comments El apartamento está muy bien y limpio un poco justo de menaje de cocina. Se encuentra muy cercano del centro de dublin. Puedes hablar en castellano con una de las personas que están en recepción, se agradece cuando tienes algún problema o consulta. En general muy bien.

comments The apartment was really lovely. Modern decor, comfy and had everything you could need. Our room had a balcony over looking the canal which was really nice especially at night. Its also only about 15 mins walk to the temple bar area. If I return to dublin (maybe when i win the lotto as the drink prices are astronomical!) I will definately stay at the Ellis Quay apartments.

comments Nice airy clean apartments. A little way out from St Stephens Green where I work however there is a tram stop close by which is good. The apartments are in a quite situation and very convenient to the Spar shop for groceries. I was very pleased with my stay.

comments This was the second time my daughter and I have stayed there. As before, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and the apartment was spotless. It is also good to have secure parking. Due to a prior engagement I was unable to avail of the free breakfast on the first morning but my daughter had it and said it was lovely. We would both recommend Ellis Quay very highly. It is quite a walk into the centre though we enjoyed that, but the Luas runs right behind the building so it couldn't be easier for anyone. We will difinitely be going back.

comments The appartment was clean on arrival and had all the amenities necessary for a self catered weekend away. The location was also perfect - in walking distance from many of the main attractions and 100m from the bus stop to catch the Tour bus. Lovely free breakfast on arrival, which is ideal after travelling and above a Spa which again is great to grab a few bits and pieces for the weekend.

comments If you are looking for an apartment to stay in in Dublin you will not find much better than Ellis Quay - our flat overlooked the river, was clean, tidy and extremely comfortable. The free breakfast included within the price was also great and the locatioin is perfect as its far enough out of town that is not noisy but easy to get into town whenever you want. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

comments The apartment was great and staff were friendly and helpful even though we checked in late. Only problem was that the kitchen wasn't that well equipped for cooking anything more than pasta! For all those who are self catering, there is an alternative to Spar..there is a Tesco near the tram stop in the city centre

comments Lovely clean apartments. Paid a little extra for river view and it was well worth it. Had a free breakfast in the cafe underneath, which was very good, used the cafe the second morning too and were given a large discount as we were staying in the ellis apartments. Would recomment these apartments. i will definitely use them on my next stay in Dublin.

comments I had a nice stay there. I read other reviews before I went, and the part about the dishes were correct. If you are planning on making any large meals, you really can't. There are just not enough dishes for all needed to do that. That didn't really affect me much though. I managed. Also, the washer and drier was a bit different. The drier took about 3 hours to get a little load dried. I never questioned it, I just kept on using it. It might not be that way in all units. The staff was great. They helped with everything we needed. There is a little grocery store right at the corner, and a pharmacy. That was very convenient for us. The walk to town was not far either. If I go back to Ireland, I will stay here again.

comments Accueil vraiment charmant et très professionnel ! J'étais arrivé en retard (par rapport aux horaires d'ouvertures de "la loge") et j'ai appelé le numéro de portable inscrit sur la porte. Le "concierge" est aussitôt venu à ma rencontre et m'a excusé de ce retard très gentiment sans aucun énervements de sa part. Il a été très concilient sur mon anglais approximatif et m'a donné les clés de mon appartement. J'avais pris la chambre simple, et quel émerveillement en découvrant les lieux : état parfait, propreté nickel. Grand lit double très confortable et neuf ! Pour seulement 50 euros par jour, j'ai eu droit à un véritable appartement complet (coin salon avec table et 4 chaises - un canapé de très bonne facture et un "sofa" une place - une table basse - télé/internet wifi - un coin cuisine complet comprenant un frigo, un four à micro onde et un four à chaleur tournante, des plaques de cuissons rapides et même une machine à laver ! sans compter les nombreux placards...et la bouilloire pour faire chauffer l'eau ^^) Côté salle de bain, là aussi, rien à redire, propre. Vraiment, le seul défaut que je donne à ce système génial de concilié hôtel/appartement pour un prix défiant toute concurrence sur le sol français, c'est que la nuit, on entends souvent les sirènes des voitures de patrouilles. J'y ai passer 2 nuits mais, j'étais au premier étage... enfin, "Ellis Quay" est bien situé par rapport au centre ville, à 15 min max en tramway. Un pur régal. 5/5.

comments Estuvimos del 23 de diciembre de 2008 al 30 de diciembre de 2008. Toda la familia! 5 adultos!! volveríamos por supuesto al mismo apartamento!! Excelente localización. A pie esta muy cerca del transporte, sea metro ligero, Lua, o de los autobuses. Limpio, amplio, bien dotado, aunque se podría ampliar unas cositas más de cocina. El personal muy amable. No tuvimos ningún problema! Una muy buena vista al Río. Lo recomendamos ampliamente!!

comments The 2-br apartment was ideal for my wife & I and our 3 kids when we stayed there for 5 nights. Due to a flight delay we arrived at 1am when the office was closed, but a call to a mobile number displayed on the door saw someone promptly come over to check us in. Next morning, it took only a walk across the street to the 24-hr supermarket to get bread, milk and eggs for breakfast. Cooking appliances and utensils were complete. It being a cold week in November, we were grateful that all the heaters in every room worked. We were on the top floor overlooking the river, giving us quite spectacular views from the balcony. We felt very secure, yet getting in and out was very convenient with the electronic touchkey, including for the secure basement parking. We had total privacy and felt very much at home, conveniently free to do as we pleased, unlike some hotels I've been to where the reception staff give scornful looks when they see us carrying bagsful of takeaway food to our rooms. If we get to travel to Dublin again, we'll definitely choose to stay here again.

Supermarket and tram-stop around the corner The staff was nice and friendly and the service was also very good; one of the guests had a bad matras, and after complaining we got a new one within the our. The apartment was nice but not all to clean. Not dirty also, but a bit of dust here and there. The only thing we missed was a coffee maker!! But on the next trip we sure would like to stay here again. I can recommend it to anyone.

comments The flat was large and very clean and modern. We had a balcony and even an extra bedroom we didn't expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that we could not understand the hot water system, even after a staff member explained it. We were literally boiling water in the electric tea kettle because we could not keep the hot water going in the shower for longer than 5 minutes. We would definitely stay here again, however, and recommend it to others.

More kitchen equipment would be useful as it is a self catering appartment. Showers would benefit from being run off the electric not hot water tank (based on having 3 cold or luke warm showers.)

comments Apartment was GREAT. Such a nice haven. The place, linens, bathroom -- everything was clean and tidy and in order. The security entrance is great, and although it's not dead-center in the middle of all the action, it's so very close. SPAR supermarket is literally around the corner, as well as a neighborhood pub, which is always hopping. Will definitely stay there again on the next trip to Dublin!!!

comments Estuve 4 dias en dublin y la estancia en los apartamentos fue estupenda, la recomiendo.. solo recordar dos detalles importantes en caso de que el avion llegue tarde y no se encuentre nadie en recepcion solo tendreis que llamar al numero de telefono que hay en la puerta y enseguida aparecera el portero que os atenderá amablemente. segundo, tener cuidado con los interuptores que tocais en el apartamento la caldera que calienta el agua de la ducha debera esta encendido con antelacion para que salga agua caliente,,, si leeis la informacion que hay en el apartamento no tendreis problema.. de nuevo muchas gracias por hacer mi estancia un poco mas agradable.. d.

comments Five of us travelled and this place was perfect for us. Free wireless, DVD player, table and stocked kitchen (could have done with a washing up cloth or similar though). Post booking E-mail contact was good. Location was decent, near the (overpriced) Guiness exhibition, 15 minute walk along the river to Temple Bar, but plenty of decent cheaper bars nearby (like Dice), and curry shops etc.

The Ellis Quay self-catering apartment option gave us a larger living space and the option to prepare some of our own meals, all for the same price as a moderate hotel. Our apartment was clean, spacious, modern, and comfortable (we especially appreciated having a washing machine in the unit). It is conveniently situated in a quiet neighborhood on the Liffey. EQ is two blocks from the Luas light rail line and within an easy 15-minute walk of Dublin's museums and main attractions. A little Spar market is just across the street. The EQ staff was very friendly and helpful! We would certainly stay here again.

Estaban muy limpios, muy bien cuidados, tenian de todo: mantas, toallas, sabanas, plancha.....la cocina muy completa: lavadora, horno, nevera, micoondas, tostadora....... comments Excellent views from the flat and great to have 2 bathrooms with the 2 bedrooms. Everything was very clean and modern. Just one or two small things. Very little equipment in the kitchen -something to make coffee would have been nice and instructions for the washing machine would have been helpful.There were no bedside lamps in our flat which was a little strange. Still I would recommend the flats highly - if the above could be attended to they would be pretty much perfect! I would certainly go back.

Hand soap, paper towels, cutting board, wine glasses. The walls of the apartment are looking pretty bad a coat of paint would be a great improvement.

comments very noisy - i had to move the bed to the living room because i coudn't sleep in the bedrom. TV didn't work on numerous occasions and had to get someone to fix it, lights didn't work when i got home at 11:30pm and since reception is only open from 9am -6pm i didn't know what to do but luckily one of the reception guys was doing some work on another unit so he fixed it. also they don't provide soap or a hairdryer and only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 days !! all in all. it wasok but i'd probbly have a look at staying somewhere else next time...

The staff were very helpful and there is a shop on the corner that sold everything we could need for our weekend away and it was only a 10 minute stroll to Temple Bar. The next time we are in Dublin we will be staying at The Ellis Quay Apartments.

comments It would have helped to have more instructions on the use of the clothes washer/dryer and TV/audio system. Laundry soap on site would be useful as small enough quantities are not available at stores. A few more basic kitchen utensils would be helpful. eg There wasn't a teapot on site and a few more cutlery items for cooking would have helped. Otherwise, the apartment was clean and roomy and in a handy central location.

I could not locate any instructions and because it was Christmas, the front desk was closed. We desparately needed more cooking utensils like pans etc. Most were damaged and or so dirty it was impossible to clean them.

comments Myself and my family recently spent 3 nights at the ellis quay appartments and it was absolutely perfect accommodation for us. Ity was spacious and clean and so close to the city centre you could walk, and were better off walking!!! The only slight minus was the kitchen equipment - utensils were too basic eg. frying pan just too small and another few plates, cups etc. wouldn't harm. The beds were so comfortable you almost didn't want to get up!!! I have infact already e-mailed ellis quay appartments to let them know how pleased I was and I will definately be using it again. Maybe special offers could be e-mailed to us.
