comments A most helpful and accomodating staff; a clean and nice, quiet room with quite adequate accoutrements (I stayed in room 226). I will definitely be coming back to the Fleet Street hotel when I visit Dublin in the future.

comments Excellent localization, expert and attentive concierge; appropriated room, bed and shower (no claim) . It's very close to restaurants, pubs, bar, and other facilities. OK !, there is some noisy specially on saturday evening to night, but absolutey tolerable if you are in Dublin, at Temple bar and feel like Irish for a while...

comments The location of the hotel was SUPER that makes the rating higher. Otherwise i think it was way to expensive for a really small room with not so good standard. The bathroom had the best standard in the room.

comments The hotel staff were very friendly, the only problem that i had, was my room would get smoky sometimes- i am not sure if the people in the room next to me were smoking or not- it would be very strong sometimes though. Otherwise my stay was wonderful and I had everything that I needed. It is in a very prime location.

comments I'm afraid we were quite disappointed with the standard of this hotel. The Reception staff appeared indifferent to their guests; the room was hot and quite tatty - definitely in need of an overhaul. Sorry, but we wouldn't choose to stay here again!

comments although the staff were very polite and helpful the room which we were allocated (302) was extremley shabby. The bathroom sink was practically shattered prior to our visit and was repaired with glue and silicoln. The carpet was badly stained and the wallpaper was peeling around the windows. The towels and bedding however were clean and of a high standard

comments I had a good size double room at the front, right next to temple bar. Has an air of faded elegance but quite a nice feeling. If you want to be in the thick of it then quite a good spot.

comments I requested an early check-in and was able to get into my room at 9am which was extremely helpful. All the reception staff I dealt with were very efficient and I would certainly stay at the Fleet Street again and recommend it to others.

comments Staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and well furnished however our sink had a large crack in it and there was some mildew in the shower cubicle. I believe the rooms are being renovated and we were unable to use the bar as this was being renovated also. The hotel is in a really good location and offers good value for money.

comments We stayed just one night at the Fleet Street Hotel. It is centrally located within the Temple Bar district, which is why we chose it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was satisfactory and clean. There was evidently some building work taking place either in the hotel or very close by. The noise was deafening but had stopped by 4.30pm. It resumed the following morning at 10.15am. I made no complaint as we were about to leave. We didn't try the breakfast. This hotel is ideal for a short stay.

comments I had quite a bit of luggage and it ws difficult to get it to the room - narrow hallways and lots of odd stairs. Fleet Street itself is very busy, lots of night life going on. Parking is very expensive in the lot across the street. Must return the room key to the front desk whenever you leave the hotel. I found this a little inconvenient.

comments Very convenient location, helpful staff and it certainly was worth the money. it was a bit noisy outside in evenings being in The Temple Bar area and my stay extending from Thu to Sun, but it wasnt much of a problem to me as I can sleep anywhere. It may be for those with sensitive ears. ;-)

comments The hotel is extremely well located - very central, major sights in walking distance, also aircoach stop is just around the corner. only thing i might have missed (if i hadn't brought my own) was a haird drier. very friendly staff at reception and breakfast room.

comments I really enjoyed this hotel. I stayed for two different night in May, 2007. I felt the staff was very nice. The location is great, as it is outside Temple Bar. My first room was very simple but the second room I stayed in was very nice. I would definitely come back here again.

comments We wanted a reasonably priced hotel with short distances to what we wanted to see and experience in Dublin, and that is exactly what we got. And with a car park nearby, we had no problems getting from the hotel with our rental car to the golf courses Seapoint and Portmarnock where we had booked tee times through East Coast Links.

comments I stayed only one night at the Fleet Street Hotel. The location was wonderfully central and. luckily, parking was convenient. I must admit that when I entered the lobby, the hotel looked a little tattered, and the staff was pleasant but not terribly friendly. The rooms, however, was fine. Though small, it was very clean, modern and comfortable. If you're not looking for a lot of glamour, the hotel works very well.

comments The breakfast was great, cost 6.95 euro extra but well worth it. The hotel is a bit old fashioned and the lounge shabby but it was clean. I was disappointed that the hotel no longer has a bar.

comments The location is excellent, and I suppose you get what you pay for. However the hotel is run down and our room was very small, with noisy plumbing. The room was cold but on complaining we were given an electric radiator which did the trick. It is unlikely we would stop there again.

comments Much worse than I expected. The Hotel have to be renovated or, at least, refreshed. Even if it is an old hotel I expect clean carpets and a little more up to date interior. The staff was very nice, but overall this hotel is, from my point of view only a 2 star hotel. If I new the status before booking I had booked a more expensive hotel.

comments My boyfriend and I stayed there for one night in the midle of the week. It's very easy to find it- just turn right on Fleet St and you imediately spot it. There is a parking down the road where hotel guests get discount- we paid 26euro for 24h. The staff were ok, helpful if you asked them anything. The room was nice, although the curtains in the bathroom were pretty old and a bit broke- definitely need a change. The only thing I really didn't like was that they asked us to leave the key at the reception desk every time we went out. This meant that on return we'd have to stop at the 1st floor- where the reception desk is, take the key, then wait again for the elevator to take us to the last floor. Overall it was fine.

comments Excellent location in Temple Bar, in the heart of all the action. As a consequence, some late night street noise meant it was not the quietest hotel! Room decor a little shabby, shower didn't drain properly and no action was taken on reporting it.

comments Con: Room was quite small and dark. Only the fan of the air-conditioning was working, no cooling -> extremely hot and muggy at night (but given, it was unusually hot in Dublin during this time). Pro: Ideal hotel for visits of pubs in the Temple Bar District. At least our room was pretty quiet for this location

comments Staff friendly & helpful, room clean & tidy, location fantastic. One problem & that was the noise from 04.00hrs there was a lot of noise with beer barrels being delivered etc. Apart from that a pleasant stay.

comments The hotel should more properly be classed as a hostel given the poor and worn decor and the minimal room facilities. Payment of the bill upon check in was required and is not something one would expect from a proper hotel. Although the location is excellent the accommodation standard is well below par for the room rate demanded.
