comments Hotel idéalement placé, accueil sympatique, bar privé, petit déjeuner copieux. Par contre le manque d'insonorisation ne destine cet hotel qu'à des dormeurs au sommeil profond.

comments An amazing venue and experience, great location, great staff ! In today's climate probably over priced by 20%. We were very close to changing to another hotel 2 days before our stay for price reasons, but inertia won. We will stay again if price drops.... Thanks!

comments Although the earplugs were greatly appreciated, it was still rather loud. I assume it is just the rooms directly above the reception/bar that are affected by the noise. Although i have to say the noise didn't go on too late. Other than that it was very satisfactory. The bed was amazingly comfortable!

comments The location of Kellys is ideal being right in the heart of Dublin, but it can get a little loud at night, even on a weeknight. The staff is friendly, the bar is great and the rooms are average.

comments Good stay, in a convenient location for central dublin. Liked the Anita Klein woodcut print in the room - nice to see real art on show rather than ikea prints. My only gripe was with the bedstead, which sticks out a bit further than you would expect, so I walked full pelt into it's sharp corner and got a lovely purple bruise on my shin.

comments The hotel is very central & spotlessly celan. We stayed in the penthouse which was fantastic & v. spacious with plenty of tea/coffee available. My only point would be the bathroom - I think it should be screened with either a stud wall or at least frosted class rather than clear glass, - I think everybody deserves some privacy in the bathroom! Great breakfast. We all loved the vib in Kellys.

comments The only distasteful thing duringour stay was the lady who was working the reception dest on Friday when my son checked in and she was also working on Saturday noonish we I checked into the second room. She was unfriendly and acted disturbed that she had to deal with us at all. Your hotel is great. I had good response online and on Sunday when I dealt with the reception to check out......it was a different lady. The restaurant food was superb and the staff was very welcoming. Thanks for a good start to our weeklong trip. We will be back.

comments Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Kelly's Dublin. Rooms are clean, white and modern with free WIFI. Beds very comfortable with plush feather bed covers/duvets. Staff friendly and helpful. Splendid Irish breakfast just for guests in Le Gueleton restaurant right around the corner, ranked one of the best restaurants in Dublin. Go there for dinner while you are there (as well as your breakfast, of course). Proximity to Hogan's bar and "No Name" hot spot bar in same building as Kelly's is a plus for the experience of Dublin night life. No elevators in Kelly's -- but think of it as a healthful "stairmaster". We recommend your stay here. The Pond Family.

comments Posatives - great location, nice clean room, quiet on night of stay, reception staff efficient and friendly. Negatives - breakfast served from 8 which was no good for me as I needed to be out by 7. I guess this will affect many people using this hotel for business stays. No glasses in the room for drinking water. In summary, a few things that could be improved, but a pleasant and comfortable stay.

comments I stayed in room 3 and it was awfully noisy (Hogan pub, traffic). I knew your hotel was located above a pub before making the booking. But I stayed at the Paramount Hotel 2 years ago. There is also a pub there, but the noise was OK... The bathroom was very small. Serving breakfast as from 8.00 was just too late for me, because I had appointments early in the mornings. Very friendly personnel at the reception desk, good point!

comments The hotel could not be better situated for a night out in Dublin with parking around the corner and brilliant restaurants and pubs on the doorstep. Its a little bit like a maze though and might benefit from a few extra signs highlighting how to get to the reception/exit/restaurant from the accomodation area. Also, don't stay here if you want a peaceful nights sleep, but its absolutely perfect for a night out in the capital at a very competitive price.

comments Great place, friendly staff, beautifully designed and decorated, nice bar area, great restaurant and bar downstairs, best area of Dublin on your doorstep. Best bed I ever slept in, nice quiet room, good breakfast. No hot water on the departure morning due to Dublin´s ongoing water crisis, but that didn´t take anything away from the experience. Will never stay anywhere else in Dublin ever.

comments I loved the central location and that I could walk to everything. Unfortunately, that location came with a price - noise. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and it was necessary to use ear plugs to sleep thanks to the music and crowd noise. Also, anyone sharing the penthouse with friends should be aware that the bathroom is in the loft bedroom and there are no doors. Other than that, we loved our stay. For us the location was exactly what we wanted and it was such a charming room. Suggestions for Kelly's Hotel that I would have liked - hang a mirror in the bathroom, put up a towel rack in the bathroom, place a little table in/near the bathroom for toiletries, a clock in the suite.
Hotel Response:

comments We had a standard room that was small, but very clean. Shower was a little too small to maneuver around, but there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. One of the best surprises we experienced was being able to "rent" (for free) any of the selection of movies that was down at the reception desk. We never had any noise issues, but did not stay over a weekend and probably had a good room location (#8). Oh, and the breakfasts that were included were amazing!!! They are offered in the French restaurant right around the corner and it was something worth waking up for. Staff were always there to help, but not overbearing. We would definitely stay here again, though may look into getting just a slightly larger room next time.

comments Very nice, cozy and clean hotel with everything you'll need for a stay in Dublin. The hotel is virtually located in the centre of the city, with all the sigths, shopping and nightlife within walking distance. Naturally, the location means that the busy city can be heard at the hotel, but the rooms are well isolated, so you can still enjoy a good nights sleep without disturbances. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The only point, that was less satisfactory was the breakfast buffet, which was quite plain... but perhaps Irish breakfast is like that? Overall this hotel is very recommendable, and we will without doubt stay here again, when we return to Dublin.

comments I booked at The kellys. Since our room was close to the beer garden of the No Name club it was a little noisy, we asked to change room and this was done. So we slept at The grafton which is one door close. It is in The very city center perfect to wall during day and night. Both hotel Are a truly pleAsant stay, very clean and beautiful. I wouldn t bookshop in any other hotel. I definitely recommend both Kelly and Grafton.

comments The room was relative quiet in the back, away from the street, however I heard any move of the person above, any step, any chat or phone call. The room is rather small and has nothing for the clothes, only one like-shelf-table where your luggage could go and where the tea and coffee stuff is. I was not too picky, for the price is okay, I spent very little time in the room, but had to use ear plugs the first night after i was woken by people coming in at 4 am. The remaining nights I was too tired to be bothered, but still heard everything, I just fell asleep right back. The continental breakfast (cereal, fruit, coffee, pastries, bread, cold cuts) was great at a highly prized restaurant next door. Internet was included. All in all I do not regret staying there, the breakfast and internet made up for the rest.

comments The location is excellent, and I was happy with the in-room amenities and the service I received from staff, however, I was surprised to find when I arrived that there is no lift, so I had to drag my heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs. My room was located above a noisy bar and cigarette smoke from the bar also tended to waft into the room from beneath - there were ear-plugs supplied for each night though, which helped eliminate the bar and street noises. For the price though, I think this is a good value hotel.

Staff is excelent. Localization great. If you plan to relax this is NOT the best hotel. This hotel is excelent if you want to get out at night and have fun in the Dublin's spirit. There are 2 fantastic bars below the hotel that close 2:30am. After 3am yoiu can go to the room anf get rest. We've booked the penthouse. Top floor room is fantastic but be aware that there is only 1 bathroom, although it has a fantastic shower.

comments First of all it's the people. The staff was great, especially Stephen. Then I have to say the beds and bedding, the down duvets were wonderful . The breakast room setting was nice in the restaurant downstairs. Although my first room was tiny and the shower miniscule (plus sized persons be advised; you may not fit inside) but I didn't want to hang out in my room anyway. As for the location in the heart Dublin was better than fantastic. I have already told other peple I've met in Ireland about this little gem of a hotel. Lots of bang for your Euro.

comments Room 6 was a little noisy because it's right outside where the main bar is, luckily I was very tired and the noise did not keep me up. Ear plugs were a thoughtful give-away on the nightstand. Also, the info card said that drinks purchased at the bar could be added to the room bill, but when I asked the bartender, she said that was not possible. We'll definitely be back, will request alternate room!

comments I had a really good stay at Kelly's the room was a good size and it was very clean. The only problem i had was that it was hot weather when i visited and the window only opened by approx 2 - 3 inches which was not enough to cool the room down, i asked reception for a fan but they didn't have one which was not a problem, just unfortunate that it was hot and the window only opened so far.
