	Very enjoyable. we had a room near the car park but found it very quiet. Used the leisure facilitie, although they were small and it was bank holiday weekend, it wasnt mobbed and the added hairdriers and straihgtners were a welcomed surprise. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. There was a good choice and staff were very cheerful and helpful.

	the staff were very helpful... the only thing that could be improved was the service in the bar... the bar was very small especially for weddings.. but in overall enjoyed my stay..

	While there was plenty of local information in the lobby there wasn't much in the bedroom.Perhaps either some information in the room or something to direct you to the information in the lobby.

This is our second stay at a fantastic hotel- ideally located to get to where you want to go. The staff are very pleasant polite and the hotel staff are very accommodating to our party of four – we needed an adjoining room which they were able to sort for us due to one member of our party having a full time carer. We would recommend this hotel highly for the service they provided to us – hence why we booked for the second time running... great value for money and excellent rooms and food. This was a momentous stay - as the family gatherered from Galway, Navan and Newbury to celebrate a nieces first communion. The rooms were spacious, staff courteous and so helpful - organising the dinner table in a suitable arrangment for us all - 10 in total - food was excellent, The atmosphsere was so relaxed yet staff were attentive, we definitely will be back to celebrate future family occasions in the Oranmore Lodge Hotel.

	Traditional Irish Hotel feel - friendly staff and homely atmosphere. I recommend the suites - big and roomy. I held meetings in the room - very handy. Played a round of golf at Galway Bay Golf Club down the road - what a great course to have next door

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, was a beautiful spot, pool and leisure facilities were great, and the Executive suite was great, great size, great room, great value... The food was great from the bar, fish and chips are amazing and good value for money too...Not far from Galway and buses are very regular, takes around 15 minutes to get into the city, either by bus or taxi... We'd definitely go back again to stay at the Oranmore Lodge Hotel.

I stayed 1 night at Oranmore Lodge on a business trip around Ireland. It was what I wanted. Good food at affordable prices, a comfortable and well appointed room. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Th only slight negative was that the broadband was limited. I was given free vouchers for 1 hour by reception. Internet access is almost the No 1 for me when I am travelling and I pick hotels on the basis of free in room broadband - the situation should be clarified. I will be back when I need ti stay in the area again.

On arriving I was in my usual form looking for the preety bottles in my bathroom-There was none.A family of four we had three towels.The room was good size.Nothing for kids to do except the small swimming pool-Ah well. Went into the town for a italian meal and wow-fantastic standard and reasonably priced.Then back to the hotel.We went into the bar and I meet fantastic professional staff.Kids we're very welcome and they all joined up and had a ball.I requested a cheese board to Have with my wine and the food was tops.5* standard.To cut a long story short the staff and food made it happen.

	I thought the room was very nice, very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the food was very nice in the restaurant and the bar was very nice. The staff were always very friendly and willing to help you at any time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone to stay.

	the room we were given had obviously not been used for some time and was freezing cold staff left a plug in heater in the room when I complained but this was not on . I then requested another room but was told there was none so I left losing my deposit wont be recommending this hotel.

I had a bit of luggage with me and it was difficult not having a lift available in the hotel. I had booked a wake up call, and it never happened. The first room I was given had a continuous buzzing sound in it, so I asked for a change. It was difficult to access internet, even with the instructions. Food was lovely but expensive. The bar was uncomforable, very bright and noisy with the television up very loud. Staff were friendly and professional.

Upon arrival (around 3pm) we were advised the heating was broken so the lobby area and our room was absolutely freezing. The sauna in the leisure area was also out of order. We were told the heating problem was being worked on but when we returned to the hotel (around 6.30pm) it was still not working. An electric heater was provided in the room but this was not effective to heat it. We had booked a suite in order to have a litle extra space. The 'suite' was in fact a room just slightly larger than the standard. There was a large tv but no sofa sitting area or slippers as advised online. All in all the hotel offered very poor value for money. Not offering even a continental breakfast for a rate of 99 euro in a location well outside the city was poor. Upon checkout there was no apology for the heating situation the day before. This would have been appreciated. The overall look and feel of the hotel is jaded and in need of a facelift. The rates and the hotel rating are not reflective of the reality.

	we have stayed at this hotel many times and I would definitely recommend it. the staff are always very helpful, food is lovely and it is great for families as they have microwave and fridge. The leisure centre is also great. it is not really luxurious but it ticks all the boxes for a pleasant stay.

	Nice to see the leisure facilities maintained to a good standard. Many hotels are letting leisure facilities standards decline I believe. Food was lovely, prehaps the resturant service was a little rushed as the meals came out so quick! All in all great to see the standards are being maintained in terms of staffing, facilites and maintenance and wish all well for the future.

I enjoyed my brief stay at the Oranmore Lodge, though I was very disappointed with the internet access. From the website I understood that there was internet access in each room but when I approached the front desk I was asked how long I would be online and told I could have the first 30mins for free but that I would have to pay after that. I understand some hotels still charge for internet access, my problem is this was not alluded to on the website. Internet access is an important element for me in choosing hotels.

	no trolleys available to bring luggage in hotel as bus stop is not near hotel. its very hard to bring luggage during check in and check out especially when its raining you have to take taxi which cost 5 to 6 euros. its hotel responsibility to provide help in this matter.you cannot make rooms cooler or warmer on your own.my room was cooler during stay and i complained about it.

	We enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and comfortable [although we had upgraded ] and the food in the dining room and bar was very good. The only downside was the breakfast room which was small,the tables very close together with a lot of noise and hustle and bustle...not a place to relax over a leisurely breakfast.

	We have stayed here twice and on both occassions had a very enjoyable stay. The staff know their job and are very friendly. We had a lovely room on both occassions and there is a nice feeling of a family run hotel. It may be a little faded around the edges but this is more than made up for by the staff and service which you just dont find in modern faceless hotels.

	Very pleasant, honest hotel with good facilities. Quiet at night in comfortable rooms. Food was very good and staff were excellent. Prices were also very competitive and unmatched anywhere else in Galway for the time we were there. Looking forward to another stay sometime soon.

	We stayed here for four nights. The location was very peaceful and convenient for everything we wanted to do. The swimming pool/workout facility was an added bonus. The room was spacious and had a small refrigerator, so we went to the local grocery store and bought breakfast items to have in the room. The access to free internet and a computer was a great way for us to stay in touch with family.

	Beutiful historic building and furnishings. Nice rooms. Very clean and comfortable. We did not use the pool and workout facility so cant comment. Good food.

The staff were friendly and helpfull. We had a microwave in room which was excellent when you have kids for heating milk and dinners, we also had a fridge for keeping drinks cool. The food in the restuarant was excellent, we had 1 eve meal included in our stay but decided to eat there the following night. It was also a short drive away from the city centre for shopping. i would definatly stay there again. My parents were also with us and thoroughly enjoyed there stay. The leisure centre was also excellent were we met some friendly locals.

	Probably the best breakfast that we have had in an Irish hotel in a long time- genuinely just like the ones Mum used to make. Excellent leisure facilities.

	It was just great - fabulous friendly homely service, excellent food, got a great big room with 2 double beds - what comfort!! For once the staff actually chatted to you compared to other hotels where they dont't bother - and it made my stay worth while. would definitely return - great hotel.

	I really enjoyed my stay at Oranmore Lodge Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, rooms were spacious & spotless. Bar was relaxing and cocktails divine. I will definitely return and have recomended it to all of my friends and family.

	I have stayed in many hotels around Ireland and I have to say that the Oranmore lodge hotel was on of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, waitress was excellent, pool, steam room etc. were clean, right temp. all good! Would definitely stay in this hotel again. Have already recommended it to others!

Great customer service at the front desk (although they did mix up my credit card details w/ my girlfriends and charged her the bill - her card was only used to make the booking through bookassist, does bookassist pass on the deposit credit card details to the hotel?) The food was very nice; thought breakfast would have been better without the buffet-style fry and table service instead. The dinner menu was delicious and the staff were friendly. Room service was excellent, even folding our clothes!! The leisure centre was great - pool, sauna, jacuzzi - and right next to the hotel. Also the bus to Galway city went right by the road every 30 mins so it was great for shopping. All in all, a great holiday in a lovely city, would recommend the Oranmore Lodge to anyone!

	The stay itself was lovely and met expectations however they had no record of our reservation when we arrived and we had to prove our booking existed by logging on to our own e-mail address and showing the confirmation e-mail. Not very professional and we dread to think what situation we would have been in had there been no rooms available.

	The hotel was really nice and the staff were excellent. We were greeted very warmly on arrival and the receptionist was very helpful, as we had a baby with us she changed our room to one on ground floor so we wouldn't have any problems getting the pram around.. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was absolutely beautiful. I would recommend at stay at the Oranmore Lodge anytime.

	The Lodge is in a wonderful building, but the extensions did not keep with the style or opted for 'cheaper' materials options. We were not given the option of smoking/non-smoking room and landed in a smoking room, which had a musty smell. Building maintenance overall not great. Reception on TV on basic channels (RTE1, 2 TV3 & TG4) not great. Bar service not great. Food slightly overpriced.
