comments Location was fine (near the Spire and within walking distance of Temple Bar.) The only problem we had was that our door would not lock on the first night. When I went to check at the front desk, I was told that there was nothing they could do and we were free to either leave our stuff in the unlocked room or haul it down the steps to store and then haul back up when we came back. Asked about a reduced rate and was told that I was already getting a reduced rate. We were moved to a new room the next day. Room was adequate and breakfast was okay.

comments Our stay at Celtic Lodge was very pleasant. Good location, near the bus station and a nice and short walk to mayor turist places. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Price very razonable. Only one negative thing, no lift to carry the suitcase to the third floor! Anyway, I strongly recommend this place.

comments I was very pleased with the level of service from staff, they were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were small but were kept to a very good standard, and the breakfasts each morning were very tasty! It was the ideal location for seeing dublin, very central and close to all amenities. I will definatly be staying here again!

comments Celtic Lodge is, as advertised, conveniently located;traditional music, dancing, and many tourist sites are within walking distance. Our room was clean and freshly painted and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and served in an attractive setting. The only significant problem we encountered was the promise that our room was non-smoking, yet there was an ashtray in the room, and the room and linens smelled like smoke.

comments Great hotel right in the centre of Dublin and within a few minutes walk of O'Connell Street and Temple Bar. Rooms were small, but clean and tidy. The shower room and toilet were also clean and there was plenty of hot water. The only thing disappointing was the view of someone's back yard, but in saying that, we weren't in the room for most of the time anyway.

comments WE HAD A GREAT STAY IN DUBLIN THE CELTIC LODGE IS IDEALLY SITUATED IN THE CENTRE OF DUBLIN CLOSE TO THE BUS STATION. THE ACCOMODATION IS BASIC BUT CLEAN. WE STAYED THERE AT THE WEEKEND SO IT WAS A BIT NOISEY LATE ON, BUT AFTER A FEW GUINESS THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO MATTER. WE WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM ABOUT RECOMENDING IT TO OTHERS.

comments we had a very pleasant stay at celtic lodge the room was vwery clean, a little small but you only sleep in the room, as there is too much to do in Dublin. The full irish breakfast was brilliant and plenty of it, it really sets you up for the day. The celtic lodge is also in a prime position as it is only a stones throw from the famous o'connell street. The staff there ewre also very nice and helpful, I would definately stay there again and again.

comments Me and my boyfriend had a wonderfull extended weekend in Dublin staying at the Celtic Lodge. The hotel has a premium location just minutes away from the city centre as well as all means of transport, including the Airport Link coach service. At weekend nights, you can hear the nearby Celtic Pub a little but it is not disturbing and the place is generally kind of quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was a bit small but we didnt need a bigger one as we just came back to sleep over. The room was very clean and tidy, the bathroom in a perfect condition and very clean as well (it smelled a little like cleaning spray upon arrival, which we fixed by opening the window :). The breakfast is the same each morning but you can choose from a variety af foods, don't really need to order the full one every day. I will definitely recommend the Celtic Lodge to my parents, who will vist Dublin next year and would gladly recommend it to anyone else.

comments I came to stay at the gusthouse for 3 nights in July 2006 with a friend. It had everything we required. The room was very clean and we found the staff on the reception to be very helpful. We could not have asked for a better location as we were within 2 minutes walk of O'Connell Steet and 5 minutes from Temple Bar. As a student I found the guesthouse a great place to stay and would reccommend it to others looking for accomodation within walking distance of the main tourist areas.
