comments The staff were friendly and efficient and the accommodation was acceptable. However, the food in the restaurant at both breakfast and dinner was very "ordinary" and more akin to canteen food than anything else.

comments we ask for a restaurant in the near of the hotel. They give us the impression, that the hotel-restaurant would be the only one. Even we understand, that of cause they have to suggest the own. but it would be more fair, to show the alternative.

comments BOOKED THIS HOTEL FOR A HEN DO AS WE GOT A GOOD DEAL FOR TRIPLE ROOMS. VERY IMPRESSED WITH HOTEL, ESPECIALLY THE FOOD AND CLEANLINESS. FIVE MINUTES WALK TO THE SHOPS AND ONLY 7 EUROS TAXI INTO TEMPLE BAR AREA. wOULD DFINATELY RECOMMEND

comments as handy as the vending machines were on the floor, it did mean that there was a disturbance out side our room both nights of our stay due to people congregating around the machines.

comments Pleasant staff. Good food. On arrival we found we had been allocated a top floor room over looking the river. Nice view of Dublin. It is not far to The Point theatre and some nice restaurants. We will be staying there again in a few weeks time.

comments We arrived early at the hotel but they don't only allow you into your room after 2pm. This was fine by us as it gave us an opportunity to look around the ground floor of Jury's. As it is a hotel on the lower price scale, we weren't expecting much but the ground floor is nice, it's quite stylish. At 2pm, we checked into a non-smoking room- while it was clean, the smell of smoke was terrible. I rang reception and asked were we put into a non-smoking room and they said we were !! To be fair to the reception staff, they had a staff member come to the room with room spray. We could have moved to another room but we didnt think it was worth the hassle. In hindsight, I wished we had moved because the smell stayed in the room all evening so we had to keep the windows open. The room and bathroom are simple. While we weren't expecting high standards, I think they could do with a bit of renovations at this stage. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the Point Theathre and the City Centre. However, be aware of the prices that taxi's charge for such short journeys. We got a taxi to the bottom of Grafton St and it cost 10 euro, this was expensive for such a short journey and the traffic was not too bad. Although the Point Depot was in walking distance, the taxi was expensive but at least we could blame the traffic for part of the high costs. Overall, if you are looking for budget accommodation, Jury's is not the worst- although they are not as cheap as they used to be- as it costs over 100 euro now for a room- not quite budget anymore

comments Our stay here was a pleasant one with the room being clean and tidy and the food served in the restaurent being ok for us and our kids.The only small thing we came across to fault our stay was one of the beds in the room was a fold up bed and the fold was quite hard on your back while sleeping.
