comments For the money we paid, the location and the fantastic full irish breakfast it was well worth it. On a down side the room was very noisy as it was close to the ventilation unit - wouldn't have been happy if we'd paid full price. But we didn't, and on the whole I'm very happy.

comments The rooms were small and the furnishings were quite old an worn, but for the price it's acceptable and the location is very convenient.

comments We had a most enjoyable three day stay at the Clifton Court Hotel. We had a problem with the shower not draining but this was attended to as soon as we reported it. The rooms were clean but basic and the hotel was very central for everything we wanted to see and do and for returning home at night after enjoying the nightlife. The bar in the hotel had live entertainment of a high standard and we particularly enjoyed the Irish dancers. The breakfasts were very good and helped sustain us for hectic days sightseeing. Our room had good views over the River which was particularly beautiful at night. I would have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again.

comments There were a lot of problems regarding the facilities/equipments in the hotel rooms. In the room (number 201) that we were first placed, all the sockets did not work. The bed-lamp shook (not fixed well) and the bulb was broken. It took us about one hour in the room waiting for someone to fix the problems, but no one could do it. In the second room (number 300), one of the sockets was broken. No drawer at all in the desk. We thought such a desk was unsuitable to put in a hotel room. A small shelf and a box for the toilet paper were also broken. No changeover plug/adopter in the room. Even we got some help from the desk clerks in the hotel, it was really not convenient to charge the electricity appliances for example laptop computer, mobile, camera, and electric toothbrush etc. We thought the service of the desk clerks was good.

comments Thank you for your assistance in finding an accomodation suitable to our first two nights in Dublin. The location of the hotel is very convenient in getting to the hotel and doing the sights. The irish music and dance the pub attached to the hotel provided were very enjoyable. The receptionista were helpful. The only problem is our room is on the 2nd floor, with lots of narrow stairs for us to carry up and down our suitcases.

comments Well placed hotel but relative high noise from the street. Parking in the near supermarket garage is quite expensive. Food and Music in the Hotel were good. I will use the hotel again due to the good location but next time without a car. Very friendly and helpfull personnel. Thank you
