comments our stay was very brief but was exactly what we needed. Arrived in Dublin early evening, walked to restaurant around the corner , taxied to further destination and walked home from town so the location is great. The room was very clean, warm and quiet even though we were on the ground floor and basic which is all we required on our one night stay, I would recommend your guest house.

comments I was completely happy with my stay at Morehampton Townhouse from September 9-11. It is located in a great section of town, only a short bus ride to Dublin's city center. The townhouse was very quaint and clean, the breakfasts inceditable. The staff was also very helpful. I will return !

comments La zona es muy tranquila en una buena urbanización con un parque muy bonito al lado. Buena combinación de autobuses al centro de Dublín. La wifi va bien, la única pega es que quizás para personas mayores sea poco recomendable ya que no tiene ascensor, supongo que porque es un edificio antiguo. El trato con el personal muy agradable.

comments We were in Dublin for the Script Homecoming Tour at the start of July for 3 nights. Great location close to the Aviva Stadium, not even 30 mins walk and the staff were more than happy to give directions to the stadium. The room was clean and very comfortable, good soft beds and all the necessary things were present (i.e, hairdryer, tea and coffee things, shampoo and soaps). There is a bus-stop right across the road from the Townhouse which both the 46a and 145 bus service pass, both of which bring you straight into the city centre at regular times, which is great. Staff were more than happy to help with any problems, directions, and ordering taxis when the time to leave arrived. Breakfast was lovely,, nice choice available for continental and also for the fry, you can choose what you want, meaning you aren't left with anything you don't like! A great little Townhouse, I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Dublin in the near future! :)

comments The room we stayed in was very clean it was a nice comfortable room. The service was excellent, the lady at the front desk gave us a map and gave us information about getting to certain places. Morehampton townhouse has easy access to the city centre and other attractions. I would reccommend staying there, I would also stay there again myself.

comments If you want serious, honest comments... The room was good, the bed very nice, we had a sound, comfortable night's sleep. The en-suite was top quality - except that the shower tray didn't drain away on the second morning. I have had "Full Irish Breakfast" elsewhere and was disappointed. I expected thick, Irish pork sausages, but got small, wizened looking things. Hash Browns and Pudding were on the menu, but when asking for "Full Irish" they weren't served. The bacon was leathery and the fried egg hard, due to having been cooked an hour earlier and kept warm. I understand that there is a limited number of staff and that a rush of guests would mean a wait if cooking fresh, but think that to be preferable to being served an inferior meal. When I expressed my disappointment before breakfast on the second morning, the staff member arranged that our bacon would be cooked at that time (as the restaurant was slack) so that it would be fresher when we came down for our breakfast - I also asked for (and got) scrambled egg and hash browns, so a better breakfast (but still little wizened sausages). I hope this is useful to you.

comments Nice, clean and affordable (for Dublin) accommodation, with all requisite cons. relative to price level. I would have given it a 5, if it weren't for the noise insulation problem. Noise insulation is terrible and depending on who your next door neigbhour is, you could be in for a difficult night (e.g. due to television volume, voices, etc.). However, I must stress that staff are extremely friendly and helpful with this and other issues (e.g. finding you a town map, bookings, directions, etc.) and really are a credit to this establishment.

comments The staff were friendly but the room was bleak and cold, with what seemed like a 40 watt bulb in the ceiling and no desk lamp. The website says that the hotel was recently refurbished. If so, it has been done very badly, as the paintwork on the stairs was a mess, and it looked as if any changes had been done to the cheapest specification possible. But it was cheap. At 45 euro I suppose I can't complain but if I had been paying the quoted price of 135 euro I would feel I had been well and truly ripped off. Peter, Cambridge, UK

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had to leave before breakfast time on my last morning, but was offered a selection of fruit to be left in my room instead, which i thought was very thoughtful. I will definitely stay there again. comments Rooms are perfectly fine, nothing fancy but what you'd expect for the price. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the breakfast is fantastic. About a 20 minute walk to the town centre.

comments The room was very clean and although at the front of the house and close to the road I didn't find it at all noisy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I'm looking forward to my next stay there.

comments Staff very helpful and friendly. We had a family room and it was spacious and clean. Breakfast was wonderful. We were sad that we couldn't stay a second night because we hadn't booked it in time, but the desk staff helped us get a room for the second night so our problem was solved by them. Very much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again. Bus stop close as well.

comments It's a former hostel that was turned into an hotel. It's still rather spartan, the bathroom was tiny, only a small plain soap was provided for toiletry and there was no decor to speak of. The reception staff was nice though and the airport shuttle stops just across the street. It's in a nice residential area next to Herbert Park but there isn't much else around. Downtown is within 5-10 minutes by bus or a 30 minute walk. The breakfast was plain especially the continental breakfast but again the staff was nice. The wifi didn't work, don't count on it.

comments Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hotel.Chambre donnant sur l 'arrière de l 'hotel, donc calme.Personnel trés sympa et acceuillant.Petit-déj ok. 30 minutes à pied du centre ville.Bus devant l'hotel tous les 1/4 d'heures. Seul bémol la propreté de la moquette .L'aspirateur n'avait pas été passé depuis quelques temps, ni pendant notre séjour. L'hotel a été récemment rafraîchit sauf... le plafond de notre chambre, trés vétuste et pas vraiment blanc. Bref ,problème au sol et au plafond. Sanitaires neufs, draps propres.Hotel correct pour ce tarif à Dublin.

comments Further from town and station than expected. On regular bus route to town and airport. Clean,quiet and comfortable room although quite small. Good breakfast, very good service. Management pleasant and helpful.
