comments I HAVE STAYED AT BOTH THE GRAFTON CAPITAL AND ITS SISTER HOTEL THE TRINITY CAPITAL IN THE PAST,AND HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THE EXPERIENCE VERY SATISFACTORY. ON MY LAST VISIT TO THE GRAFTON CAPITAL HOTEL, THIS OPINION WAS ONCE AGAIN CONFIRMED. THE HOTEL IS IDEALLY SITUATED FOR VISITORS TO DUBLIN BEING SO CLOSE TO THE CITY CENTRE AND ALL AMENITIES. ALSO THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT, AND THE HOTEL STAFF EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED THIS TIME, AS WE HAD TO REQUEST A VERY EARLY CHECK-OUT, AND THE HOTEL FACILITATED US BY PROVIDING (UNASKED) A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST IN THE ROOM PRIOR TO OUR DEPARTURE. THIS IS THE QUALITY OF SERVICE THAT ONE CAN EXPECT FROM THE THE CAPITAL HOTEL GROUP. I HAVE NO HESITATION IN HIGLY RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL FOR VISITORS TO DUBLIN WHO REQUIRE AN ATTRACTIVELY PRICED HOTEL, WHERE ENDEAVOURING TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER IS PARAMOUNT. WELL DONE, I WILL BE BACK, AND WILL CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

comments I often stay at the Trinity Capital Hotel so I had imagined that the Gafton Capital would be as modern as that...it wasn't however it still had its own charm. My room was a good size but a little dated especially in the bathroom...however great water pressure in the shower. ALso there was free wifi internet access so that was very useful. The staff were very helpful. Excellent location. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would go back.

comments The Grafton Capital Hotel was a nice hotel in the centre of Dublin. Close to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. The room was nice and had a charming old touch to it. However, the people working in the reception were not outstandingly service-minded. I am used to the receptionists being helpful in recommending restaurants and doing the bookings etc. In general, the receptionists did only their "job" in giving out key cards, answering questions, collecting money etc. We were not even greeted when passing by the empty reception. A real positive thing was the sunny weather. However, there was no air-condition and with the room towards East, the sun came up early and warmed up the room. Having an open window did not help at all.

comments The room and breakfast were very good but we had a room directly above the bar. there was no noise from the bar but the noise of the people outside the bar having a smoke went on into the early hours. As we were only staying two nights we did not complain but on a longer stay this would have become very annoying.

comments The main problem is that they have a club in the basement so at weekends you wont get any sleep until the early hours of the morning, We were on the 3rd floor at the back and it didnt make any difference. The actual hotel, the room and the staff and the location were very good.

comments As good as expected from the brochure, probably better. Comfortable and very convenient location. Breakfast not as good as expected, the buffet is a nice idea but no where near as good as freshly cooked. Friendly, helpful staff.

comments We were very comfortable at the Grafton. The only problem was that it was hard to find since it was kind of tucked in. I would stay there again.

comments This hotel is very central to the south side of the city. The room was comfortable however we were lucky to be their on a Monday night as our room, even though we were on the third floor was just over the entrance to the night club so I'm poresuming it could be busy on the weekend. The room where breakfast was served was quite dark and again I'm not so sure what it would be like the morning after a busy night. However, if I am looking for somewhere to stay in Dublin early in the week I would definately go back.

comments While the hotel itself was nice and clean and the breakfast was more than ample, the noise from the nightclub below will keep us away in the future. We didn't get to sleep until the wee hours of the morning.

comments Overall a good stay with helpful folk except during breakfast time. We were "told" to move our placement when we chose the only table left which had a view. When we were informed we did not"have to" move, it was clear we owould not get adequate servce sitting at this table. The next day it still appeared noone was very happy to be working there in the restaurant. No smiles and not even a pleasant look on their faces. The maids and front desk folks were outstanding and friendly.
