Montrose was a lovely hotel and the staff were very welcoming. The prices of beverages were found to be slightly extortionate. A good location to discover the city of dublin.	report this review as inappropriate

In terms of accessibility to the city centre, the Montrose Hotel was conveniently located along the right bus routes. It afforded a very comfortable night's sleep and all the facilities were fine. The staff were not as friendly as I thought such staff should be. However, they were very obliging whenever I had a query or minor problem. Overall, a sound place, and very reasonably priced, in my opinion.	report this review as inappropriate

The room was nice and spacious.However they seemed really overwhelmed with a full house for breakfast the next morning. We had to ask for our table to be wiped down a second time before we ate and my hot breakfast had to be reheated. Unfortunate.	report this review as inappropriate

the hotel was very nice & comfortable all what you would expect one to be the only downfall was the bedrooms are extremley tiny compared to ones ive stayed in before and I was very disapointment we didnt have a bath this would be a must luury for my hotel stays. and the mini bar wuold not open which would not be fixed for a few days so drinks would have to be ordered through room service.	report this review as inappropriate

The Montrose Hotel has a smart entrance hall and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms don't quite reach the same standard but are clean and spacious, though the walls are thin.	report this review as inappropriate

The staff & Main menu food very good. Bar food could have been more Irish. Our room was near the lift and staircase making for a noisy night from the guests who returned to their bedrooms' at about 3 to 4 am with much noise and door slamming. This is my third time at the Montrose and every visit has been pleasant. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are very helpful, and the restaurant and the pub are most enjoyable. The hotel was nice.More staff needed on reception desk.tv and tv channels limited small bath average shower. It is a convenient location with several bus lines stopping nearby and has off-street parking, as well. An excellent buffet breakfast comes with the room. It is a standard 3 star commercial hotel.	report this review as inappropriate

room pleasant & clean(tho' carpet had seen better days) Very nice relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Food good especially the" a la carte " menu in the restaurant. Also good bar food if you fancy a more relaxed venue. Breakfast also good tho' some of the cooked breakfast was a bit tired- full marks for flexability of timing for breakfast too- All in all we were really satisfied with our visit & would definitely stay there again	report this review as inappropriate

It was a nice enough hotel, my only problem with it was the staff! They did not have a clue how to use their computer system or anything about the area. Also when leaving they messed up our taxi, we missed our train home and had to wait another 4 hours until the next one, not impressed!!!	report this review as inappropriate

Free from the shackles of the Jurey's group this hotel is going from strength to strength. Old-world high quality service from it's very experienced staff and great deals from bookassist makes this hotel ideal for anyone visiting Dublin. Especially handy for those visiting UCD, RTÉ or St. Vincents Hospital. Direct bus routs to the city centre.	report this review as inappropriate
