The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we were very important. They always smiled and took time to answer the many questions we posed. The location was ideal for us. Being close to the Train station was very helpful. Being close to the center of Dublin was critical. We did a lot of walking. The food at the restaurant was extremely good. Very nice waitresses and waiters. We enjoyed our meals at this location. There is no question where we will stay the next time we return. It will be at Hotel Isaacs. Thank you for a super memory. Hotel staff were very courtise and the room was clean, with all that we needed. Full Irish breakfast was great with the extra bonus of a newspaper to catch up on all the news. Struggled with the Wifi in the room, unfortunately it was not made clear to us on check in that there was an extra charge as could have ensured setup and payment was made on check in rather then having to go back to the front desk after.

	couldnt say anything negative, lovely staff, good food very clean hotel. we stayed for our anniversary and when we arrived there was a lovely message and a box of chocolates in our room wishing us a happy anniversary a really lovely touch. will definately reccomend to my friends and colleagues and will definately visit the issac again

	Having stayed at Hotel Isaacs on many occasions in the past we knew exactly what to expect. The staff are always friendly, helpful and courteous and remain so. From reception to restaurant the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit. Tomás Ó Briain

	I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and would not want to stay anywhere else. The hotel has a perfect location, the rooms are spotless and very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. I would give this hotel 10 out of 10 and cannot wait to stay again!

	Hotel ideally placed for the O2 (15/20 mins leisurely walk); shops and attractions; bus and tram station opposite. Dublin bus takes you from the Airport to the bus station, 3Euro single if pre-booked. Good breakfast, nice bar, well satisfied with room, and would use Isaacs again.

	We stayed in January and overall everthing was fine. the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. There does appear to be a language barrier or understanding with the restaurant staff especially at breakfast not only between waitresses and customers but also between waitresses and chef! That said overall a decent hotel which is only a 5 minute stroll to the shopping area.

I did a report for trip advisor. this is it. “Great Hotel” 5 of 5 stars Date of review: 1 Feb 2011 - New Great hotel in the centre of Dublin, a simple hop off the Dublin Bus 747 at central bus station from the airport,3 euro(half price) for the bus when you book your tickets on the hotels web site (about 25 for a taxi)even got a bus on the return at 6.25 am(tickets from reception) for an early flight.As we are a bit older we got a great deal called golden years break which had breakfast included and can again be booked on the hotels own web site.Everywhere in Dublin centre is within a 5/10 minute flat walk,rooms are clean and smart,and food is first class.One small thing I should point out there is a bit of traffic noise in the morning,but to be honest the sound of trams buses & trains passing by is no more than you would expect in a city centre,and no problem at all.

una stanza calda, tranquilla, silenziosa...qualcuno si era lamentato dei rumori ...io dalla 321 non ho sentito volare una mosca! le lenzuola e gli asciugamani pulitissimi, bagno ottimo, se torno a Dublino prenoto qui! A 37 euro a notte dormire in centro a Dublino con una camera matrimoniale da 4 stelle NON C'E' PARAGONE! Ho avuto un forte sconto perchè ho dormito 4 notti! io viaggio spesso per l'Italia per lavoro e dormo in hotel di 4 o 3 stelle, questo è veramente ottimo!

The hotel is at an ideal location for walking to the main tourist attractions in the city. There is also a regular bus service to and from the airport which stops right across the road from the hotel and a taxi rank next to it. Just around the corner there is also a high street where there is a supermarket, cafe and shops. The surrounding area seems generally pleasant and pretty quiet. The room I had was very clean and tidy, with all facilities in working order and it was cleaned daily whilst I was out. The safe inside the room was easy to use. It was also quiet where I was bar the odd expected and unavoidable noise from within the hotel such as people passing by the room. The reception area was comfortable with pay-as-you-use internet access available and there was plenty of visitor information available. The staff were very polite and helpful. I did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot comment on the meals available at the hotel. I would, however recommend Hotel Isaacs to anyone wishing to stay in Dublin, especially single adult travellers; and will probably visit again myself as the rates were very reasonable.

I am really pleased to have booked the Issac hotel in Dublin. The room was so clean and fresh and when we found the tea & coffee tray tucked away it was a little pleasure, The shower was wonderful, better than our own at home. For 3* it is a superb choice and hard to beat. We had break fast on our last morning and it was such a lovely spread, it all looked delicious. Thank you to the staff for being accommodating and helpful.

	It would have been five except for the dreadful music you played at breakfast. People do not want to hear gabbling DJs, heavy driving beats or howling divas first thing in the morning. They want PEACE and QUIET! So that they can get ready for the day calmly. They want stimulating in the evening, not first thing in the morning!!! (The breakfast was otherwise excellent).

	stayed ere with my daughter and has been one of the best stayed in dublin we have has so far.. staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were lovely and warm.. Visiting from UK and stayed here for 5 days during the recent snow and ice.Staff were friendly and hotel was comfortable,clean and warm. The restaurant menu should have included more vegetarian choices (Irish pub and restaurant cuisine generally is mostly meat with some fish dishes). We appreciated the regularly updated information screen by the lift, especially concerning Road, Luas and Airport conditions during the snow. Have recommended this Hotel to family and friends in the UK.

The room initially allocated was very small and dark but this was changed very quickly without any fuss. Staff were friendly and efficient. Restaurant facilities were good. We came down for brakfast at '9am and the hot buffett was quite depleted. We had to aske to have it replenished - perhaps this should be done more regularly. All in all a very pleasant overnight stay and I would use the hotel again

	I have stayed at the Isaacs many times over many years and it is the hotel of choice for my Dublin visits for both business and pleasure. 	Great location to stay! Second time staying at Hotel Isaacs. Hopefully many more in the future. Only problem was the room was supposed to be non-smoking room but the room smelt of cigarette smoke. Nor myself or my friends who stayed with smoke.

we stayed in issacs hotel for 1 night to attend a concert in the o2...location is just perfect as we were only bout 10 mins walk so saved on taxi fare .......the staff were very friendly and courtious both at reception and at breakfast.......speaking of breakfast it was lovely and very well organised........the room itself was a little on the small side but really clean so for the price we paid this was not an issue..... all in all a very enjoyable hotel and great value for money............just one small issue we were in room 311 straight accross from the bus station which was a bit noisy as we didnt go to bed till 1-30 it didnt really put in on us too much as the buses seemed to stop about then...it might have been different if we were in bed early .....we would certanly stay again in issacs .......derek & lynda waterford

	There's something that needs improving. Rooms of the Georgian wing are too far away from the entrance. It's a bit annoying everytime you're getting in or out, but It's worse when it means moving a heavy bag.

	Hotel Isaacs was prefect for what I needed. As in other previous reviews, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and very accomadating. Bed was comfy, room was nice and bright. only fault was the floor boards were creaky but You'd get over that. VEry central location also

Great location for the airport bus (Discounted Hotel Isaacs voucher) just opposite the hotel and easy walking to main shopping areas. Reception staff always friendly and efficient. We were in the Georgian wing which is much quieter than the main hotel corrider complex. Our upgraded room was great and made our Dublin visit so much more enjoyable. The 'help yourself' buffet breakfast with ample cooked choice gave a good start to each day. Attentive breakfast ladies always nearby for more coffee and finished dishes removal .. again very efficient. The large bar was a good place to start before our trips out in the evening. We had one evening meal in the restaurant and this was fine but as is the case with many hotels it started to wind down quickly from 20.30 .. still we enjoyed it. All in all a very good memory of Dublin.

	We found our stay at the Hotel Isaacs very enjoyable indeed. The Hotel was recommended by a family member, rooms were very clean and tidy, breakfast was very enjoyable and it is within walking distance to the main city centre so therefore saved on travelling expenses. I would definitely return.

	We had a wonderfull stay at Isaacs Hotel. We booked the beautiful Georgian room and we recommend it to everyone! Nice, clean, big room and helpful staff at the receprion. The breakfast was great, everything you like in a full irish breakfast. The hotel has a great location, just a 10 minutes walk from O'Connelstreet and across the Central Busstation.

	Sehr zentral gelegenes Stadthotel. Unbedingt darauf achten, dass Zimmer zum Hinterhof gebucht werden - Straßenseite sehr laut. Zimmer im obersten Stock war sehr ruhig. Frühstücksbüffett für irische Verhältnisse ausgezeichnet. Personal sehr zuvorkommend

	Your hotel is great for rooms, service, LOCATION (!!!). My only negative is that there is no free internet service available. There is the one machine in the lobby, for which there is a charge. Much less classy hotels than yours have free internet; you might wish to consider providing it...

	Enjoyed the stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was trouble with the television in our room and it did not work. Additionally there were a number of stairs that we had to haul luggage up since there was no lift to the back part of the hotel.

	Sehr nettes Personal und das Zimmer war wirklich ok. Nebenan ist direkt das Isaacs Hostel und die spielen im Innenhof schon morgens um 10 Uhr laut Musik, das war ab und zu nervig. Also nicht sehr ruhig Lage, dafür liegt das Hotel aber eben total zentral. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!

	I was very happy with my stay in Hotel Isaacs. Room etc was of good standard and we were upgraded to one of the the Georgian Suites. Only negative comment is that the noise was quite loud from traffic outside. We had a meal in the Hotel's Italian Restaurant and found it relaxing and enjoyable with friendly and efficient staff.

	Great location, lovely, helpful staff. I was traveling with my sisters, and we could not have had a better introduction to Dublin. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the "full Irish breakfast," and dinner even more. Would definitely recommend the Isaacs Hotel-great value!

Overall, our stay was fabulous. The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and the location was perfect. I had two minor complaints: First, our room's window was above the neighboring pub's entrance. We were awoken nearly every night by loud people entering and leaving the pub. Second, we had ordered five breakfasts for our seven night stay and there was confusion among the staff a few times regarding which days we wanted breakfast. One morning, we arrived in the breakfast room, but the guest list did not show us as having ordered breakfast. This was quickly taken care of, but was still a minor inconvenience. Overall, however, we very much enjoyed our stay.

	Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel is in a great location for access to public transport (airport bus stops across the street) and for walking. Our room exceeded our expectations, was comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was a little late night noise from an adjacent pub/club, but as we were on the 4th floor it didn't bother us. Would stay here again on any future visit to Dublin.

I was late to book a hotel and booked at Isaac's although there were quite some negative comments about this hotel on a number of websites. I may have been lucky with the room I got, but there is honestly very little I could complain about. I got a spacious, clean room. I did not suffer from outside noices. But I was there during the week - not the weekend and of course this might make quite some difference.

	Hotel Isaacs could not be better placed for a walk along the river and city. Being next to the main bus station our airport bus stopped outside the hotel and the bus to the ferry port was just 50 metres away. We could not have planned it better. Great stay.

The hotel was easy to find and the room was clean - could have done with a bedside light, only light was in the ceiling and only switch by door. The room was very noisey at night due to the train passing every few minutes until 11.30 pm and then the noise from bar ourside and hostel took over. On shutting the window to try to shut the noise out the room became unbearably hot!!! The breakfast was excellent and the staff very polite.

We stayed twice and will return, because we liked the courteous, attentive and efficient staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We were dropped on the Isaacs doorstep by the airport bus. Home from home, in the heart of Dublin. (On a personal note, there is a trace of nostalgia in the above remarks. For I was born and grew up just a few doors from your hotel -- in what is now called “Paddy’s Palace”. A terrible name, I admit. But I think my father, who was caretaker of that house, would turn with delight in his grave to know that his name “Paddy” is at last over the door. After many years away from Dublin, I feel very much at home when I return with my French wife to the Isaacs. Thank you. Patrick Duffy.

Pleasant hotel, reasonable rooms for the price. Excellent ironing facilities 'in room' which was a bonus. Airconditioning unit was very noisy and it was disappointing that Wi Fi access was not provided free within the hotel. Car parking was available but the staff are required to accompany guests to unlock the secure carpark gate - which they are most unhappy to do. So although we paid to park we felt guilty for 'disturbing staff' - one gentleman in particular who did not even offer assistance with baggage on checkout, but strode ahead of my wife & I, unemcumbered and without so much as a backward glance!

I stayed over for 2 nights with my boyfriend and must admit that everything was to our liking. We even tried the pasta one evening and it was delicious. Loved the Italian music at the restaurant which is pretty unusual for an Irish Hotel :-) One other good thing is the location because you're practically at the doorstep to the bus, the tram and the train! :-) The only thing I would suggest is to have free wi-fi for residents. Otherwise ... well done :-)

	We stayed at Hotel Isaacs in a Suite in the Georgian wing for our visit to Dublin and the Kiss Concert at the O2 and had a great stay. We were extremely satified with our suite, the staff were fantastic. My wife and I were so pleased with our stay we are coming back to the Hotel Isaacs again in September for Guns n Roses. 	We enjoyed our one-night stay at the Hotel Isaacs. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the decor in the restaurant. The only criticism would be the 1100 check out, when other hotels had a 1200 check out. Everything in Isaacs Hotel was good: friendly helpful staff and a good location. The only thing I did not like was that my room was right above the entrance of the Isaacs Hostel at the other side of the building, which at times could be quite noisy. Earplugs were an easy fix for that, although that did not stop cigarette smoke from entering my room from outside. All in all I was happy and I would consider booking at Isaacs again in the future.

Issacs Hotel is in a very good location for going to the O2 arena as the luas stop is just outside the door of the hotel. The hotel room etc was fine I would stay there again but I would ask for a room the next time with easier access to the lift as we had to get out of the lift and follow the signs to our room number which was like a maze to get to and we had to go up several flights of stairs to access the room

Nous avons passés 5 nuits dans cet hotel. Le premier jour, nous n'avions pas fermé la fenêtre, et manque de chance, il y avait des travaux sur les voix de chemins de fer toutes proches, et nous avons été un peu géné par le bruit. Mais ensuite, plus aucun problème, l'hotel est très agréable, très propre, les chambres coquètes et les salles de bains très propres et agréables. De plus il y a tous les jours du thé, du café ainsi que du lait du sucre et des petits gâteaux pour une petite détente. Le personnel est sympathique, il ne parle pas français, mais font des éfforts pour nous comprendre. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé, en plein centre ville, à environ 5 mn du quartier Temple bar, de là, vous pouvez visiter Dublin à pieds, pas besoin de louer une voiture. De plus vous êtes à 2 mn des bus pour faire des excursions en dehors de Dublin. Nous vous recommandons sans problème cet hotel. (dernière chose, le bus pour l'aéroport est juste devant la porte de l'hotel). Bon voyage !

Hotel Isaacs is a very centrally located, compact and friendly place to stay in Dublin. I found the accommodation and food to be excellent, and the staff were efficient and helpful. It is very suitable for going to concerts etc . at the 02. The Luas tram stops outside the Hotel and makes it easy to go to the concert venue and also to the train stations and various points of interests around the city.

The staff were very good - the only thing that let the stay down was the room being over the courtyard. This would not have been a problem had it not been a shared Backpacker courtyard. We had had a long drive/ferry over as I was competing at the European Championships in Athlone and really needed to get some sleep. This was dificult with the noise. If we had had a better located room I am sure we would have rated higher.

	I asked for a quiet room and i was completely satisifed. However i did find it very difficult to get to and from my room without going wrong. I know directions are pointed up on the walls, but i found myself always going wrong. The two lifts mixed me up. As soon as I stepped open the door to the lobby, I felt the coziness of the whole setting and decoration. Reception and staff were courteous, my room was very clean, and my bed was comfortable; bathtub drains a little on the slow side so I took showers instead of baths. Hotel is very central, about 5 min walk to Dublin Spire on O'Connell street, 10 min to Trinity College, & right next to the bus/train station. I did lots of sight-seeing during the day so I slept really well even when my room was next to the bus station - I did not notice the hustle and bustle until I woke up. The restaurant in the hotel served great food; I enjoyed my breakfast and dinner there. Only thing a bit odd was that I lost my direction & went to a set of stairs where the door @ the bottom floor was blocked/sealed? and the area looked a bit untidy & deserted. Over all I was satisfied with my stay & would stay here again.

The staff was fantastic. We got there at 10 AM tired as dogs, our room was ready so they let us check in. Based upon other reviewer's feedback I requested a quiet room. My room was exactly as requested, non-smoking, sleeps 3 and a quiet room away from street noise (just as a prior reviewer had said to request). Trouble was it was unseasonably hot and the location of the room didn't allow for much air circulation. So we'd shower and have to get out of the room right away or be hot all over again. I stayed at Isaac's again later that week. This time I did not ask for a quiet room. I got the most beautiful room (way different than the quiet room which was sparse to say the least) and it was located at the front of the hotel. I didn't have windows that opened but it didn't matter, the room was beautiful and comfortable. You'd have sworn I was in a different hotel And noise, there was none. My advice, ask for a room at the front of the hotel. You'll love it. And the staff, both stays were beyond belief. Wonderful. I'll stay again if I'm in Dublin. Good value especially for the price.

The staff at the hotel were extremely pleasant and made the stay more enjoyable. Our room was ready 2hrs before check in time and I thank them so much for that because myself and my friend were able to fit more into our day. The rooms were always nicely cleaned and I thank the cleaning staff for their hard work in that area. The only problem that I had was the incredible heat in our room. We never had our window closed the whole time because of the heat. We didn't know if their was Air Con in the rooms but we couldn't find anything to suggest their was. That was the only negative point but on the hole I will definitely be back at Hotel Issacs in the future and would highly recommend to people to stay there. It's close to the major shopping areas and to the train/luas stations which was an added bonus.

	The room we were allocated originally was very hot and stuffy & overlooked the hostel, though on asking for a different room after our 1st night, the duty officer was very obliging and moved us to a much more comforable room for the remainder of our 4 night stay. The hotel is in a very good spot but quite noisy from the trams outside.

Estuvimos 3 noches en este hotel, cogimos dos habitaciones, perfectas las dos, muy amplias y sobre todo muy limpias, la relación calidad-precio inmejorable y la atención recibida excelente. Está ubicado de tal forma que puedes ir a pie a cualquier parte de la ciudad, a nosotros nos vino muy bien ya que para ir a las zonas más alejadas como la cárcel o el pueblecito costero teníamos las paradas del tranvía y el bus casi en la misma puerta. Y por supuesto hicimos fotos del hotel para recomendarlo a nuestros amigos que viajen a esa ciudad tan bonita como es Dublín. Y una cosa muy buena es que disponen de un bus que os recoge en el aeropuerto y os deja en el hotel y viceversa, esto claro, gratuitamente.

	A fantastic stay. The hotel's entrance and reception was beautifully presented, and our rooms were tidy and with everything we needed. We were well looked after here, and the hotel is a 3 minute walk from the main streets of Dublin, and extremely close walking disatance to all Dublin's main attractions. El hotel es moderno y está muy bien situado. El personal es muy amable y nos ayudó en todo momento a solucionar los pequeños problemas o dudas sobre la ciudad. Sólo decir que he echado de menos el wifi gratuito porque hoy en día es algo imprescindible y en Dublín incluso los autobuses tienen wifi gratuito. El desayuno no estaba incluido, pero por 10€ merece la pena, un buen desayuno irlandés, la verdad. La estación de autobuses está justo enfrente, y la parada del tranvía(LUA) a 100 m. Volvería encantado a este hotel. Os lo recomiendo.

Overall very satisfied. Suggestions to improve service: 1. When guest check in, offer available upgrades. 2. Provide a computer terminal in the lobby where guest can log FREE of charge into the internet to check on typical travel information such as flight status and local entertainment. The current fee based service is not suitable for short duration internet access and unneccessarily complicated. Having that service would have greatly improved the convienience of my stay at your hotel. Free wi-fi in the hotel would even be greater. This is not a great cost item and access to the internet should not be viewed as a profit service. It is necessary to accomodate modern travel.

The hotel and staff were very impressive from the moment we walked through the door. Our room was lovely, kept clean and staff were pleasant to talk to and very helpful. Lovely hotel very nice room staff very friendly. I did find the lady that ran the breakfast was a bit rude we were told at check in that breakfast was between 8-11 we went down for breakfast at 10.45 and was told breakfast was over i explaned that we were informed of what time breakfast was served untill when i explained that it was only 10.45 she said well its nearly 11. We did end up getting our breakfast but she was very rude by maken us wait while she looked for a table even though there was only 3 tables taken up in the retaurant. I would return to isaacs again but might skip eating in the restaurant.

We would highly recommend this hotel for guests. The breakfasts were great and most importantly, the front desk staff were absolutely wonderful. Aga, Marek and Taddus made us feel so welcome and were very helpful in recommending restaurants and sights that might be of interest. Over our two-week visit in Ireland and the IOM, we stayed 5 nights and the service was always consistent. Keep doing what you're doing! Well done.

Hotel isaac was great.the location was in an excellent position for access to the 02,which was the purpose of our stay.The luas ran just outside the hotel and if public transport didnt suit ,then it wasnt that far on foot from the hotel. The rooms were spacious,well equipped and overall very nice and the georgian upgrades looked highly tempting. Breakfast included all the good irish morning essentials and lined the stomach well for the day ahead.Overall i thought our stay at hotel isaac was very good and i shall give it preference when looking to stay in dublin again,especially for access to concerts and events at the 02

	Sehr schönes Hotel für den Preis, etwa 10 min. zum Zentrum zu laufen, Zimmer war sehr ruhig aber dass man 67 Stufen laufen muss, obwohl man eigentlich ein Zimmer im ersten Stock hat, war schon komisch. Sehr verwinkeltes Hotel also.

Stayed one night only with 7 work colleagues for a bit of 'team building'. Location superb for bars and restaurants....used hotel staff recomendations of both counts and were kept suitably amused until four in the morning, which was no issue whatsoever on returning to the hotel. Half our party could not face breakfast.....the other half loved it. Free 'Paddy Wagon' to and from Dublin Airport was a bonus. Plan to return to hotel in the near future with my wife for 'longer and more civilized' visit.

	We really appreciate the great location of hotel Isaacs. It is right next to the central bus station, and a short walk from O'connell St. The restaurant is excellent, and the breakfasts superb. We did have a problem with the shower, as the the mixing valve was full of surprises. Very disconcerting.

	Hotel is very central. Rooms were lovely and clean. Reservations staff could not be more helpfull. Night porter's were very polite even when we staggered in the door. And the brekki was very very tasty.

	Hôtel trés agréable, trés calme. Le personnel est vraiment trés gentil et efficace. Equipement de bonne qualité, chambre agréable. Seul point négatif : le petit déjeuner irlandais n'est pas trés bien au restaurant de l'hôtel. Les autres plats étant cependant tout à fait corrects. J'y retournerai trés probablement lors de mon prochain séjour.

	The water was not hot for a shower or a bath so we just made do with what we had.The free shuttle bus to the airport is excellent we saved a lot of money here eg bus €7 and taxi €30-€40.

	Our stay at Hotel Isaacs was really good. A lovely hotel in the centre of Dublin. The room was lovely, it was small but cosy. The website did say that there was an iron provided in the room though and there wasnt but not a big deal in the grand scheme of things! Would definitely recommend.

	The hotel was perfect in regards to room and location. It was warm,cosy and very clean except for the dining room/restaurant. The temperatures outside were -4/-5 outside and unfortunately so was the restaurant. The food was superb, pity about the cold.

The room was vey spacious and there was a great shower in the bathroom. I hate to have to jump about to get wet, but no problems here. The TV reception was not great. I like to hear the news first thing in the morning. the hotel was right across from the bus station and all the city centre shopping and bars were all within walking distance. pity our weather was not better for walking but this encouraged us to use our hop on hop off bus pass.

I found one thing a bit odd: the contrast between the modern bathroom/beds, and some pieces of furniture which look oldish and cheapish. That's all. A very minor issue! I had a lovely stay, staff were extremely nice (especially reception staff and Gianni the waiter), helpful and prompt in dealing with my requests. I asked for a quiet room, I got it (no noise at all; other rooms must be noisier because in corridors where people have to walk by - and floors creak a bit). I needed the ironing board, they brought it at once. Beds were super confortable, bathroom modern and spotless... I would definitely stay there again!

	Our room could have done with a bit of a refurb but it was clean and the hotel is in an excellent location, staff very nice and helpful. Didn't use the restaurant but the bar is very nicely decorated and welcoming. All in all excellent for the price, much better than we expected from previous stays in Dublin.

	We we placed in a freezing cold hotel room and were told it was because the hotel had been closed for two days. This was unacceptable as we had stated a time of arrival and the room should have been checked and preheated. After about an hour we were moved to a warm room and the rest of our visit was enjoyable.

Stayed two nights in Georgian suite in Dec '09 for gig in O2 & some Christmas shopping. The location is perfect for both with the Luas outside the door direct to the 02 & 5 minutes walk to all the shops. The room was very nice, clean & spacious. I was considering taking my elderly mum to stay here but the layout of the hotel is very poor.The corridor & lift systems are very complicated. (we would come down some stairs & out the side door & go outside to the front of the building to get back to reception, rather than do the navigate our way around the lifts & corridors, not for the elderly.) We did hear the noise from the bar below the hotel as we made our way to our room but it wasn't a problem in the Georgian wing. We have stayed in the main hotel before & the bar is very noisy. Dinner was poor but breakfast was very good. The service is excellent. I would stay here again for the fantastic location & price.

The Hotel staff were extremely helpful and efficient, thanks to all. The room we had was a reasonable size for a twin, and the bathroom clean. If I had to say something negative it would be that you could hear footsteps upstairs (creaky floors!), but this really is insignificant in the greater scheme of things! We walked to Temple Bar, a good way to "earn" that Irish breakfast or to justify those lovely scones! I would recommend Hotel Isaacs to friends and family and those that want to be away from the noisy party goers, but not too far! 	Hotel Isaacs is one of the most ideal places to stay in Dublinl, directly opposite Busáras The staff in the hotel were all very polite and helpful. The restaraunt and bar are very inviting and full of good atmosphere. The room we stayed in was a bit on the small side, it was fine just for one night but any more time would have been difficult for such a small space. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

This was a lovely hotel. We booked early and got a very good deal. The hotel itself is in a great location and well within walking distance to all of Dublins attractions. The hotel was immaculately clean, the rooms well furnished and although a little smaller than anticipated were more than adeqate, clean well kept. The public areas of the hotel are comfortable and the staff very welcoming, helpful and informative. Restaurant was great and relatively good value compared with the rest of Dublin. Overall my husband and I had a great stay and would definately go back to Hotel Isaacs again and have no hesitation in recommending it to all.

	Central and very cosy. Cheap for the quality (also because we went on low season). Nice restaurant and bar, breakfast is not included but not expensive. The hotel even has a small gym. Everything very good!! the only inconvenience is that the enighbours upstairs were really loud and walking up and down all night, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Had such a good stay at the Hotel Issacs. Took my boyfriend for his birthday and we can't fault anything. The breakfast was great a wide variety of choice. The staff were lovely they helped us with our bags on check in and check out and couldnt do enough for us. We would definately reccomend this hotel and we would definately stay here on our next trip to Dublin. Is also such a great location for Dublin centre and all the attractions.

	This hotel is a fantastic location - right opposite the central bus station so no need to drag heavy suitcases far! Friendly staff, big room...just what we needed! When we go back to Dublin we will definately stay at the Hotel Isaacs again! Fantastic trip!

	Hotal Isaacs meets our expectations. It is a no-nonsense hotel near the heart of Dublin. A few minutes walk and you're in the middle of everything. I think that is the most important advantage. Most likely, if we visit Dublin again, this would be the hotel of our choice.

	The rooms were clean and tre beds were very comfortable. The staff were a little unhelpful and we had to keep changing our room keys as they would randomly stop working. Location is quite good and it is easy to navigate to the main tourist areas. The free bus to the airport but was very handy!! For the price I would definately stay there again.

	We had a very pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. The adjoining restaurant has a great decor, which creates lovely ambiance. The food however was a nondescript. Very convenient location because it is close to public transport, the airport, and most sights are an easy walking distance away. The free shuttle to the airport was a nice perk too.

	Staff were really lovely and helpful. The food in the restaurant downstairs was wonderful - nice setting and very reasonable indeed. Only gripe was the particular room I stayed in that was hot because it was over the kitchen. Slept well however and everything lovely and clean. Hotel transfer bus to and from the airport is really handy and makes all the difference. Great all round. Thank you!

We arrived from long flights to Dublin Airport, got right on the AirLink bus which stopped right across street from the hotel. The room was quiet, comfortable with an excellent bed and full Irish breakfast, the staff friendly, and the hotel was an excellent value. Getting to the train station at Dublin-Heuston was also easy as like the bus station, the Luas tram stop was also right in front of the hotel.

	Habitacion amplia y limpia. Enfrente de la puerta del hotel esta la estacion central de autobuses y O´Connell se encuentra a escasos 5 minutos andando. Hotel muy bien comunicado. La unica pega es que nos toco una habitacion que daba a la via del tren y habia algo de ruido por este aspecto. Aun asi, a las 23:30-24:00 dejan de pasar trenes.

	Great location only 5 minutes walk from O'Connell Street. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We were upgraded at no extra charge to a large room in the Georgian part of the hotel which was beautifully furnished and spacious. It was very noisy and it would have been useful to know that there was a train line alongside with trains throughout the night. We booked 2 rooms as we had our 7 year old daughter with us - on the assumption that these were interleading which in fact is not available. My husband had to sleep in her room, this did not make for a good holiday. I must complement Hotel Isaacs on the cleanliness - this was very good.

We stayed at Hotel Isaacs at the beginning and end of our vacation in Ireland. On arrival Aug 1 we were received courteously and pleasantly. Our standard room was upgraded to a Georgian suite which was lovely and a great place to get our Irish legs after an overnight flight from Canada. We also had dinner in the Italian restaurant in the hotel. The food was excellent, the service very good, and the prices in line with other places we ate at in the following 11 days. We were so impressed by the service and facilities that we upgraded our final 2 days (Aug 11 and 12) to the same suite. Ths cost was greater this time but we found the front of the hotel facing the Customs House quite pleasant. The suite had 3 windows which opened wide to allow plenty of fresh air. We will definitely use Isaacs again when we return to Dublin.

we went to dublin to celebrate a 50th birthday and had a lovely stay at the hotel isaacs, dublin. It was a triple room, spotless with loads of fresh towels. and ok we did hear the buses and trams from outside but all hotels have some sort of noice and being right next door to the bus station it has to be expected, but for us it was just so handy straight off the bus into the hotel perfect. The staff were all very friendly the breakfast was lovely with a choice of a full irish or a selections of cereals, fruit, along with toast coffee and tea of any many kinds. we stayed for two nights and had a lovely time. big thank you to everyone.

We were extremely pleased with all aspects of our stay at Hotel Isaacs. The staff was helpful and courteous and very respponsive to our requests/questions. We were expecially grateful to have our room ready for us to check in early in the day - we flew overnight from Chicago and arrived in Dublin at about 7:30 in the morning, very tired and needing a bit of rest before starting our day's activities. It was such a relief to arive at Hotel Isaaacs and find our room for hat night was ready for us to use immediately. Thank-you so much for this small convenience - it meant a great deal. THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. ROOM WAS AMPLE SIZE WITH LARGE BATHROOM. EVEN THOUGH OUR ROOM OVERLOOKED THE STREET WHEN THE WINDOW WAS CLOSED WE WERE NOT DISTURBED BY ANY STREET NOISE. HOTEL IS VERY CONVENIENT FOR THE LUIS AND BUS STATION AND TRAINS FROM CONNOLLY STATION AND FOR THE POINT VENUE AND O'CONNELL STREET. THE RESTAURANT IS VERY GOOD AND GOOD VALUE. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND I WILL CERTAINLY STAY THERE AGAIN IF I NEED TO STAY IN DUBLIN OVERNIGHT AGAIN.

	Absolutely no problems. Central location, fast check-in and room was great value for ?50 per night for twin room. Room was clean and warm. Only downside was the noise from courtyard - but what else would you expect from a city centre hotel ! Recommend it to anyone.

	Pleasantly surprised after reading some of the comments,good central hotel we hd a georgian room which was noisy from the roomm above and the train asked if we could move rooms and we were offerred two to look at.The staff were very helpful

We have stayed in this hotel twice now and would definately use it again and recommend it. Isaacs Hotel is ideally situated across the road from the main bus station and a 5 - 10 min walk from the centre. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. I think a lot of them may have been refurbished over the last 12 months, as there was a great improvement from the last time we stayed (although they were still clean and comfortable then too). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is an ideal base when looking for somewhere to stay in Dublin

	We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and had our room upgraded (which i would hightly recommend) we had a very enjoyable stay,although the room was uncomfortable warm, food was very good and reasonable and the staff were very friendly. i would highly recommend this hotel

We stayed here for my husbands 40th Birthday, our room was lovely, it was on the 4th floor (405), it had air-conditioning and was quiet, however, our guests were on the 3rd floor and all said their rooms were so hot and our guests who stayed on the first floor said their rooms were horrible!!! Hotel resturant was lovely. We used the Hostel Cafe for our breakfast which was 8 euros but I think the hotel breakfast at 12 euros is better value as tea/coffee orange juice etc is not extra. If there are 4 of you it is cheaper to get a taxi from the Airport rather than the bus (17 euro's for a taxi) 6 euros each on the bus. 10 minute walk to Temple Bar. The only bad thing is the cost of drinks due to the conversion of Sterling to Euros, it is nearly £7 a pint and it was costing us £25 for a round of drinks for 4 people!!! So as you can imagine we spent loads!!

	We were an American family of four in two rooms for two nights the week before Christmas. The most important concerns for us are cleanliness and staff courtesy and helpfulness. Hotel Isaacs met both those concerns very well. It's fairly central location in Dublin made many locations within walking distance. Yes, we will stay there again if we visit Dublin!

We were absolutely delighted with the efficient welcoming service and assistance of all members of the Hotel Team we came into contact with. We were given a free room well before the routine check in time and then allowed to leave our bags in safe storage until our departure for the airport well after the check out time. Both our room and the Hotel in general were very clean and comfortable. The reception lounges being very welcoming and homely with the open fires etc. Altogether a very enjoyable experience and will definitely return.

our stay was amazing, we enjoyed every minute. My boyfriend and I decided we wamted a weekend away so choose the isaacs. We have stayed here once before and it was nice. This time was even better. Our hotel room wasout of this world. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was gorgeous. It was that good my sister and her boyfriend are heading down over christmas and we've also booked my mum and dad a room for her 50th. I definately recommend the isaacs. An amazing hotel.

	The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. We were in a room that did not have air conditioning and when I asked if they had any fans available, they sent one up to our room in less than five minutes. The hotel was beautifully decorated and immaculate at all times. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a spotless en-suite, and plenty of hot water for either a bath or shower.

The hotel upgraded us to one of their Georgian rooms. It was fantastic! And as this was a birthday/anniversay celebration break made it even moe special. The staff at this hotel are very friendly. The location is perfect for getting around Dubline, and not so close to the centre that it is noisey at night. This was my second stay at this hotel and I will definately be going back.

Very nine hotel. the staff were very friendy & helpful. It was central to everything, a stone throw from Bus Station & Train Station, O'Connell Street just round the corner, I couldn't have picked a better location! I stayed for 2 nights and it was really well priced compared to other Hotels and they didn't look up to much! My room was very clean, and larger than expected, well impressed! I will stay here next time in Dublin.

	I stayed at Hotel Isaacs for four nights and was very satisfied! Extremely friendly, service minded and helpful staff. Room was spacious, delicately decorated and very clean. The only reason for me not giving my stay a 5/5 is that our room was quite noisy during the weekend due to both a nightclub and a pub on the first floor.

Wir hielten uns aus geschäftlichen Gründen in Dublin auf und buchten zu diesem Zweck 4 Einzelzimmer für 3 Übernachtungen. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und liegt direkt an der Haltestelle des Zubringerbusses vom Airport. Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend, wir waren mit der Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Zimmer zufrieden. Die Gäste wurden von der Leitung nach ihrer Zufriedenheit mit dem Zimmerservice befragt. Kostenlos stellte man Adapter für den Netzanschluss zur Verfügung, da sonst z.B. das Laden von Handys oder Notebooks nicht möglich gewesen wäre. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Im gleichen Gebäude befindet sich ein Hostel, dessen jugedliche Gäste jede Nacht äußerst lautstark auf der Sträße die Gäste vom Schlafen abhielten. Tipp: Lassen Sie sich deshalb ein Zimmer mit Fenstern zur Hofseite hin geben. Sonst alles ok, am Abreisetag nimmt man gern nach 11.00 (Auschecktermin) Ihr Gepäck bis zur Abreise kostenlos in Verwahrung. The hotel is genuinely nice for a 3-star and staff was very friendly and helpful. the room was smaller than expected from the photographs however cosy and clean. We were at the far end of the building and had it very quiet there. We didn't eat in so we cannot comment on that. The hotel is located just opposite the central bus terminal which is very convenient if you arrive by airlink bus from the airport. It's also just 5 mins walk to Connolly DART-station or to the Spire on O'Connoll street the opposite direction. To Temple Bar it's a 15 mins walk. We'd stay there again and can really recommend the Isaacs hotel. Attention: Do not mix up with Isaacs hostel at the far side of the same block.

The pictures shown on the website genuinely reflect the style of the hotel. It was clean and there was always someone cleaning which is good sign! All the staff were friendly and courteous looking after our every need. The irish breakfast is recommended although the only thing missing was baked beans. Would recommend to my friends and family and will definitely be returning to this hotel for further stays in Dublin. Another bonus to the hotel was the pub attached to it. It wasn't too noisy and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent! Friendly staff, efficient service, spotlessly clean rooms, and a relaxed atmosphere in a central location (5 mins walk from O'Connell Street, 15 mins from Grafton Street and 20-30 mins from The Point event venue). Hotel is in good location but can be a bit noisy early in the morning as the buses and trams go past frequantly. The hotel itself was ok, the rooms were clean and tidy but very hot and the windows are restricted. The showere was very poor as it went hot and cold from freezing to scalding, no matter what time of day you tried it. The hotel had been through a refurbishment but it feels like it has been done on the cheap as the flooring was very creaky like it hadnt been laid properley. The restaurant was very poor and I am suprised that they market it outside the hotel, as the pizza oven had broken we could only have pasta dishes but no garlic bread, we weren't told of this until we tried to order a pizza and garlic bread!! The bar on the other hand is fantastic (cant believe they are part of same hotel!) service and atmosphere was good. Dont think I woul duse this hotel again but would go for a drink in the bar if was that end of town.

I stayed in Issacs on 2 ocassions. I was greeted very well at reception. I was told both times that my room wasn't available - which was fine as I arrived around noon. When I asked if it was possible to get the rooms available the receptionist rang the housekeeper and I had a room within 20 minutes - excellent customer service response. The rooms are really lovely - a good size and very quiet with a bath/shower. I had dinner in the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised as I don't usually like hotel eating places. At all times staff greeted me with smiles. The cost of the room was great as I had booked online. The hotel is within walking distance of Connolly train station; Henry/Mary and Oconnol St as well as about 10 minutes from Grafton St. I'll be booking there on business again. Highly recommended.

The hotel Isaccs was very good. Food, staff very good. But the problem was: Very noisy outside. We were in room 107 and the main door under us make an awful noise. To understand that the staff has to try it. Go to the room and listen to the front door slamming again and again. We had great problems to sleep because people use the door the hole night. Otherwise the hotel was near the city centre. We could walk to everything. It was very good.

Hotel Isaacs is a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were really nice and tastefully decorated and the staff were very pleasant. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. The hotel is just round the corner from O'Connell St, the main high street so its in a great location for all the attractions and the bus from the airport goes right past it so you can't possibly get lost!
