The B&B was lovely! The room was small (for one), but very comfortable. I really enjoyed meeting the owner, Mary, who was very responsive to any request! The security of the B&B was really good; not just anyone could come in! Which made me feel comfortable especially staying there alone! Thanks to Mary and her staff for doing such a great job at making it comfortable for visitors!

Me and my best friend stayed in this hotel as part of a girlie weekend, we had a small problem of no hot water on our first evening, they could not have been more helpful and changed our room. Very clean and an exceptional breakfast, with excellent friendly staff!! LOVED IT THERE, EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY! Great location 10/10! Thanks Jen and Mandy xx

Location - excellent, very close to O'Connell Street. I also felt very safe walking to and from the guest house on my own at night. Staff - excellent, all really friendly. Guest house - Beautiful Georgian property. Staff on duty 24 hours per day and you had to ring the bell to gain entry to the guest house. I stayed in a single room (number 8) where the only downsides were the shower cubicle was a little too small and the shower head wasn't fixed, making it awkward to shower. Also, there is no lift, but to compensate that, there are guest rooms on the ground floor.

Great place! The double room was large as well as the ensuite bathroom. I was on the top floor and had a wonderful view. Breakfast was good and the staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The guesthouse was just a short walk from O'Connell Street, where everything happens in Dublin!

I was really satisfied with the price and quality of the Clifden Guesthouse, it was the perfect place to stay as a single traveler. The only thing is that I wish I knew ahead of time that it wasn't super close to the center of the city. Otherwise I'd stay there again!
