comments Overall we found our stay in your Hotel excellent. Friendly staff, a very substantial and varied breakfast was served and the Food in your restaurant at night time was lovely. We had been told that the Hotel can be quite noisy at night time. We didnt find this to be the case with the exception of being able to hear the music from the night club (we were staying on 1st Floor) but as we were late going to bed it didnt really affect so.

comments Great location, nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Just be aware that if you are staying in this hotel you are in the heart of Dublin, so noise levels can be very high till the wee hours of the morning!

comments Location brilliant, room had standard double bed (used to queen-size) but very comfortable, other facilities in room were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were very good - too good for the waistline. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

comments we requested an upgrade but the room we were given was a bit smelly. the bathroom, although clean, smelt of urine. i have a very sensitive smell and my friend didnt notice so we stayed in the room and bought some air fresheners. the food in the hotel was lovely and when we told them about the smell they didnt charge us for the upgrade. overall our stay was very enjoyable

comments We did enjoy our stay at temple bar.Howevwer the night we had our dinner we were disapointed with area. We felt the seating area was very shabby and unkempt.However the meal was delicious ( out compliments to th chef)and we were surprised by this as the ambiance and overall condition of dining space was very poor, dark and gloomy.

comments my vacation to Ireland was one of the best ever. Temple Bar Hotel was pleasant, comfortable and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Everyone was polite and helpful. It defiantly earned a return visit.

comments Hotel in posizione stragetica, pulito e con personale disponibile, colazione idonea a soddisfare anche i palati più esigenti, ottima la possibilità di usufruire del servizio cena al Buskers e nel week end la Terrace Restaurant. Un ottimo punto di partenza per tutte le escursioni. Da riutilizzare tranquillamente.

comments The hotel was clean and in close proximity to everything you would want for a lively night out. unfortunately while we were staying at the hotel there were works being carried out in the basement of the hotel. After having a late night out our first night, we were horrified to be woken by the noise of a kango hammer at 8.00 am, which was almost constant from then until 6.00 pm. My partner went to reception that morning and asked would the work be continuing for the next two nights of our stay and the receptionist was flippant with her reply and said she would speak to the manager. My partner requested that if at all possible could they keep the hammering from starting until at least 10.00am for the rest of our stay as we were wanting to relax and catch up on some much needed sleep while on holiday. The next two mornings began the kangos again. If we had any sense we would have asked for a refund after the first night but we presumed it would be hard work getting another place such short notice in dublin and money we had to spend might not cover the move. This ruined our time in dublin and both of us had to take another days holiday on our return to get over what should have been a relaxing and pleasant time off. Perhaps the hotel could have informed us before hand of this work and then we could have made up our own minds on whether or not we wanted to stay.

comments To be honest, as honesty is required our stay was nothing more than average. One a positive note I cannot fault the staff who were always friendly and helpful. On the negative side the room wasn't great. We asked for an interior room away from outside noise and instead we got an outside facing room that was internally attached to a staff room which filled with loud chatting staff members from 8am. We were awoken every morning at 6am with the noise from outside. The door to our room didn't close properly, the bed was two singles pushed together which was both uncomfortable and unromantic. Further, the bath was marked as a jacuzi bath but it didn't work at all, the bath towels were tiny and not big enough to dry yourself properly in. The furniture was cheap looking and marked, the curtains stained with I don't know what and the food was over-priced greatly for its average quality. We travelled to Paris after our stay and stayed in a similar 3* hotel which was brilliant comfortable and romantic. In summary, Templebar hotel is an okay hotel to stay in for short business needs but not somewhere you would like to stay for a comfortable romantic or relaxing holiday.

comments My 84 year old mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Temple Bar Hotel. room was fine, clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is undergoing needed renovations, when finished it's sure to be a 5. Location absolutely perfect. Would definitely return.

comments I requested a quite room when I booked and I also rang the hotel on the day of arrival to make sure they had my request for a quite room - I got the noisest room in the hotel - over the nightclub entrance and right beside the lift where the door hadn't ever been oiled and squeeked constantly. I had a dinner included in my package and when I went to the restaurant she asked for a voucher which I had not received when I checked in. I had to leave the restaurant and go to reception for it. Breakfast service was a disaster both mornings. I asked for bacon, tomatoes and an egg and the waiter told me they couldn't go off the menu.... I eventually got it but only got half a tomato so I asked for more tomatoes - again the waiter said no the kitchen was very busy. 20 minutes later when I was getting up to leave the tomatoes arrived

comments Temple Bar Hotel situated in agreat location in the centre of Dublin very close to the airport bus stop 16A. The 3 star accommodation was of a higher standard than the typical for this rating and excelent value with the midweek offer of one evening meal included in the price.

comments Nicht gerade die Luxusklasse, aber in Bezug auf das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Top. Sauber. Reichliches Frühstück. Top Lage. Nettes Personal. Die Zimmer sind nicht gerade groß aber wenn mann nur darin schlafen will völlig ausreichend. Das Bad sollte mal wieder renoviert werden, war aber OK.

comments We had a fabulous holiday. The hotel itself was lovely and clean The upgrade since we had stayed before really made a difference. The reception staff, cleaning staff, restaraunt staff and bar staff were adsolutely fantastic. The quality of food and accommodating way friends were allowed to join us at dinner and at breakfast was really well done. Me and my friends will definitely be staying there again and also promoting it as a great central hotel to stay in.

comments we found the hotel to be very well situated, close to the city centre, bars and restaurants. Staff were pleasant and freindly. Breakfast was very good, the glass roofed restaurant was light and airy. The bedroom was well furnished and a goodsize, the addition of an umbrella left in the room, to use if neeeded was a nice touch, especially when we had rain on one of the days there. We would recommend this hotel to friends.

comments The hotel staff was helpful and curteous. The location was perfect. Hop-on-hop-off bus was a 5 min. walk, Bus to Airport was a 2 min. walk. Continental breakfast was sufficient and dinner voucher was unexpected. (wonderful dinner). Double bed was a little small (US, full size) but room was very clean and adequate. Fun location for night life if you want to join in. We had an interior room that was very quiet. Would stay again.

comments Schönes Hotel, die Lage ist super, wenn man in Mitten aller Pubs und Geschäfte sein möchte. Lärm von der Strasse war teilweise zu hören, war für mich aber nicht schlimm. Frühstück war leider nicht inbegriffen, jedoch zusätzlich erhältlich. Sehr freundliches Personal.

comments Great location in the city center. Breakfast very good and all the staff very helpful and friendly. But I have to say that it was very cold outside and central heating in the rooms and bathroomswas not very strong. So the room was a little bit cold.

comments Good room in nice hotel in the heart of Dublin. The umbrella left in the room for us to use was a nice touch as well. P.S. don't bother with the breakfast. There is a fantastic little cafe down the street that sells really good bagels, crepes and omelettes.

comments The hotel was beautiful and the service was great. The only thing I would have to caution would be on the bed in the hotel room. It did not provide a good night sleep as it seemed like the mattress was old and worn. Other than that I would stay there again if I would go back to Dublin.

comments excellent accueil, bon standing, très propre, chambres agréable avec tout confort, et surtout parfaitement bien situé en plein centre ville pret de tout. Petit déjeuner correct. Selon la chambre ou on se trouve, on peut parfois entendre le bruit de la rue un peu (moi j'étais plutot bien situé)

comments The hotel is located in the Dublin centre (Temple Bar) so any attraction can be reached in few minutes walking. It's plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel room and breakfast were good. Only recommendation if you have to hire a car is not doing that till you leave Dublin if you're staying in this hotel since any car park area that can be found close to the hotel is quite expensive (24?/d with hotel discount, 36?/d otherwise).

comments first night had very little sleep due to location of room and noise from outside but asked for a change of room which was arranged while we were out. this room was very nice and found the hotel very friendly and central for shops and entertainment. A plus for me was that the air coach for the airport stops on the corner.

comments The first night we had to stay at Trinity Capital Hotel because Temple bar had overbookings. We didn,t mind and made no fuzz about it and they were extremely helpfull and serviceminded in the reception.

comments We checked a few other sites for hotel reviews and went back and forth on whether to stay here. I am so glad we did! What a great hotel, so close to everything. Friendly staff, clean, and a bar open til 2am. Would recommend this place to anyone.

comments Had to wait a long time to get checked in even though it was 7pm..The parking rate which is apparently a reduction is Euro23 per night took me by surprise as it is astronomical. should be cheaper as a hotel guest

comments 1. Bit noisy due to the loud air conditioning unit/fans or similar that where situated in the back alley that our room overlooked. 2. The porter deciding to use the lift to move four large suitcases on a trolley whilst my partner and I were already in the lift having just checked in with our own bags was probably not the best idea. To make it worse he then dropped the suitcases on my leg whilst trying to manhandle the luggage trolley into the lift. To make this even more farcical we passed a perfectly good service lift on the way to our room that he could of used. 3. The Full Irish breakfast isn't very Full, 1 rasher of bacon, 2 puny sausages, 1 egg, 1 very small black & white pudding and half a tomato. 4. Beware of the maid entering the room to clean it at 0830, seeing you totally nude as my girlfriend found out, if you don't answer the door quick enough! 5. Very god location, clean room and pleasant staff. Even though it seems mostly negative we did have a good time and would probably use the hotel again.
