comments We stayed in one of the penthouse rooms which had a balcony and amazing view of the Liffey River. Waking up and starting the day with this view was wonderful. Staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant "Italian Corner" was very good. You could not ask for a better location, if you want to be able to walk to all points of interest in Dublin. We strolled for hours every day and found Eliza Lodge a wonderful home base. The rooms are clean, yet small...but it did not interfere with our ability to enjoy our stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

comments The customer service is excellent and the room is a decent size and great location in Temple Bar. The weekday rates are a great deal for the price, but the weekend rates are a bit high for what you get. We had breakfast downstairs one day and the food is very good. I would recommend this hotel.

comments Eliza Lodge is concerned about their guests and makes every attempt to accomodate them. Even though the view from Eliza Lodge is spectacular, I was concerned about noise. It is in Temple Bar, after all. I requested a quiet room, and got exactly that. No view, but I was able to sleep soundly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, being able to stay in the City Center, central to so many sights, and yet I was also able to relax at night. I highly recommend Eliza Lodge.

comments We stayed at the Eliza in late September 2010 and were very pleased. The first night, we were on the first floor and found the traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) noise quite loud, but the hotel staff were able to move us to a third floor room for the remainder of our stay. Obviously, traffic noise is totally out of the hotel's control, but we appreciated the helpful attitude. The helpful attitude extended to everyone we met at the hotel -- quick to answer our questions about where to find various things (nearest bus stop, bank machine, etc.) and friendly in general. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location can't be beaten. This was our second stay at the Eliza (previously in 2007) and won't be our last!

comments I was frankjly a bit worried about choosing this accomodation. I thought that given its location, right at Temp[le Bar, it would be noisy- it was not. I thought that given the reasonabble price of the room, I would havew a problem with the bed- I was wrong- they really ARE orthopedic beds, and I've never slept on a more comfortable mattress. The room was verysmall, but I didn't go on vacartion to spend my time in a hotel room, so it suited me fine. The staff was helpful about calling us taxis, and addressing any requests we made promptly and with a smile. I would recommend them highly.

comments We loved our stay at the Eliza Lodge. We had a first floor corner room with windows that overlooked Fitzsimon's and the river. It was a beautiful bright room and was gorgeous. We were there on a Saturday night, and the Temple Bar area is quite active till the wee hours, but we loved the room and the area. I'd recommend it to all!

comments The Eliza Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. The room was clean enough, there was plenty of hot pressured water for showering, and the windows opened to a wonderful view of the city and the Liffey. For having the absolute best location (really, hands down the best location) in the city, we felt very safe and trusted the staff. We traveled to England for two days and the Eliza held our luggage for us for no charge. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone else. We liked it so much that we stayed at the Eliza at the 2nd time we were in Dublin.

Jederzeit wieder.

comments Dear Elizalodge, dear management, We stay with pleasure at the Eliza lodge Room 203 and for sure we come back next year. Everything was oké in my book, so we where happy with the room, the service and the location. It was the first time for us to stay in Elizalodge. We stay for more than 20 years every year at the former ASTON hotel. After transforming the Aston hotel in a Budget accommodation (Abigail’s) the standards are so low and decreased in service opportunities that we decided to look to a Hotel in the same category and same area. We found the Elizalodge en we are more than happy with you. Thanks for the hospitality ad we hope to find next year the same atmosphere. comments Staying in the Temple Bar area of Dublin was a choice we made to be in the thick of the night life. The location, staff, our room, was great---We were most pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of our room--which was a corner room overlooking the Liffey & the the comings & goings of the lively spot we were in. The staff was great & made our stay most enjoyable---including breakfast & the dinner we had at the restaurant. I would stay there again.

comments The location is terrific--right in the thick of Temple Bar--and the noise from the street wasn´t as loud as I was expecting. comments Lovely place, friendly & helpful staff. The only thing that I had a problem with was the doors. All the room doors and hall doors close with an awful bang, and with other guests coming in throughout the night the constant banging kept waking me up. I understand that people are coming and going at different times but the doors all seem to make an unusally load bang when they shut.

The staff is helpful, polite and very nice. There are restaurants near by and all the sites of Dublin are in walking distance. I normally stay at the Shelbourne but due to the location and staff, I'm willing to give up the high priced Shelbourne for this hotel on all future visits.

comments The Eliza Lodge and staff are top notch in my book. My accomodations were attended to and with cheer. I will stay at the Eliza at every opportunity on future visits to Dublin. Although the Temple Bar Trad Fest was taking place during my visit, and the biggest complaint I've heard from folks about the Eliza is the excessive noise from similar pub-goers, I had no problem with the noise. I had earplugs at the ready but never used them. Thanks to everybody! And best regards!

comments This was the 2nd time I stayed at the ELiza Lodge and there were simply no complaints. The rooms are not the biggest, but they are modern and clean. I liked the security feature where access to each floor is restricted to card holders on that floor. Both trips were in January so Temple bar was relatively quiet in the wee hours, but one can;t be surprised if folks in the streer make some noise into the night in Temple Bar. Actually, we were guilty of joining in a busker's sing-song around the corner on our way home from the bars. I made a few requests like facing the Liffey on a higher floor with an early check-in and all was accomodated. They weren't able to be as accomodating on my previous visit when they were more crowded. The staff was friendly and sat us down for a cup of tea when we had to wait a few minutes for a room modification at my request. I only wish they had refrigerators and ice machines --but the lack of these amenities in Europe is common. Overall: great location and fine place if you want to be in the middle of the action.

Ci tornerei senz'altro.
