comments Harrington Hall is ideally located but I must say I was very happy that our room was located at the rear of the hotel. I imagine that it could be very noisy with the nightclubs located nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay in Harrington Hall again.

comments We found the staff very polite and helpful at both Harrington Hall where we'd booked and where we parked the car, and the Harcourt Hotel where we were moved to. We were rung up before we arrived to ask if we minded changing hotels and we agreed (breakfast was thrown in) but in hindsight, we realise that the Harrington Hall is a better hotel and the Harcourt Hotel was not quite as comfortable a stay as we had been expecting. The staff did warn us about "Live Music" the first night but the very loud Nightclub right outside our room till 2am was impossible to ignore. we would love to have had the opportunity to stay at the Harrington Hall Hotel and give you our views as it looked lovely as we passed through to deposit and collect our carkeys! The Harcourt Hotel was ok but there were a few bits and pieces broken in the rooms and we were not keen on having breakfast in the bar when the floor was still sticky from the night before! Well situated, however, and as we said, lovely staff.

comments Very friendly and confortable at the same time. If you like to walk, in a beautiful place from where your visit to Dublin can start walking through green streets and parks as St. Stephen's Green.

comments Harrington Hall was a good place to stay but we were in Room 3 and they could not turn the heating off so we cooked even with the window fully open.

comments A very pleasant place to stay for a few days break. Spotlessly clean and very friendly and helpful staff. We were at the back on the ground floor and were not bothered by too much noise, apart from some revellers in the distance presumably in Grafton Street!.A very good walking distance from the tourist spots. We ate at Little Caesars just down the road and part of Harcourt Hotel (same group as Harrington Hall). A very good distance for walking to all the tourist sights.

comments Overall, our stay at the Harrington was very nice. We arrived early in the morning, before 6am, and they kindly accomodated us in their comfortable lounge. With Wifi access, we were able to let friends and family know of our arrival, even if we wouldn't be in our rooms until they were ready that afternoon. The place is very nicely appointed, and the staff are extremely helpful. We had a problem with a shower, and it was fixed within an hour. Front desk was very kind in recommending options for restaurants, shopping, etc. The only down side is that some of Dublin's most popular niteclubs are nearby, there on Harcourt Street. While this was not even evident during the day and early evening, it was painfully obvious in the wee hours of the morning. The taxicabs are incredibly aggressive with their horns to get fares. We heard constant beeping from 3-5am both Saturday and Sunday. But our rooms were on the street, rather than in the back. Guests in the back told us that the noise was not an issue for them. Ask for a room back from the street and you'll have a great stay!

comments After seeing the photos and write up I was initially dissapointed and the top floor room was small. On reflection it is probably good value for money considering the location. Staff were friendly and breakfast was OK.

comments The Harrington Hall Guesthouse exceeded all our expectations. It was perfectly situated in the Georgian part of the city on a relatively quiet street which had the added charm of trams trundling by every so often. The layout of the guest house was charming with what appeared to be many original features, but all beautifully restored. Our room was huge and decorated in a warm and comfortable style. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were wonderfully friendly and simply could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was of excellent quality. When we return to Dublin we will not consider staying anywhere else.

comments They had, I think, some excessive attention in saving money: if you like coffee or tea with a little bit more sugar, you can't have it, because in your room you'll find just the minumum; you will not have a daily complimentary water bottle, but only one bottle for your entire stay; you'll have only one shower cup, no more... Nice position, but too expensive for the service you can have.

comments Having booked 2 rooms, I would have expected them to be adjacent or at the very least on the same floor, not 2 floors apart. Rooms on the ground floor at the front of the building are noisy as the tram system runs in front of the building. I think people should be aware of this.
