excellent, the food was out of this world, and our room was great. We also found a great flower garden within walking distance, and an art house, making this portion of our marriage and honeymoon an adventure we will never forget. 	Breath taking rooms, great friendly staff, very clean hotel with not a hair out of place. Very easy access to city centre and the beautifull pollock park. As a hotel l would reccommend it to couples rather than family vacation.

My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at Sherbrooke Castle for the staff fulfilled all our expectations that had been given on the website. Our room was very well furnished and the meals included various healthy components. Maybe one could offer guests a greater vatriety of meals to choose from - but the meals as such were absolutely delighting. We were also very satisfied with the members of staff - they all tried to offer a very good service to us - we never felt that we were left alone when having questions or any concerns. All in all, our honeymoon at Sherbrooke Castle was a pleasant week filled with lots of delighting moments.

	We only stayed one night and did not have an evening meal but our stay was enjoyable. Friendly staff, relaxed informal atmosphere. We had a large front facing room, which was great and our room and bathroom was spotless. We had a drink in the bar, which was fine, but I was looking forward to a real ale which they did not have. This was the only disappointment for me.

	Lovely hotel, excellent service, great food,good value.Fantastic location..in beautiful residential area but very close to station with frequent, cheap trains to city centre. Rooms needed a little bit of maintenance though..our window wouldn't shut and the bedside lampshade was very wobbly.

Wonderful. Our first night away from our 13 month old son and this was perfect - from the moment we arrived in a taxi from the train station, sweeping up towards the Sherbrooke Castle made us smile. It just looks the part! Going inside to check in and then up to our Junior Suite things got better. A wonderful large shower and a romantic claw foot bath were particular highlights. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Service with a smile from everyone we came across.

	Your receptionist was most helpful in getting my boarding pass printed from the internet. We were in the garden rooms. Was a bit surprised that there was no window that could be opened. Otherwise all was great.

Lovely Hotel, Nice Friendly Staff, Only problems was when it came to being served brandy but not in a brandy glass and then looked puzzled when asked for the glass to be changed and warmed and the flush button for the toilet in the bedroom being broken (only minor thing but they just take the edge off it being perfect - apart from that wonderful stay and we would definatlkey reccomend to friends and family and also stay again when we are next in the area

	Das Sherbrooke Castle ist -wie der Name schon sagt- ein sehr schönes Hotellschloss. Für verliebte Paar bestens zu empfehlen. Das Ibrox (Rangers FC) ist zu Fuß in 10 Min zu erreichen. Die Stadtmitte mit Taxi (10 Pfund) auch in 10 min.

This was beyond our expectation! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were lucky as we got an upgrade. The facility was great. The room was spacious. The bath tub was beautiful. The shower was powerful. There was free internet WFII access and a flat screen TV. The food was lovely. We thought it was a tremendous bargain for the price we paid. We definitely recommend it and will hope to be able to return soon. Great work and thank you for the hospitality.

	Great historic property in a very quiet and exclusive area, a bit away of the city center (4km aprox). Very spacious room, recently renovated and acceptably furnished, specially the bathroom. All Staff was very kind and helpful and breakfast better than average in 4 star Scotland criteria. I do recommend it, 4 star even with the Spanish hotel category in a lovely historic building.

	El Castillo nos pareció muy bonito, pero nos sentimos muy defraudados con la habitación que nos dieron que estaba fuera del castillo en un edificio bajo y con vistas a un jardin que estaba lleno de basura de obras que se habían realizado. Cuando hicimos la reserva no nos lo comunicaron, de haberlo hecho no hubieramos ido y hubieramos elegido otro sitio.

	Found this hotel by chance on the internet. Stayed in the main hotel and it was lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Excellent. Would stay again.

	We stayed at Sherbrooke Castle following our tour of HighLand Castles. Exceptional service, exceptional place and probably the best food of our holiday. I recomend an early morning walk in the Sherbrooke street.

	The place is amazingly beautiful, both inside and out! Not too far from the city centre, but in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff is very friendly. We didn't have much of a view from our window, but otherwise the room was wonderful, too.

	The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful - thank you! The situation of the hotel is excellent, as is the impressive building itself. Very happy that the bar is open all night - good for nightcaps. Only one thing, despite the nice, clean, comfortable room, I was a bit disappointed that our room wasn't in the main building. 	We recently stayed at the Sherbrooke Castle hotel when we were through in Glasgow to attend the Paul McCartney concert. It is a very nice homely hotel. Our suite was large and comfortable (and had a good view of the city). Our evening meal and breakfast were very good and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. This is a very nice part of the city. There are some beautiful properties nearby.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and colleagues. Great location - 5 minutes from the nearby railway station and only 5 minutes from Central Station. I stayed for 2 nights and had a beautiful room recently refurbished to a very high standard. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Great food and good wine.... Booking online was so easy - i will definitely stay again! Thank you.

The hotel is very charming. The staff are friendly and helpfull. My room and its bathroom were very modern, clean and spacious. This is always a concern when staying in an older hotel. The food in the dining room was excellent. We ate dinner there on both nights of our stay. Here are a things that could be improved. The pillows on my bed were thin and hard, and no extra pillows were provided. On arrival there was no doorman or bellhop to assist carrying luggage up either the exterior stairs at the main entrance, or the staircase inside. That was really noticeable. Also there was no elevator, which struck me as odd as well. This hotel would not be allowed to operate in the U.S. due to our requirements for accomodating handicapped people. The number of TV channels available in my room was very low by U.S. standards. However, this was true of every hotel we stayed in during our trip to England and Scotland. On the whole I loved Scotland and would recommend this hotel. I hope these comments are helpfull.

Fabulous. booked after looking at the hotel on the website, later read some reviews and was worried about what we may find, however everything was brilliant. The room was just what you would expect from a 5star hotel, the food excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. The location was exellent and we used the local transport to get in and out of the City Centre as it was so near. Would ( and have) recommended this hotel. I did try and find fault but couldn't.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the hotel, it was everything we expected having chosen it from the website. The suite we had was lovely and the en suite facilities were beautiful. Breakfast was a delight and we didn't have to get up at dawn to enjoy it! We were there during the volcanic ash saga and the staff responded very well - reorganising our flight and booking us another room. If you're staying in Glasgow spoil yourself and stay at the Sherbrooke Castle.

	As always I was more than very satisfied with my stay. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are very friendly. helpful and accommodating. The food was wonderful. My only critcism is the lack of Sky TV in the rooms. A hotel can be a lonely place despite the excellent staff and for a 4 star hotel the lack of satellite TV is surprising.

Our booking was last minute and we had no expectation of the hotel. That said, we were absolutely delighted with it. Although we did not spend much time at the hotel, we were even impressed with the quaint yet magestic setting. Situated within a residential area, we could see the architecture of the turets pearing above the surrounding buildings as we approached. The staff were very attentive and when we asked them to call a taxi for us, they even offered to drive us to the wedding we were attending. The room traditional with a period 4 poster bed(though the matress needs replaced), and breakfast most enjoyable.

	A lovely small hotel just outside the centre of Glasgow in a quiet residential area. We booked a jnr suite which was very spacious and comfortable with a fabulous contemprary bathroom. The bar and restaurant looked very nice but we only had the opportunity to sample the breakfast which was excellent. I have already recommended the hotel to friends.

	We were in a new part in the back. Although the outside temperature was pleasant, the room was generally too hot. The window would open only a little at the bottom. We kept it open the whole time, but workers on another new part started talking loudly by 7AM. Breakfast pastries would have been much better if they could have been heated.
