Everything was great, Hotel owner is AWESOME. And the location is really very nice for doing most anything in Central Dublin.

Proximity to city centre ideal. Noisy guests returning late at night and yelling and shouting could be heard too easily through room walls. Breakfasts service and quality excellent.

Very comfortable and convenient accomodation, with friendly helpful staff. Generous sized bedroom, and attractive decor. Only 2 negatives were that there seemed to be staff accomodation above, so lots of noise at 5.00 am, and the breakfasts could have been better organised. However we would happily return again, and it was good value.

Very good time at the Castle hotel, clean room and bathroom, staff full of attention, correct dinner in front of the fire place, quick service for breakfast. Slightly noisy on the main road. Thanksfrom a French guest

the staff anf the hotel were lovely, no faults at all but my one complaint would be that the cups in the room weren't cleaned after we'd used them and it looked like the dirty towels had been put back up on the rail again instead of clean ones being provided. apart from that its highly recommended and in the heart of o'connell street.

Very pleased with our stay at the Castle Hotel, helpful staff, clean & tidy rooms. Good breakfast. Very handy for Dublin centre and all tourist sights, also Croke Park. Great to be able to leave our car in the car park for a modest suym of 10euros. All in all very good stay.

Very welcoming and helpful. Was able to check in earlier than official time. Room clean and good value. Evening meal very good. Perfect for Croke Park - easy walk - and for bus to airport also an easy walk. Staff all very helpful and cheerful. TV in bar needs to fixed higher up the wall so all seats can see it easily.

The location was great. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel could use some updating but it suited us just fine.

on the whole , it is good . Just the first night , our room was very noisy in the middle of the night because there was people talked at the courtyard which our room was located. We changed to another room the next two nights and it was nice and quiet.

It took a few tries when we arrived to find a room that was acceptable. The first one we were shown was right in the passage between the bar and the lobby, and would have been extremely noisy. The room we eventually got was quiet, but very far from the front of the hotel. Bringing our luggage to and from the room was difficult. No offer was made to help us in this respect. The room itself was clean and comfortable and adequate for our purposes. The hotel location was excellent, very convenient to Dublin city center.

Rooms were basic, but they were clean and tidy. I would advise that you ask not to be put in a room that is near or actually over the service entrance to the side of the building overlooking Frederick Street. On the first night we were situated over the service entrance & were woken a number of times, not only by noise from the busy street outside but also by the various staff & delivery movements, which was compounded by the service entrance having the noisiest gate in Dublin ! However that said the matter was resolved promptly by staff with a move to another room. Breakfast was on the basic side & is served in the soulless basement dining room. I would stay here again, however having stayed elsewhere in Dublin before, this may not be a first choice.
