comments My wife and I had an enjoyable overnight stay towards the end of October. We found the hotel to be great value, our room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were both efficient and friendly. We're hoping to return in the New Year.

comments The location was ideal for the RTE Studios and also Dundrum shopping centre. The rooms were lovely, the food in the bar fantastic and the general atmosphere was brilliant. The only problem was the place was very noisy on saturday morning.

comments I was pleasantly surprised at my stay at Montrose. It looked quite dated from the outside but the rooms were spotless, the bedlinen very fresh, the staff more than helpful and the breakfast delicious. The breakfast staff couldn't do enough for me. I was impressed.

comments Good connection to to the city centre by bus. We stayed in a standard double room, which was unfortunately a smoking room but nevertheless OK. The room was quiet and clean. The deal we got through the Website was excellent value for money - I would stay there again.

comments It was very nice surprise to see my hotel room. The price and what I was offered - I have never got such nice offer together :) The biggest and the nicest surprise - the availabilty of an iron in the hotel room :) Everything seemed nice and clear for me there :) I suggest staying in Montrose Hotel Dublin!!! :)

comments I did not expect a near-luxury hotel when I bought it. I am very happy to have it as my last night in Ireland. The service is excellent. The food options to eat are great. The room met my expectations with a good bed, a great shower, and amendities. Althought the tv in the room is bit broken. The Montrose Hotel is a great choice to stay.

comments My husband and I recently stayed at Montrose Hotel and are satisfied with their service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I made a mistake with my starting date not thinking that we lose a day going to Dublin, so I emailed the hotel reservation staff and she helped me fix the problem immediately. The hotel was clean and quiet. Even though it's a bit far from the city center, it's easy to take the bus to go downtown. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend the hotel any time.

comments Our stay was very pleasant the rooms comfortable and clean as well as very reasonable. We found the staff very helpful and accommodating. The barman that was on after hours for hotel residents was very courteous as well as the man on duty the next day who called a taxi for us and also checked train times by calling up the station. We decided to eat dinner at the hotel and the meal was good except we thought the soup served was rather watery and not what would be expected in an establishment such as the Montrose, but it is probably a small quibble as we all consumed it nevertheless. I would stay at the Montrose again or recommend it to anyone needing a hotel in that vicinity

comments The hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. We went to the Tubridy Tonight show and wanted close accommodation to the RTE studios. The Montrose was just 6 minute walk, it was perfect! The room was nice and had all important amenities. The staff were very helpful and friendly, above 3* standard! Would recommend it to everyone, very enjoyable stay!

I had my confirmation slip so there was no problem and we were actually given a suite for our stay which was absolutely great. Will definitely stay there again without any hesitation. comments In terms of accessibility to the city centre, the Montrose Hotel was conveniently located along the right bus routes. It afforded a very comfortable night's sleep and all the facilities were fine. The staff were not as friendly as I thought such staff should be. However, they were very obliging whenever I had a query or minor problem. Overall, a sound place, and very reasonably priced, in my opinion.

comments the hotel was very nice & comfortable all what you would expect one to be the only downfall was the bedrooms are extremley tiny compared to ones ive stayed in before and I was very disapointment we didnt have a bath this would be a must luury for my hotel stays. and the mini bar wuold not open which would not be fixed for a few days so drinks would have to be ordered through room service.

comments The staff & Main menu food very good. Bar food could have been more Irish. Our room was near the lift and staircase making for a noisy night from the guests who returned to their bedrooms' at about 3 to 4 am with much noise and door slamming. Otherwise pretty good.

comments This is my third time at the Montrose and every visit has been pleasant. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are very helpful, and the restaurant and the pub are most enjoyable. The location is great for anyone visiting University College Dublin. I would recommend the Montrose.

Also good bar food if you fancy a more relaxed venue. comments It was a nice enough hotel, my only problem with it was the staff! They did not have a clue how to use their computer system or anything about the area. Also when leaving they messed up our taxi, we missed our train home and had to wait another 4 hours until the next one, not impressed!!!
