comments I am so happy to chose this hotel, it was really clean, so convenience for bar downstairs. The staff are unbelievable friendly and so helpful with everything. They even post my postcard for me, Thank you again and sure will be back but not only one night this time - I am sure it will be more than a week staying there again.

comments I have now used Cassidy's Hotel everytime I have traveled to Dublin this year and would happily recommend it to family & friends. It is in a brilliant central location and has a warm inviting feel to it.

comments Cassidy's location was perfectly situated within walking distance of all the major Dublin attractions. The rooms were small but cosy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a few hotels during my trip to Dublin and I think Cassidy's was the best value for my money.

comments myself and 12 mates went to dublin for my birthday and stopped at cassidy's hotel, i've stayed there many times and it is always nice, this is the first time i have been in the executive rooms and they are great. the hotel is so close to all the main parts in dublin. can't wait to get back over there.

comments A very comfortable stay in the heart of dublin. The room was spacious and well equipped, the air con worked well and was most welcome. The bed was very comfy, no discernible noise at night whatsoever. The breakfast was great, the usual spread of juices/fruits/cereals and a "help-yourself" buffet style cooked section.......loved the bacon! All-in-all, a lovely stay in a very friendly hotel in a great location. Would use again.

comments Great accomodation right in the heart of Dublin, with decent sized rooms, and hardly noticed the traffic. Parking is in the secure car park 3 mins walk away for 10 euros overnight unless you are lucky enough to get a place in the small area at the back of the hotel. We would stay again when we next visit Dublin.

comments We stayed for 2 nights over the may bank holiday weekend and i couldn't fault anything. The room was perfect and the hotel is centrally located to Dublin City centre. The staff are extremely helpful and the bar staff made having a drink a pleasure. its always a good sign when they remember your order the 2nd night of your stay!! we ate in the hotel both nights and it was gorgeous. comments I would award 5 stars apart from one problem. The location is fantastic, the room was very confortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. However the boiler was out of order two mornings, which meant I couldn't take a shower. If I was sure of hot water, I would look forward to staying here again.

comments .Lovely stay friendly helpfull staff able to chech in earlier than stated time was a real bonus as we had a very early arrival & were very tired,the only negative for us was we had upgraded to a delux room which cost extra for each night,the room was so far away from reception, we had to go to a lower floor to get a lift to another floor to get to our room which was clean & comfortable but no more than other rooms i have stayed in on previous visits to the hotel,so i feel i paid extra for no evident benifits

comments The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious well furnished and very clean. The only slight negative comment I would have is there was a smell of stale smoke the the corridor, although the room was fresh and airy. The location of Cassidy's is excellent, giving a haven from the city, whilst only being 2 minutes from the buzz of O'Connell Street proper. Very handy for anyone wishing to see a show in the Gate Theatre. This is my second visit to Cassidy's and it will not be my last.

comments Our weekend in Cassidys Hotel was great. the staff were all very pleasant even though they were quite busy. Any requests that we made were done almost immediately and we would recommend the food in both breakfast room and dining room it was excellent. comments We arrived at 8am and were greeted and able to be checked in early. Great location, only 10 minutes walk away from Temple Bar with more great restaurants and bars on the way. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a little dated but very clean, rooms were cleaned and beds made up daily. Adequate for our needs. We were 4 girls with 2 twin rooms next to each other (helped when we were getting ready for going out and sharing a few drinks!) We would definately look at staying there again when we next visit Dublin.

comments Great location, reasonable price. Attractive reception and bar area. Pleasant staff. Room too hot but couldn't leave window open due to road noise. Decor tired, window sills filthy, nacho crisp pieces on the carpet by the bed. Also no wi-fi while we stayed meaning we couldn't take advantage of online discounts for various atttactions.

comments The service we received from the hotel was first class. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff especially assistance they gave when I had mislaid an item in a taxi. The main public area of the hotel was clean and tidy although our bathroom needed some extra work as some fitments needed replacing. They showed signs of age and use plus re-grouting was essential in the bath area. Overall our 3-night stay was very enjoyable especially as the hotel location was ideal for sight-seeing and close proximity to transport link for Dublin Airport.

Best part of our stay was the location, the hotel is located at the end of O' Connell st, Dublin's main street. However the hoel is totally noise free. Stayed here many times and never heard a peep. comments I was extremely pleased that I had chosen the Cassidy Hotel for our long weekend break. I was with my two daughters, a 21st birthday treat. We had a beautiful room overlooking the front of the hotel towards the theatre. The beds were extremely comfortable, so much so that we had trouble getting out of them, and the showers made me stay in that little bit longer. We had our first evening meal in the hotel which was very nice indeed. The breakfasts every morning were scrumptious and plentiful. I really don't have a bad thing to say about the Cassidy and I really could'nt understand how anyone elso could be disatisfied either. The location was brilliant. I think we exhausted all the sights in Dublin, choosing to walk everywhere rather than hop on and off a bus. It was lovely to return to the hotel bar late on in the evening and enjoy the company of the bar men who were very pleasant. Would have liked to have stayed longer and perhaps find time to use the gym next time. I hope to return some time soon.

The room we stayed in was in the executive suite room 462 the room was lovely, plenty of space and had its own personal balcany/terrace this again was large. It was very clean and comfortable, The Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. There is a bar and restaurant within the hotel also a fitness suite. I would recommend this Hotel and I would definately stay there again!!

The only negative were the two separate groups of drunk boys throwing up and urinating in the alley outside our room between 2 am and 3 am. Not the hotel's fault, but a nasty way to be woken up during the middle of the night.

comments Generally I had a pleasant stay. It was, however, very frustrating to arrive and not have any parking available. I do not think the fact that parking needs to be requested at time of reservation is well flagged up on the website. The high rise car park nearby is a 5 minute walk which can be awkward when carrying baggage. That aside the hotel was very pleasant.

comments Lovely hotel, room was comfortable and clean, food at the hotel was great had no problems staying there , already booked to stay again in January. The hotel is 10 minutes from walk from Temple Bar and a taxi cost no more than 6 Euro if you dont fancy the walk.

comments The room was nice enough, typical hotel room, nice bathroom, very clean. The only issue was that after getting off the lift the room was through a set of doors, up a set of stairs, through another set of doors and then into the stairwell. We had a good laugh about it, but could be inconvienient for those with mobility issues. The great thing about the place was location. We literally got off the dublin bus from the airport right at the front door, were within short walking distance of food, shopping, and sightseeing, and catching the bus back to the airport was a 2 minute walk away. We couldn't have had a more convenient location.

comments I am satisfied with my stay at Casiddys. I have a couple of suggestions/comments. 1) The hotel has a selection of plug adaptors available for its guests and that is very useful; however I could not find this piece of information anywhere on the website. It would have been more useful to have known that in advance. 2) In my room (218) the shower head does not dispense water evenly as some of the holes are partially blocked. I think limestone is the main cause. It should be fixed as it is rather annoying.

comments This is the 2nd time I have stayed as Cassidy's Hotel, and would stay again. The location is great, and the staff is very nice. The food in the bar is good, and the bar is nice and cozy. They offer free wi-fi service, but our room was in the Executive wing and we got no wi-fi signal in the room which was disappointing since I wasn't able to check email or anything from the comfort of my room, which was part of the reason why we stayed there to begin with (minor reason, but still annoying).

comments This is a well located hotel, at the upper 3* range, with small but clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast and a small but good fitness room (better than some nearby 4* hotels). If you are not star oriented but want a good place to stay I recommend it. This was my second stay and I will use the hotel again. I was very pleased that the hotel contacted me internationally to clarify, at short notice, a double booking problem arising from a mistake at my firms travel office.

comments The restauant was excellent. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The staff were very obliging and, in fact, expedited the return of an important item that we left in the room. Our stay was marred, however by discovering a broken toilet when we arrived (handle disconnected). Housekeeping came while we were eating and repaired the connection, but had not tried the toilet since it continued not to function at all. Since it was late, we lived with the broken toilet since we had to leave early the next day.

comments Room was overall quite nice. Much larger room than I'd expected for the price. Well located. Good breakfast. I only had 2 problems: 1) The plumbing was not great - it made loud sounds at night. I had to sleep with the bathroom door firmly closed, and even then it woke me on several nights. Also, the toilet required a peculiar double-pump on the handle to get it to flush properly. 2) Bed sheets didn't seem to fit fully - they came off nearly every night, leaving me sleeping directly on the mattress.

comments We had a fabulous stay at Cassidy's Hotel, we found the staff to be extremely accommodating. We booked our room online from the United States after reviewing several hotels. Our original plan was to stay at Cassidy's only for a few days during our 12 day vacation not knowing exactly what to expect regarding location and the spaciousness of the room. We spent the extra $20 for the room upgrade and we were not disappointed. We liked our room so much that we requested the same room for the rest of our stay. The room was in great location to O'Connell St. (you can walk to everything), affordable (even with upgrade), comfortable, clean, and quite. There were only a couple of things we found that could be improved, we did not book our reservation with breakfast included and we are very happy that we didn't. We tried breakfast one day at the hotel although there was hot food on the buffet it was not to our liking (the eggs were not edible) so we went out every morning for breakfast there are several places on O'Connell Street that offered affordable meals. The last thing is the pillows on the beds were not the best (very stiff) but we slept just fine. Overall we had a grand time and would definitely stay at Cassidy's Hotel if we ever visit Dublin again.

The first night the room was very small and isolated. The rooms for the second and third nights were much better. They were bigger and not isolated. The reception area and clerks were helpful and friendly. I ate at the restaurant and the waiter was very good. The hotel is nicely centralized in the city. I will recommend highly this hotel to my friends and colleagues. If I ever return to Ireland, which I plan to do, I will definitely stay at Cassidy's Hotel again. Regards, EM.

comments We had requested 2 non-smoking rooms - when we arrived both rooms had ash trays in the room and smelled of smoke. Office staff could only change one room the first night - so we were separated in two different buildings. The second night they were able to move the rest of our party to a non-smoking room - which we appreciated. Office staff was helpful and professional though not over friendly. Recommendations for places to eat and hear music were excellent.

comments We returned to Cassidy's after having a lovely stay there in November 2009. We stayed for 2 nights/3 days and yet again had a really enjoyable stay. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent menu and in walking distance to main area. A really enjoyable break and can't wait to go back.

comments I felt the website had given me a realistic impression of the hotel prior to my visit. The location was absolutely perfect for bus tours, shops and easily getting around town and yet I didn't feel it was noisy (I was expecting a city centre hotel to be very noisy). The staff were incredibly welcoming and very helpful with any enquiry. I felt the rooms were appropriately priced and the facilities were perfect. It made a wonderful start to our holiday in Ireland.

comments Staff extremely courteous,accommodation excellent, beautifully decorated rooms and spotlessly clean, breakfasts quite frankly were abysmal, luke warm food and not in keeping with the traditional good irish breakfast that i was so looking forward to. However I would most definitely re-book. Special mention about the young red haired (beard attached ) man in worked in the bar, great personality and great people skills.Have previously stayed in other hotels in Dublin (often more expensive ones ) and overall rate Cassidys up there with them. I travel to Dublin few times a year for rest and recreation and will look forward to another stay with you(maybe without the breakfast!!!)

comments I thought we received good value for my money during my stay at Cassidy's. Our rooms were in the executive wing (so a bit of a hike from the lobby, but not a huge inconvenience and probably quieter since it backed onto a laneway rather than the main road)- the rooms were very clean, well appointed (I especially liked the heated towel racks!) and quite comfortable. The shower had some of the best water pressure I've ever experienced in Ireland. The location was fabulous - walking distance to just about everything in the core. The free wi-fi was a nice touch and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. I will definately consider staying at Cassidy's again the next time I visit Dublin.

comments Cassidy's Hotel is in an ideal location. Just a short walk away from shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. The breakfast and evening meal were really good. My advice would be to request a non-smoking room if you want one as level 3 smells quite smokey as this is the designated smoking floor. All staff were very helpful and friendly.

comments The hotel is in an ideal location in the city centre making it a perfect base for touring and site seeing. The hotel has its own secure car park which is ideal but must be pre-booked when making a reservation. Our room was in the executive wing and was very spacious, comfortable beds, well equipt, free wifi, large bathroom and air conditioning (which was much appreciated). There was a good choice of food for breakfast which was included. Overall for a city centre hotel in an executive room the price was very reasonable.

comments We rented two rooms, and both were roomy and clean. We arrived before check-in time (flight from the USA) and the staff allowed us to check directly into the room that was ready. Service was first-rate during our stay, and the location was close to everything. Would definitely recommend Cassidy's as being a great value.

comments I was disspointed with the fact that there was no ventilation in our room. It was warm weather while we were staying there and one of the windows opened about three inches and the other did not open at all. There was no air conditioning in the room and it got very stuffy, especially at night. When I requested a fan for the room I was told there were none available. They did offer to move us to another room with air conditioning, but we were with our family in the room next to us and we did not want to be moved to a different part of the hotel. Other than that our stay was good. The front desk staff were very professional and helpful.

comments room was in need of refurbishment especially bathroom. it was also placed at back of hotel with not a very pleasant outlook and extremely noisy all night. on arrival the internal corridors needed a good hoover. on a positive note, the bar had a pleasant atmosphere and the breakfast room was nicely spaced out, however, tables could have been cleared more often and you waited a long time for staff to ask if you wanted tea or coffee on arrival, however, the actual breakfast was good.

I loved having my coffee at butlers chocolate coffee shop they also sell amazing chocolates. I had a coffee there every day and they give you a complimentary chocolate with your drink. I would stay at the cassidy's hotel if i were visiting Dudlin again. I must also say it is very expensive to eat and drink in Dublin two pints of larger were working out to £10. sharon malhi.

Amazingly, the beautiful blonde receptionist greeted us with a "Welcome back - nice to see you again!", even though we haven't been back for nearly a year! I remember HER (for obvious reasons), but the fact that she remembered us, was amazing! So, a fantastic hotel, very clean, good food, great, friendly staff, and an ideal location - a real gem of a place to stay in Dublin - we'll definately be back, as soon as possible! There was only one thing I could point out for improvement. The breakfast could have been a little better. I felt it was a bit basic. It was the same every day. comments Realy nice! In great location. The bus stations (including the one for the aircoach) are one minute walk away. Everybody were very polite and helpfull. The room was great and very very clean... The breakfast was realy realy good... Very good value for money... We would deffinately stay there next time...

comments Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast being served until 11 o'clock meant that there was no hurry in the morning. The bar meals were very good. The central location made sightseeing easy. Good value for the price paid.

comments i arrived 4hrs early and was given my room. i requested a quiet room it was very restful. the breakfast was great i booked dinner twice during my 3 night stay. the food was plentiful and very imaginatively served. the staff were very helpful.

comments Centrally located, small , comfortable and very clean hotel.Staff in all departments friendly and helpful. If there is a problem then it would be the very tiny wash basin with no toiletries shelf in the en-suite bathroom. I will go there again.

comments difficult to find when new to the city and driving in- quiet room, clean room overall OK for quality for price and once you locate the hotel it is nicely located slightly away from the noise of Dublin but walking distance to everything.

comments Hotel is very conveniently located to the town centre and all attractions. All staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. Restaurant and Bar were good and excellent service.Hotel room was 'tired' and needed some basic improvements and overhaul (bathroom door did not close!). Little touches like tissues in bathroom would be nice. Overall pleasant and comfortable stay but hotel needs a little TLC.

comments Even though our stay was for one evening, we had a fabulous experience. The room was very nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. We asked for the highest floor and away from street noise and we were easily accommodated. Staff was polite, friendly and extremely helpful in helping us with directions and restaurant choices. Will go back!

We had a meal in Groome's Bar on the evening we arrived and were very impressed with the food and the atmosphere. We are already planning a return trip, to stay at this hotel again.

comments i booked the hotel at a very reasonable price of 80e for two people, because of this I expected that the hotel may be run down. However the hotel was extremely clean and with the ideal location, I dont believe it would be possible to find any better value in Dublin's city centre
