The hotel could do with a complete upgrade. Very old and shabby in places but clean. Restaurant - service and food not good. |

We enjoyed our stay in the Carlton Hotel, the food in the Restaurant was excellent and the waiting staff were friendly and very efficient. The breakfast unfortunately wasn?t great and the service was the same. If I was to stay there again I would request a room with a view of the Lough. The room we were allocated was recently refurbished and was very nice but the view from our window was dreadful, so we changed to another room in the older part of the building, décor not great and view not much better, so I would recommend when booking request a room in the newly refurbished part with a view. Other than that we enjoyed our stay there. |

Hotel was nice and clean, good service in the restaurant and bar and friendly staff. Stayed on a two night B&B one dinner package, meal in restaurant was very good. Would stay again.

staff were very friendy & helpful. The room was very nice but a little cold on arrival but warmed up after we turned the heat on. The menu for the inclusive evening meal was a bit limited in my opinion with very little variety or choice. |

Staff very friendly and helpful. Midweek hotel was quite quiet. Only problem was noise outside bedroom window which was possibly a kitchen van. |
