comments our stay at the hotel was only for one night, the lady at reception was so lovely and friendly make us feel extremely welcome. we were offered a late check out which was greatly appreciated due to our short stay. ideal location for a night in galway city. lovely hotel, nice bar and lovely room, sufficed everything we needed and were looking for. well definitely return,

comments I have to say it was brilliant from beginning to end,the staff were so friendly and helpful,nothing was a problem.i kept saying this is like a Carsberg add,the all day breakfast and late check out was an added bonus and the food was yummy.really and truly a great experience

comments Fron the moment we entered the premises we were treated with a friendly welcome, all staff we encountered were most helpful and courteous. The tea and scones on arrival were a lovely treat, deeply appreciated on a bitterly cold day.Dinner was excellent especially the steak which was second to none(hopefully Irish).Overall excellent value for money.

comments We really enjoyed our stay very much in the Forster Court Hotel. Room and service was very good, bed and PILLOW very comfortable, view from room, not so good.(Caps are to remind front of house staff to follow up on what was promised) Late breakfast is a treat and must be complemented.Bar staff were very good and helpful with local information.

comments I would like to thank all the staff that our stay (it was my mum's 60th birthday) was an absolute pleasure. Since the minute we arrived we were treated as special guests and it never stopped for a second. Excellent service at the reception, in the morning at breakfast, at night in the restaurant, etc. I would recommend Forster Court Hotel to anybody and I will. I will choose this hotel next time too when I'm in Galway.

The staff was genuinely nice, especially in the restaurant where they explained how the breakfast was going to be done with buffet table first and, then took our order for full breakfast....Food was very good considering the cost of the room. Would recommend this place to friends. Good location too.

comments We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great - so close to the city but still very relaxing. The option of having an all day breakfast and the no time limit on check out is a great idea and allows guests more time to enjoy the hotel. The food in the restaurant was varied, reasonably priced and delicious. Overall a great stay and we will be returning.

comments Yet again i had a brilliant stay in the forster Court hotel. I stayed here 2 years ago aswell and i found then and now outstanding. Staff are so friendly and helpful and accomodated myself and my friend perfectly. Hotel itself is so relaxing, clean and i recommend it to all when i telling them about my stay in Galway. comments I am glad you sent me this form as I was intending to write to you but never got around to it. We had a wonderful time in Galway. We arrived around 11 much earlier than our check in time and we were given a room that was ready as it hadn't been used the night before. This was most convenient but not expected. The staff at all times were friendly, happy, and most helpful. I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone going to Galway in terms of location, service, facilities and we will be back to visit again for a longer stay. Thank you very much. Joan Hunt

comments I would like to say first of all i booked on line and in never said your hotel was under construction. We were shocked that we couldnt go for a drink or food in the hotel, i know its pretty central to go else where for food and drink but thats not the point we should have been imformed. when we checked in we were never told we read a notice about it-- not impressed. we checked in got up to our room, room was nice. 5 hours later we were taking the car out cost €14.00 and €10.00 the next morning so much for €10.00 over night!! we went to the lady on the desk and she told us there was nothing she could do. overall dont think i would rush back.

comments I thought my stay at this hotel was very good. It is a great spot for young people wanting to go out no waiting for taxi's back its just a short walk from the Sqaure. Its also great for shopping everything is so close at hand. The hotel itself is lovely an simple, its great because it has late breakfast times too!! I would diffently stay in the Forster Court Hotel again.

comments Everything was wonderful, from check in to check out! We had drinks and food in the bar, staff were very frendly and helpfull. The reception staff could not have been better, I had booked for two nights but at different times so different bookings with the first night being a triple room and the second just a double, they allowed me to stay in the same room for both nights, this saved me a lot of time and effort. When I heard breakfast was served till 12 I was delighted as I was in Galway for my Graduation and didnt want a very early morning. The only small thing that bothered me was the breakfast staff, they gave us no welcome, never explained were we could sit or about the buffet or ordering our breakfast. Once we were served they ignored us until we left, as they had cleared in the buffet at 11.55 I had to go looking for a staff member to get more orange juice. I am a recently promoted duty manager in a hotel and found that it is a shame that such a small thing would put a dampner on such a wonderful hotel Debbie Toner

comments Very comfortable couple of days at the Forster Court in October. Room was certainly better than expected (upgraded from single to large double which is always nice !). Good bathroom with toiletries and fluffy towels, and excellent white pudding included in the Full Irish breakfast. Certainly handy enough for the Galway nightlife, albeit a long walk down down to Salthill for the city's only craft ale pub - ah well !

comments This was a wonderful stay in Galway. Location is excellent, just around the corner from the main square and a very short walk to the main "action" of Galway. Breakfast was great, staff was extremely helpful and charming too, willing to give directions and assistance. Car park with discounted parking just around the corner as well. Will definitely stay there any time I travel to Galway.

comments We had a lovely stay at this hotel-it was perfectly located close to Eyre Square. The reception staff and porter were excellent and really gave a great customer service experience. Also loved the late check out and breakfast-major plus when you are wanting to sample the nightlife in the city!I would definitely book in here again the next time im in Galway.

comments This is an excellent hotel in a great down-town location. Restaurant served good food with friendly service (especially young waitress, Etha). Our only wish was closer parking. If we are in Galway again, we would certainly hope to stay at Forster Court.

comments Unfortunately the weather was very hot, which was the only reason we were uncomfortable as the weather was unusually hot the weekend we stayed there. We have recommended it to family and friends though as we know that that was a sheer question of timing. everything was wonderful. the late breakfast was fantastic as we were both just finishing long weeks as work so it meant we got lots of rest and relaxation. the bar had very excellent entertainment on the Thursday night with the big band and all in all everyone was very friendly and helpful

comments For the price, Forster Court really can't be beat. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Was originally only planning to stay in Galway one night, but ended up coming back to Galway later in the week and didn't think twice about booking a room at Forster Court again. Would absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in Galway.

comments Everything was really great. I had to ring the hotel once or twice to ask different questions and each time the person on the phone was so pleasant and helpful. The room was absolutely beautiful and had a nice view. The staff were just great and so welcoming. I am definitely recommending this hotel to everyone I know. Such great service for such a cheap room, definitely worth a visit... Or two... The only one complaint (and why I did not give 5/5) that I would have would be that there is no free parking. Still €10 for 24 hours isn't the worst!

comments Generally very satisfied indeed. Staff was friendly and courteous, helpful and efficient. Room was pleasant, spacious, well-equipped and clean. The only negative was the breakfast room which was very cramped and noisy on the two mornings there was a large tour group present. On the other hand, the breakfast was good and ample, and the service, pleasant and rapid. I would definitely recommend it.

comments I was really happy with my brief stay here. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable. My only small complaint is that the street outside was quite noisy and that maybe the windows should have double glazing to block out the sound.
