comments Gentilissimi nel servizio è un hotel davvero fantastico. Comodo e dai prezzi davvero convenienti risulta perfetto per un bel soggiorno a Dublino. Per raggiungere il centro a piedi sono necessari circa20-30 minuti, ma questo problema viene ovviato da una fermata del pullman proprio davanti all'hotel. Camere pulite e bagni all'interno. Decisamente ottimo

comments Used this hotel when I was getting laser eye surgery done in the mater private, the location is very handy for the mater 10-15 mins walk. As we did not have breakfast i cannot comment on the food. On both occassions the rooms were lovely first night stay was facing the road but there was no noise from the road and slept well. The beds were extremely comfortable. All staff members were very pleasant, nice and helpful. We parked our car in the car park at the rear of the hotel this was a very safe area and the price for the parking and the room for the night was extremely cheap for the capital city. I choose this hotel for the price and was greatly suprised to see it was of a very high standard for the price we paid. I would recommend it to anyone who is going to be having appointments in the Mater or would like to stay around the phibiosborough area.

comments There was a cracked tile on the floor of our bathroom (room 53) which kept coming up, apart from that the room was brilliant. The website does need to be updated for the buses as there is now no number 10 bus but the bus you require is the 46a going to Phoenix Park.

comments Wonderful hotel, enjoyed our stay very much! Comfortable beds, great,safe, location and not too far from anything and on a good bus route. Loved it. The only problems we found were the door handle and the shower being a bit slow but it was still warm. Very nice hotel and we will definitely return :)

comments We enjoyed every minute staying at Charleville, there is a bus stop pretty much just outside the door which takes you straight to O'Connells st (prob about 7 mins). There is a Russian lady who works there who is exceptionally friendly and couldn't do enough for us. we arrived on Valentines day slightly unprepared and not sure what restaurant to book, she went through some of her favourites with us and googled all the contact details. Communal areas are very clean however my only negative is that the rooms aren't 4 star. They were fine for us, but if its a 4 star luxury bedrooms then maybe this isnt for you, but if you are like us, want somewhere local, convenient, friendly 'home from home' type atmosphere then look no further.

comments Muy buen precio. La atención del personal ESTUPENDA y la habitación acojedora y con baño privado. Lo único, la ubicación, está un poco alejado del centro pero justo delante hay una parada de bus que en 5 minutos te lleva al centro de la ciudad.

comments Note for owners - your rooms deserve a bit of repair work and refreshing - in room 39 the paint on bathroom ceiling was clipping and hanging, the toilet seat is broken. Both bedside lamps are also not working.

comments I've stay regularly when in Dublin for business. Great value for money, clean, nice bed covers, free wifi, limited TV channels. I have the contently breakfast and it is good value, includes free newspaper.

comments Hi! In your web it says that bus to be taken from city center is 10: I would correct that, because that bus does not long exist. It is bus 46A, stop Saint Peter's Church is correct ;) (It would help to other visitors I guess..)

comments The location was good - we walked back from the centre of town. It was clean and given what we paid excellent value for money. Only complaint maybe is that being just a few steps up from reception - we were able to hear everything going on and people coming and going.

comments Everyone at the Charleville Lodge could not have been nicer to deal with. The website needs to be updated to allow people coming to the Lodge to know that it is no longer bus 10 but instead 46a to get you there. The room was small but clean and more than adequate. When I visit Ireland I would definately consider reboking my room with Charleville Lodge.

comments Visitamos Charleville Lodge en Diciembre de 2010; es un hotel ideal para una visita a Dublin, ya que se encuentra a 20- 25 minutos a pié de la céntrica O'Connell Street. También tiene una parada del autobús 46A muy cerca que lleva directamente al centro. La habitación estaba limpia i correcta. El lavabo era muy pequeño pero suficiente para una estancia de tres dias. Lo aconsejamos para gente que quiere ahorrar en los costes de hotel.

comments I had to cancel my stay at Charlevile Lodge with very little notice. This was due to weather (snow and ice) and road conditions. I spoke to a very pleasant woman and was delighted to be told that I would not be charged for the room that night; very unusual these days. As a result, I intend to, and look forward to staying at Charleville Lodge whenever I am in Dublin in the future

comments Every thing was up to our expectations. The room was clean and the bathroom was a reasonable size. The staff were friendly and helpful. Charleville House is within walking distance of the centre of Dublin or the bus is available across the road. We would have no hesitation in using it again.

comments The guest house is really nice. Closed to the centre thanks to bus n.10. The staff is hospitable and kind. Rooms are comfortable, clean, bathroom is quite small but in on the whole I am very satisfied.

Probabily i will came back in Charleville Lodge. comments Everyone was lovely and very helpful. We weren't sure how long we'd stay and asked if they had a room for the next night...Thank goodness they did and it was only 5 euros more and a suite!!! Breakfast can be busy so the earlier you get there the better off you are. John and I loved it!!!

comments Sono estremamente soddisfatta del mio soggiorno al Charleville. Alla reception sono gentili e disponibili, la colazione è davvero buona e puoi richiedere pane in quantità (oltre a gustare la tipica colazione irlandese con tanto di salsiccette). Le camere sono molto pulite, caldi i piumini e profumati gli asciugamani. Noi abbiamo scelto la stanza con il bagno privato (en suite) e c'era la vasca da bagno (molto utile per ovviare alla carenza del bidet). Dista circa un quarto d'ora a piedi da O' Connell Street (e dunque da Temple Bar e Grafton). Ben collegata con i mezzi anche per l'aereoporto. Proprio sotto il Charleville si ferma il 10 che con poche fermate porta ad O' Connell. Da lì, se dovete andare in aeroporto si prende il 737. Consiglio di acquistare i biglietti del bus in anticipo (c'è un buon risparmio con i settimanali o con quelli per due e tre giorni). Lo consiglio vivamente..siamo stati davvero bene!

comments The front desk attendants always went out of their way to tend to our needs...they prepared for us to eat breakfast early in the morning (before opening), arranged a cab for us, and also recommended a wonderful local restaurant. The full Irish breakfast was FANTASTIC.

comments Personnel charmant et accueillant. Hotel situé à 20' du centre ville à pieds et 10' en bus. Calme et pour ceux qui apprécient l'Irish breakfast, c'est copieux. Excellent point de chute à Dublin. Bien situé par rapport à l'aéroport (pas besoin de traverser tout Dublin, appréciable, compte tenu de la circulation)

comments The room was fine but the bed was very soft, maybe in need of a new mattress!! If you timed it wrong you could have to wait for a seat for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful

comments The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast meals very much. The free parking at the back of the building was a plus. The location is very good - downtown is only a 15-20 minute walk, as is Phoenix Park.
