comments My stay at the Clybaun was extremely pleasant and I would certainly recommend it. The decor and rooms were nice, clean and spacious and the hotel facilities such as gym, hot tub & swimming pool an added bonus. I was particularly pleased with the efficiency and helpfulness of staff and found the bar food to be palatable and value for money. If I had to search for a fault it would have to be the fact that the elevator was out of service on the day we were leaving which meant having to manage carrying an 18month old as well as a suitcase down 4 flights of stairs but I certainly wouldn't let this prevent me from booking into the Clybaun when next in Galway.

comments Rooms were big and tastefully decorated, Staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. I needed a taxi in a hurry one evening and reception had one there for me within minutes. I will be back.

comments Staff were extremely friendly and helpful .Food was excellent.Room was clean and tidy.Great gym facilities.Fire doors seemed to be left open in the corridors and would benefit from a self closing mechanism.

comments The hotel is immaculately clean, there is a great bus service into the city centre & the staff were just wonderful. They made me feel so at home & they were so so pleasant. I will definately be staying at the Clybaun Hotel again.

comments Fantastic Hotel, had lovely stay, nicer than we could have thought, beautiful surroundings,rooms,bar and restaurant, and loads more facillities we would have loved to try if we were there longer. The staff were very friendly and helful,nothing was too much for them, going out of there way to help us with other things. Would highly recommend this hotel for everything,rooms were very spacious,and comfortable. wish we could have stayed longer. The entertainment layed on was terific, as we went up to a place in Sautill that was very quiet with no people only two couples, we came back to the hotel and had a brialliant night, the atmosphere was great,and live music, it made our night, and was packed with people. being out were we went

comments This was our second stay in the Clybaun and this was even better (where possible) then the last visit. The girls on reception was v professional, warm, welcoming and good humoured. Staff in the restaurant were more then obliging and couldn't do enough for us.

comments Extremely hard to find a car park space at night, and very noisy for the rooms over the smoking area at night....Room was a bit grubby, but service was excellent, as was the food, so this more than made up for that.

comments I loved the Clybaun Hotel but disappointed with the restaurant. I had a meal on 14th feb with my 83 year old mother. She ordered lamb but it was very tough. I had fajita's which i didnt like as it was basically chicken in tined tomatoes. The breakfast the first morning was very cold and it was only 9am and breakfast didnt finish until after 10am. Breakfast the second morning was great. I am not a complainer but because you sent me this email im just being honest. loved the hotel though kids had a ball and staff are very helpful ........

comments I had a really nice stay in the clybaun hotel. All the staff are very helpfull and very friendly. The only complaint i would have is that the hotel room were unbelievabley hot and stuffy for some strange reason.

comments lovely hotel, however as we are both vegeterians, on arrival we ordered stirfry and noodles, there was no noodles available, very poor vegeterian menu, no mushrooms in stirfry and no mushrooms or tomato available for breakfast, also no fruit or yoghurt.

comments I was travelling from Salthill out to the Clybaun and expected it to be difficult to find and in the middle of a housing estate as I had read in one customer review..this was not the case...it was easy to find and was just off a larger roundabout. I was very pleasantly surprised with the reception area it was big, modern and inviting and staff were very friendly. The rooms were very adequate to say the least and I throughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor hot tub. That evening we had a very tasty meal in the bar and some drinks before heading into the city. I will definately return to the Clybaun and next time try out the restaurant.

comments The hotel was clean and modern but the swimming pool was taken up by lane-swimming and a swimming instructer when I was there so was not happy with that. Also in lieu of the water problems in Galway I think that bottled water in guests rooms would have been a nice touch.

comments The room was very nice and the cot was in the room for our baby when we arrived which was fantastic, the evening meal was excellant, however, the breakfast was only ok - no variety of fruit or yogurt. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, specially the supervisor in the Restaurant (Pls pass this comment on re supervisor)

comments Images of the hotel on web sites do not show that it is located in the middle of a housing estate. Staff were pleasant, rooms were spacious and clean, food was good and overall value excellent. We did not use the leisure centre.
