comments Excellent all round. Staff friendly, breakfast superb. One thing I would change: the toilet paper seems very cheap and is the only thing which let's this excellent hotel down. Otherwise perfect.

comments Room clean and comfortable.It however wasn't quite the room with a view (wasteground and pylons) as stated on the leaflet in the room. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast was ok but the hot buffet was very low on food.

comments Excellant value for money, quality and size of rooms very good and in addition I received an upgrade to an executive suite. There is a very convenient bus stop which runs into the town centre was directly outside the hotel entrance, making travel in and out of Dublin cost effective and easiliy accessable. Courteous staff, would stay here again.

comments Very nice hotel although a little far from town. Rooms are very modern and bathroom is very good size. Staff was very helpful and courteous. There is a bus stop across the street from the hotel so transportation is not an issue. Nice hotel if you want to be near the airport.

comments I attended a wedding at the Park Plaza Tyrrelstown in March 2011 with my husband. The standard of decor and cleanliness in the hotel is excellent. The bride and groom were married on the premises and it was a beautiful and intimate ceremony. The meal served at the wedding was very well presented, very tasty and plentiful. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and facilities were excellent, with a separate shower and bath which is rare. Last breakfast in the hotel is 11am, which is great after a late night. Breakfast, a full Irish, was delivered to our room for a small charge of €5, which was lovely and helped cure a sore head. We had a late check-out, 2pm, free of charge and we were in no rush to leave. I would highly recommend this hotel.

comments V.happy..signage on tha approach was not as clear as it could been. It was a foggy night and I missed the turn and was heading for hollystown. From the carpark it was hard to make out where the reception area was..just seemed to blend in rather than stand out. Staff were great and room was lovely.

comments Hi we had a great time and the room was really really nice, I already spoke to the food and beverage manager about a incident which I have to pay up the bar bill before I can go to my room. The manager said that he will get back to me after our conversation buri haven't hear snything since but I do hope the information has been pass on for the further customers. Thanks a million

comments was very disapointed when i arrived to find out the package i booked which included a meal and breakfast for 59 pps was over booked and i was only getting room only for 119 euro!! the girl told me when u make a booking it goes to a different web page and "HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOTEL" i tought this was ridiculous! however the night went well the food we got to the room was lovely the service at the bar was quick and the room was 10 out of 10. would stay again but would not book on your website!!

comments Nice Hotel except lacked attention to detail. We were there on a Saturday and the Resturant was shut and the check in staff did not know this at check in. Room corridors had lots of trays left out from the previous evening, therefore the corridor was not just messy it was also a hazard. When we went to the bar for a drink it was dirty with lots of food on the floor. Lots of children running around, unsupervised.

comments Checked in late, appx 10pm- in November. Check in staff EXTREMELY pleasant and friendly. Room lovely but window wide open & room freezing ! To be fair, front desk dealt with problem quickly and efficiently but second room not as fabulous as first one !. Surely housekeeping should check all rooms pm to close up the windows after room turn round ? Would stay again though - positive experience in general. Staff to be complimented.

comments I was very impressed with my stay at this Hotel. Whilst the location is difficult to find the reception on arrival and friendly staff made it a most enjoyable stay. The reception room was very large and would have suited a much larger congregation but would be relatively easy to resolve utilising the partitions. Overll a very pleasant experience.

comments I dont have anything to complain about the hotel. We enjoyed a very pleasent stay at your hotel. The food was excellent. My husband is a coeliac and his dietary need were catered for without any hesitation. The wedding room was beautiful. The bedroms were very comfortable. The staff couldnt have been any more helpful. If I had one comment it would be that I thought the top table was a bit far away from the rest of the guests table - but maybe because it was a big wedding, that is the way it had to be arranged. As the hotel is only about four year old everything was new and modern. Well done to all the staff and please pass on my good wishes to them. I would certainly return to your hotel.

comments I enjoyed my stay,however the fact that I needed to provide photo i.d before I could check into my room caused an inconvience as I was not fore warned about this,Because I dont often carry photo I.d I was asked for a 100 euro deposit incase some damage was done to my room which I found quite insulting.Apart from this I found the staff v.friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Prices very competitive, free internet access excellent - more hotels should do this, it is vital and appreciated by the business traveller. Your staff are unfailingly helpful and polite. Food good.

comments Lovely stay. The only down side was that after food stopped serving at the bar, there were no snacks available such as crisps or peanuts etc.. A small thing but it would make a difference to have something small to have while enjoying a drink!

comments This was my second stay at this property and I could not have been more satisfied. Park Plaza Tyrrelstown offers its guest the ultimate in comfort with all the modern conveniences and amenities, and a staff that is friendly and helpful and really cares about their guests. I took the bus from the hotel to Dublin city center and back and it was extremely convenient and economical. I would definitely stay at this hotel over and over again!

comments The overall dexperience was excellent. Great value, friendly staff, beautiful garden/patio area, bar, restaurant are all well appointed & very nice rooms. Two areas that could be improved: staff serving food & drinks in the dining room didn't seem to know how to serve one table at a time, they went from one table to another without serving all the people at a table first. That happened several times and was a little annoying. Also, when it came to time to check in, everyone arrived together at the same time (roughly) but there was only one person on reception. I think when you're expecting a wedding crowd & have an idea when they'll arrive, there should be at least 3 people at reception for that time. Surely staff from another area can assist at reception for an hour or two. Just suggestions but it's a super hotel.

comments This was our first stay at Park Plaza, because our usual hotel was booked out. We were pleasantly surprised to find that, not only was it of equal standard, but in some areas surprassed our usual haunt. In particular, we found the staff friendly and accommodating and the bar menu prices for lunch very reasonable. We also enjoyed the outdoor bar-b-q while we were there. Will definately be back!

comments We have stayed at Park Plaza Hotel, Tyrellstown on a couple of occasions during the last few months. The room was lovely, to a very high standard and impeccably clean. The food was very good. On one occasion there was a delay with the kitchen and we were offered a complimentary drink while we waited which we thought was very nice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and overall we had a great stay.

comments Overall our stay in the park plaza was good, service was great at reception and at the bar, but we were a bit disapointed with the cleaners knocking on our door at 11am and then 11.30 am when check out wasnt until 12pm,this annoyed us. We ordered breakfast to the room and we werent too happy with the food for the price that we paid for it but overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and rooms were immaculate.

comments Overall room was good but needed freshening up with paint and the bed runner was a little dirty and was not replaced for the 5days. Gym was excellent but cleaning materials required for wiping down the machines after use would be a suggestion. when booking i asked for a smoking room but was given a non smoking and then had to move but done very professionally and speedily and when i went for breakfast the next morning i was told that my package didnt include breakfast when it did but this again was dealt with speedily too. Overall these were minor faults and i would definitely recommend this hotel for great service alone!

comments From arrival to departure all staff from the reception areas to the hotel bar were extremely polite and helpful (12.04.10-14.04.10). The room is 5 star at budget hotel prices also the bar food was of excellent value along with morning breakfast (We missed our beans). Will stay again and highly recommend to other colleagues & clients staying in the area.

comments A beautiful hotel, extremely good value for money, great grub, nice staff. The only draw back might be that you really need a car to get anywhere from the hotel and while that's true of most hotels around the country people travelling for a week-end to Dublin might be a little put out. That wasn't our experience as we were visiting north County Dublin. It's a great base for visiting anywhere north of the City Centre, we were in Malahide, Portmarnock, Howth etc. and even managed a visit to the famous IKEA which is only off the motorway as well. And I thought the garden was wonderful, particularly the seating area. I sat out one evening and read the paper and listened to the birds singing.

comments This hotel is beautiful. The staff and very friendly and go to every length to make your stay as pleasent as possible. My first stay was in a supierer room. It was a very large room and beautifully decorated. My most recent stay was in a junior suite. It had everything from a large modern sitting room area to speakers in the bathroom! Both rooms were amazing value. The hotel has a bar which really does have anything you could want to drink and a wide food range which is tasty. The restaurant serves amazing food in a lovely atmosphere and the waiters are very helpful. The hotel offers a great value buffet breakfast which serves everything from fruit and cereal to a full irish breakfast and pastries. I would definately recommend this hotel and I still go back often.
