This is an amazing hotel. We really enjoyed a very relaxing weekend here. It is a short taxi ride from some nice restaurants and pubs in Malahide, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. It is a little far from the city center of Dublin, (20-30 min by cab and about 40-1 hour by bus) but the concierge and hotel staff are incredibly helpful in getting you there and back.

Service was excellent. Only bad thing was, we were woke at 5.30 on sunday morning with ones coming home, very noisy, which went on for 15 - 20mins and rang our bell, thought someone should have been on reception and sorted it out as our room was on the same floor.

Excellent hotel all round.
Had a couple of Irish coffee's in the Bar - the first one was excellent - (made by one of your East European staff) the second (made by an Irish member of staff) he wanted to use instant decaff coffee -he reluctantly used fresh coffee on my request - but the result still was not up to the standard of the first.
Otherwise food and other facilties excellent

We found the room perfectly satisfactory, the service was excellent, but Portmarnock was further from Dublin than we had expected.Because we only stayed one night, we are unable to comment on any of the facilities.
