comments Service very good ,rooms excellent value very clean and had everything one needed .food excellent . Just one slight niggle was that it was difficult to get to sleep with the continuous thud of the music at 2 in the morning .having said this I would still be more than happy to book in to the Carnegie court again when I return to swords .I would like to specially like to give a special mention to Shannon for her customer service - faultless !

comments The hotel proved excellent value for money and the breakfast was superb! We also had dinner in the bar and went for the early bird menue and again couldn't fault the quality of the food. The only issue we had throughout the whole stay was that the room, whilst it did have quite a few lamps in place was quite dark.... The smoking area is also the best I have EVER experienced!

comments The rooms were lovely, spotless and very comfortable. When we arrived we decided to go for some bar food, as we took a seat the table needed to be cleaned, we waited 20 minutes before someone cleaned our table, a further 10 minutes before I had to call someone to ask for menus, we looked at the menus and decided what we would order, as we waited for a member of staff to come back and take our order it was a further 25 minutes, this was too long! We got fed up waiting so we left. This was not a good service at all. As for breakfast, we orered room service, the lady who brought our food was very nice and friendly, our breakfast was good and we enjoyed it! The hotel overall was very nice and the reception staff were very helpful. I enjoyed my stay at the Carnegie Court Hotel.

comments I have been staying at the Carnegie court Hotel over the month of Jan 2011 and intend to stay again during February. The Rooms are clean and well equipped, the staff are friendly and helpful and the Bar food is excellent. I would highly recommend a stay at the Carnegie Court. Excellent value for money.

comments Second time I've stayed there. Booking process with online agent was simple and price deal was very good too, staff warm and friendly, rooms were spacious and clean. Two excellent evening dinners. Ideally situated very close to Dublin Airport. Overall very pleased. Will be using this hotel again.

comments We thoughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We had a small baby with us, and the staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms were comfortable, with plenty of room, and our breakfast was a delightful start to our day. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

comments I have stayed at Carnegie Court on more than a dozen occasions and each time have been extremely happy with the comfort and service the hotel provides. Shannon and the rest of the Reception Team do a great job in making guests feel very welcome. The Harp Lounge Bar is very comfortable and the breakfast is extensive and very tasty! I'd be happy to recommend the Carnegie as the very best place to stay close to Dublin Airport and within a short cab journey into the centre of town. I'm looking forward to my next stay there!

comments We appreciated that the hotel was high standard and quiet and for a price which was quite competitive when booked from internet. (we came for 1 night on 1 November). Its a convenient place when needing 1 night on the way from Dublin to the west. We will recommend it. Just that the instruction to reach the hotel at night were not so evident. We assumed the hotel would be visible from the main street and missed the sign just after the church. Maybe you could mention on the web site instructions "turn rignt just after the church and the entrance and parking are at the end of the path on the right".

Suggest your reception staff advise clients when they book in that it is highly desirable to book a table if they do not want to wait - although we did not have to wait long. The email response to my booking from Auststralia and assurance about the didtance to the Airport and breakfast availability was excellent

comments I stayed in room 107 and it appears that there is a problem with the hot water in the shower. It may be that I just couldn't work out the system but couldn't ask anyone at 6am. Also when you turned on the hot water at the basin the pipes shook extremely so much that you had to hold the fixings to stop it.

comments Everything was fine with the exception of service at breakfast. I felt that fell far short of what I expected - The young lady waiting on my table at no time exchanged pleasantries - no good Morning - thank you - please,... nothing. Not what I expect from an Irish girl - being Irish on a return visit I was quite aghast. The only time she spoke was to say 'what's your room number' and then she walked away.

comments The staff at reception, the restaurant and the bar were extremely friendly and efficient. Nothing was a problem even when I had to get multiple swipe card keys after I locked my own in my room. My only gripe is that there was a smell of stale smole in the corridor my room was in despite both my room and the adjacent room having permanent non smoking room signs displayed. All in all a very pleasant and relaxing stay and I would definitely recomend it.

comments My wife and I were attending a function in Swords recently and decided to stay in Dublin over night. We booked into Carnegie Court hotel, with no prior knowledge of the hotel. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we were more than happy with everything the hotel had to offer. The room was beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and our breakfast the following morning was excellent. We have stayed in many hotels and this would be our favourite. Full Marks to all concerned.

comments Nice hotel, good room but must have formerly been a smoking room as I could still smell cigarette smell in the furnishings and carpet. Couldn't get the fan heater unit to work at all despite the instructions - I wanted it to blow the air (not heated) to get some air movement in the room as it was stiflingly hot weather while I was there. Room otherwise was comfortable and lovely bathroom. Noisy guests leaving to go to the airport at 4:45am outside my window was annoying, but not your fault!

comments I hired out a function room recently for my 21st and also stayed in a hotel room for the night. First of all the staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and helpful, there was one girl in particular on the front desk, Sharon, that was so friendly and extremely helpful, she is a credit to the hotel. The function room was the perfect size, the bar staff were friendly and the food was great. My room was much bigger than expected, which was brilliant and it was great to have the smoking option. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book a function,thanks so much for making my day perfect!

comments Lovely Hotel. Great atmosphere and staff really friendly! The only down side is that we stayed in a smoking room, as I’m a smoker, and it was really Smokey! When we walked it, it smelt like someone had just put a cigarette out, it was really bad. And that's bad coming from a smoker! Have stayed in plenty of smoking rooms before and they all have been fine. My partner doesn't smoke and it really turned him! Even the shower curtain stank! But anyhow, on a lighter note! Food was great and the self-serve beer taps are a great item!

comments We stayed at the Carniegie Court on the 13th February for one night. The hotel was much nicer than i expected. The room was ideal, the decor was modern and very comfortable. There was no issue regarding a late check out which we greatly appreciated. The room and hotel was very very clean and I feel that the cost of the stay was very reasonable. Would definitely stay again and recommend your hotel to others.

comments The hotel was really lovely, rooms were spotless and staff were very friendly and very helpful. We stayed for a birthday celebration and there were lots of us, and everyone loved the hotel! comments My towels were changed even if I did not put them on the floor. The internet connection in the room was not possible - problem with automatic attribution of IP number. I do not smoke and I was in a room for smokers - it smelled bad. But the breakfeast was very very good.

comments We had a great stay at the Carnegie Court Hotel. We were staying there with 10 other guests for my brothers wedding. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been nicer. My mum is in a wheelchair and they could not have done enough to help us no matter what we asked. The food was excellent and the rooms were outstanding. We would certainly go back to this hotel in the future.

comments I have stayed at carnegie court four times over the last two years, we were passing swords on our way back to dublin airport as we had an early flight and we had to drive back from dungloe so we decided to stay near the airport and arrived at the carnegie. thankfully they had a room and since then we have told numerous friends all about it, the staff iether on reception are second to none as regars friendly and helpfull the bar staff also the waitresses, they all must work in a very good atmosphere. the food is second to none iether full irish or the four course in the evening, (very good value for money)shannon on reception is a very nice & helpfull person & that is what she makes you feel thanks shannon. we will certainly visit swords again as it is a very nice town very clean great shopping centre well done swords.
